La Società Italiana di Fisica è lieta di annunciare che, a partire dal 2011, Il Nuovo Cimento B - Basic topics in physics
(NCB) sarà pubblicato in collaborazione con Springer nella serie The European Physical Journal (EPJ). In questo contesto la
rivista — continuazione del NCB — includerà nuovi argomenti. Con un Comitato Editoriale allargato e il nuovo titolo di EPJ
Plus verrà lanciata come parte integrante della rinomata collana di riviste di fisica EPJ, http://www.epj.org.
Mentre la Società Italiana di Fisica continuerà l’attività gestionale della rivista attraverso i suoi uffici editoriale e di produzione,
Springer si occuperà della distribuzione.
La rivista inoltre sarà in abbonamento solo su base elettronica, con accesso tramite il sito SpringerLink, la moderna
piattaforma Springer per la distribuzione di contenuti elettronici. In questo modo le pubblicazioni saranno valorizzate potendo
usufruire delle tecnologie più avanzate e di un facile accesso in rete. Servizi come “Table-of-Contents Alerts”, “My Springerlink”
e tanti altri saranno disponibili per gli abbonati. Ci auguriamo di favorire attraverso questo rilancio e alla cooperazione con
Springer l’ulteriore sviluppo della rivista pur mantenendo lo stesso standard di produzione, nell’interesse dei nostri autori e
lettori, e anche di una più ampia comunità globale.
Il Nuovo Cimento C - Colloquia & Communications in physics (NCC) e La Rivista del Nuovo Cimento continueranno le
loro regolari pubblicazioni, su carta e in versione online come in passato, a cura della Società Italiana di Fisica.

The Italian Physical Society is pleased to announce that, starting from 2011, Il Nuovo Cimento B - Basic topics in physics
(NCB) will be published in cooperation with Springer within The European Physical Journal (EPJ) series. In this frame NCB
will be relaunched and continued with a broadened scope and enlarged board under the new name EPJ Plus, as integral part
of the trusted EPJ collection of physics journals, www.epj.org.
While the Italian Physical Society will continue the everyday running of the journal through its Editorial and Production Staff,
Springer will take care of the distribution.
Furthermore the journal will become a subscription-based electronic-only publication, available on SpringerLink, Springer’s
state-of-the-art electronic content platform. Publications will be enhanced by the latest in electronic features and easy online
access. “Table-of-Contents” alerts, “My SpringerLink” and more will be at the fingertips of subscribers.
We are delighted to facilitate through this relaunch and cooperation with Springer the further development of the journal,
while keeping the same high production standards, in the interest of its contributors and readers, as well as in the interest of
a much wider global community.
Il Nuovo Cimento C - Colloquia & Communications in physics (NCC) and La Rivista del Nuovo Cimento will continue
as usual to be regularly published by the Italian Physical Society both in the paper and electronic version.
