The altar of the presentation is made entirely
with architectural and sculptural elements.
The central scene is the most important part of
the monument because describes the sacred
scene of the presentation of the Vergin to
the temple and because of the quality of the
sculptures.
The project is based on a particular attention
to the quality of light, based on two different
temperatures of white light, on the position of
light sources in relation to control the shadows
and finally the control of beamwidth of lights.
Befoure the realization of new lighting the monument wasn’t illuminated and did not have the
strength to catch the attention of visitors.
Now the fruition of this side of the Cathedral is
changed.
