Trinity House School è nata
nel 1994 e vanta ora un’ottima fama
grazie alla serietà ed alle metodologie
d’insegnamento applicate.
La scuola ubicata a un passo dalle più
importanti e belle città d’Italia, ha sede
in un bell’edificio di mattoni rossi ed
è situata nel centro di Dolo, a 300 metri
dalla fermata del bus e con un ampio
parcheggio riservato.
Dal 1998 è Centro d’Esame
autorizzato del Trinity College London,
ed ora anche Support Center.
All’insegnamento della Lingua Inglese
si sono aggiunte nel tempo il Tedesco,
lo Spagnolo, il Francese e
l’Italiano per stranieri.
Gli insegnanti sono tutti di madre
lingua e qualificati per l’insegnamento
della lingua straniera.
Le aule sono completamente attrezzate ed
a disposizione degli studenti ci sono:
una valida biblioteca con più di 200 libri
divisi per livelli, una fornita videoteca
con oltre 100 films in lingua originale
ed un’aula studio.

Trinity House was founded in 1994 and has acquired an
excellent reputation thanks to the professionalism and
teaching methods applied.
The school is situated in a beautiful red-brick building
in the centre of Dolo, just 300 metres from the nearest
bus stop and has an ample private car park.
Trinity House has been a recognised examination
centre of Trinity College London since 1997 and is now
also Support Centre.
Courses of German, Spanish, French and Italian for nonnative speakers have now been added to our
programme. All our teachers are native speakers and
are qualified foreign language teachers.
Our classrooms are well equipped and the school also
offers its students a book library (containing more than
200 titles), a film library ( containing over 100 titles) and
a study room.

Nowadays, English is the common language to many
people.
In the twenty-first century, the ability to speak English
will become more and more important in order to
further one’s career and to expand one’s own culture.
Trinity House offers courses at six levels, from beginner
to advanced.
During lessons you will study conversation,
pronunciation, vacabulary, grammar, reading, writing...
and more!
Our beginner courses are indicated for those people
who have no previous knowledge of English while
those who have already studied the language will be
given a placement test in order to advise the student on
which course is most adapt.
Each of our courses conclude with a written and oral
test, which assess the progress of each student.

Per bambini a partire dai 6 anni, organizziamo
corsi piacevoli e vivaci, che stimolano
l’apprendimento della lingua inglese attraverso
la fantasia ed il gioco, ma con provati risultati.
Ogni anno scolastico porta un passaggio
di livello con il rilascio del diploma e
della pagella per tenere sempre informati
i genitori dei progressi dei loro figli.
Per i ragazzi tra i 12 e 16 anni organizziamo
corsi specifici per imparare, perfezionare e
rafforzare in modo concreto la lingua inglese.
Ogni anno scolastico, porta ad un passaggio
di livello con il rilascio del diploma e
della pagella per tenere sempre informati
i genitori dei progressi dei loro figli.
I bambini e i ragazzi possono avere,
facoltativamente, l’opportunità di sostenere
un esame in Spoken English, organizzato
dal Trinity College London, del quale la scuola è
Support Center, Istituto Britannico riconosciuto
nell’ambito del Progetto Lingua 2000 promosso
dal Ministero della Pubblica Istruzione
per la formazione del portfolio europeo
ed il rilascio dei crediti formativi scolastici.
Trinity House offers lively courses for children from the
age of 6. These courses stimulate the learning of the
English language through games, songs etc. while at
the same time obtaining excellent results.
Each school year takes the child to a higher level and a
certificate and progress report keep parents informed
of their child’s progress.
For Teenagers between the ages of 12 and 16 Trinity
House organises special courses for learning,
improving and consolidating the knowledge of the
English language.
Children and teenagers attending our courses will
receive the preparation necessary to substain an exam
in “Spoken English” organised by the Trinity College of
London.
This British institute has been recognised and acepted
as an assessment board within the “progetto Lingua
2000” which has been promoted by the Ministry of
Public Education in Italy.

At Trinity House all our teachers are native speakers of
English and are professionally qualified for the teaching
of English as a Foreign Language.
The method used is the “Communicative Approach”,
which is based on the constant contact between
student and teacher and which follows a balanced and
intergrated approach to the four main skills of
speaking, listening, reading and writing, focusing on the
development of the ability to speak and understand
English. Each class has a limited number of students in
order to guarantee each student the highest possible
degree of support and advice during their studies.

Trinity House works in collaboration with many selected
institutes where students have the opportunity of
attending full-immersion courses of English while staying
in an English speaking country.
We have visited and selected the following locations for
you, Great Britain: London, Edinburgh, Oxford, Salibury,
USA: San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo, San
Diego, Malta: Saint Julians, South Africa: Cape Town,
Australia: Sydney.
Each course consists of 15/20 lessons per week for a
minimum of two weeks. Each student will be given a
placement test on arrival and placed in the best course for
their needs.
Courses start most Mondays. Accommodation is in
selected family homes but hotel and self-catering
accommodation can be arranged and children and
teenagers can be placed in colleges.

di 20/25 ore per settimana,
per un minimo di due settimane.
L’accomodation dello studente è curata
dalla scuola, scegliendo uno dei molti
Hotels in Ville storiche della Riviera
del Brenta, o in guest houses, o
presso famiglie selezionate.
Le classi partono il lunedì fino al venerdì,
dalle 9.00 alle 13.00 o 14.00.
Alla fine di ogni corso
allo studente viene rilasciato un diploma.
Nel tempo libero lo studente potrà
visitare le bellezze delle città
di Venezia e Padova, che distano
pochi Km dalla scuola, oppure Dolo e
la Riviera del Brenta, che offrono
un inaspettato spettacolo.
È proprio lungo il Brenta infatti che
i Patrizi Veneziani costruirono nel XVII
sec. le loro belle Ville, alcune Palladiane.
Oggi alcune di queste sono state
trasformate in musei, altre in hotels,
altre appartengono ancora alle famiglie
storiche e sono aperte al pubblico
per visite su prenotazione.
Navigare lungo il Brenta sul Burchiello,
e visitare le ville e i giardini aperti,
è un altro modo per conoscere
la Riviera del Brenta,
durante il tempo libero dalle lezioni.
Trinity House è inoltre affiliata a palestre
e sports club dell’area, ed organizza
noleggio di biciclette o auto,
per chi vuole essere indipendente.

For people who would like to study Italian
while visiting Italy, we offer study
vacations of 20/25 hours per week for
minimum of 2 weeks.
We also arrange hotel accommodation in any
of the many wonderful villa hotels or guest
houses in the area, as well as home stay
accommodation with select host families.
Classes are held from Monday to Friday from
9.00 to 13.00 or 14.00. At the end of each
course, each students will be evaluated and
presented with a progress diploma.
In the free time remaining, students can visit
the neighbouring towns of Venice and Padua.
Apart from the unique beauty of Venice and
Padua, Dolo and other towns, which are
situated along the Brenta Canal, offer
spectacular views of their visitors. In fact,
along this canal the Venetian Patrizi chose to
build their magnificent summer villas.
These villas, some of them Palladiane,
demonstrate the grandeur of the XVII
Century. Today some of these villas have
been transformed into museums or hotels
and some are even still owned by the
original families and are open to the public
by appointment.
Sail along the Brenta Canal on the
Burchiello, visiting the villas and beautiful
gardens is only one way of relaxing during
your free time from school. For those people
who enjoy sports, Trinity House is affiliated
with gymnasiums and sports clubs in the
area. We also arrange bicycle and car hire
for more independent trips. Studying at
Trinity House can really be a vacation! It is a
truly unique experience to study Italian while
discovering some of the most beautiful parts
of Italy and meeting its wonderful people.

Ogni classe ha un massimo di 10 studenti.
Per verificare i progressi di
ogni studente, alla fine di ogni
livello ci sarà un test, scritto ed orale.
Il superamento di tale esame permette
di accedere al livello superiore.
Si organizzano anche lezioni
in piccoli gruppi o individuali.
Questi corsi offrono ai partecipanti
piena flessibilità per durata e
numero di lezioni, e danno
la possibilità di trattare argomenti
specifici per preparare lo studente
all’uso dell’Italiano a lui necessario.
For people who are already living in Italy and who would
like to learn or improve their Italian, we offer group
courses from beginner to advanced levels.
These courses have a duration of 10, 20 or 30 weeks.
There are two 90-minute lessons per week.
Maximum number of participants is 10 per class. At the
end of each level there is a written and oral test to check
the progress of each individual student and which will
permit entrance to subsequent level.
We also arrange individual one–to-one lessons or small
closed courses. These courses obviously offer the
participants full flexibility concerning the duration and
number of lessons per week. Furthermore these courses
can be tailor-made to meet the student’s specific
