Dear Tabler,
It is an honor for me to welcome You to my city
of Mantova and invite You to the EUROMEETING
ROUND TABLE Nr 20 the next May of 2013.
Mantova, a city of Unesco, the cradle of the
Italian Renaissance that gave birth to Virgilio
and rich in history, art and cuisine of our local
culinary tradition.
Surrounded by three lakes, our city has for
centuries maintained an undisputed beauty and
with its palaces, churches, towers and frescoes
has been a treasure all to be discovered.
I would like to take you to relive these emotions
of the Gonzaga family, lords who ruled the city
in the sixteenth century and together rediscover
the magic of the glories of the court.
Mantova and its province is also an agricultural
and industrial center famous all around the
world for its excellence: factories producing
Grana cheese, wines, pumpkins, melons and
nurseries; engineering companies, stocking
factories, processing and transformation of
timber, design and construction of swimming
pools and many other small businesses.
The Round Table Nr 20 Mantova is waiting for

11.30 AM - Ricchi Cellar: guided tour of
the cellars, from fermentation to the
bottling with suggested stop at the
charming cellars for the maturation of
wines in the barrique. Wine tasting with
snacks of local products. (Cantina Ricchi:
visita guidata alle cantine, dalla
vinificazione all’imbottigliamento con
passaggio doveroso alle suggestive

19.30 AM – Meeting at Cavallotti
Square and transfer by bus to Rivalta
sul Mincio. (Ritrovo presso Piazza
Cavallotti e trasferimento in pullman a
Rivalta sul Mincio).
21.00 AM – Dinner and entertainment at
the Restaurant “La mucca della zia” (in
English, “The cow of the Aunt”). Tipical
products, open bar, music and
entertainment. (Cena e divertimento
