- HOW TO REACH OUR GARAGE WITH YOUR CAR The Historical Centre of Florence is ruled by a territorial policy of traffic control called ZTL (Zone with Limited
Traffic). This areas which follow the ancient lines of the walls that surrounded Florence, are delimited by Telematic
Entrances from which only the ones who got an authorized particuliar TELEPASS can pass through. This TELEPASS
is released only with particuliar conditions (for example Handicapped people transport, for those resident in the
Historical Centre etc... ). In this conditions the professional or commercial activities are not included. This is a
problem for the Tourists and Guests as You to come to visit Florence, too. To solve that, the GARAGES in Florence
equipped themselves to remove fines directly form their Garage in collaboration with Highway Patrol.
LA SIGNORIA DI FIRENZE has agreement with GARAGE ONE in Oriolo Street, thanks to which You will be able
to enter in historical centre and in the ZTL without taking any fines. To do this, when You will come to the Garage
You will have to tell to Garage One’s Staff that You have passed through a Telepass Entrance and they will remove it
in 1 hour time.
ATTENTION: THERE ARE TELEPASS ENTRANCES LOCATED ON ROADS WITH YELLOW STRIPES ON
THEM. THIS ARE THE FORBIDDEN AREAS EVEN FOR CITIZENS AND TOURIST ON WHICH GARAGES
CANNOT REMOVE FINES BECAUSE THEY ARE RESERVED JUST FOR BUS AND TAXIS.BE CAREFUL!
