line to keep nails healthy, beautiful and
strong.
Nails can tell a lot of an individual’s health.
They are horn-like envelopes covering the
dorsal aspect of the terminal phalanges of
fingers and toes. Nails substantially contribute
to the manipulative accuracy of the hand
and enhance sensitivity of the fingertips,
thanks to the large innervation of the nail bed.
Finally, they have the function of protecting the distal phalanx, the fingertip,
and the surrounding soft tissues from injuries and infection.
Nails are mostly made of keratin, with other substances that provide elasticity,
flexibility and resistance.
Many are the problems that can affect nails.
Generally, nails become brittle because they get “dry”, meaning that the
normal water content is strongly reduced. Brittle nails become thinner, peel in
their distal portion, break and may show fissures.
Like skin, nails as well can be affected by abnormal keratinocyte growth and
activity, with a consequent anomalous thickening of the stratum corneum. The
thickened nail surface tends to get altered and peels, and often turns
yellowish.
Finally, nail biting is another common problem. It is the compulsive habit of
eating nails when nervous, under stress or boredom. Besides the fact that nails
will look ugly, nail biting can expose to germs found under the surface of the
nail that get carried into the mouth. In time, nail biting may even affect front
teeth enamel, triggering the onset of caries.

The product range
S43 – Strengthening solution
Poly-active, hydro-alcoholic solution for brittle nails that tend to
break easily. Thanks to its unique formulation, strengthens the
structure of the nail plate, reducing the annoying inconveniences
connected with nail fragility, such as the nail surface peeling off
and the free edge breaking. Formaldehyde free.
How to use: rub the bristles of the brush with your fingers to prepare them for use.
Use the brush to distribute the product over the entire nail, insisting especially on and
underneath the free edge. Begin treatment with 3-4 applications per day for the first week,
then continue with a single application per day for at least another three weeks.

Onix – Nail biting solution
Thanks to the dual-purpose action, provided through the bitter
and spicy tasting plant extracts included, it reduces the temptation
to bite nails and cuticles.
How to use: rub the bristles of the brush between the fingers to prepare them for
use. Spread plenty of the product on the nails and the surrounding area, and
allow to dry. Repeat application several times a day, especially after washing
hands. Warnings: do not touch the eyes immediately after application. In case
of accidental contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. Even though small amounts
of products may be absorbed through contact with oral mucosa, the product is harmless.

Cuticare – Softening lipogel
Highly softening, lipophilic gel for the specific application onto fingernail
and toenail cuticles. The instant softening effect allows to easily work on
cuticles to shape them, providing a flawless manicure and pedicure
treatment. The inclusion of a plant-derived bacteriostatic agent helps to
prevent any inflammation of the cuticle or the skin folds around the nail.
How to use: apply the product to cleansed and dry nails and cuticles and massage
for a few minutes.

Psocare 30 - Normalising treatment thickened nails
Treatment including a high concentration of urea (30%) to counter nail
hyperkeratosis, which often comes with a significant yellowish
appearance. Its formulation, enriched with alpha and polyhydroxy
acids, effective moisturisers, allows to smooth the surface of fingernails
and toenails.
How to use: Apply using the tube-brush on previously cleansed and dried nails. Allow
to dry, do not rinse. The recommended application is 2 times a day for 3 months.
Warnings: do not touch the eyes immediately after application. In case of accidental contact
with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.

Gentle nail polish remover – Acetone free
Nail polish remover, free of acetone and dyes and including an
allergen-free perfume, that removes nail polish without damaging
the structure of nails and cuticles. Enriched with sweet almond oil
and vitamin E, dissolves polish, even those with a high pigment
concentration, in a few strokes, leaving the nail perfectly clean,
without any unpleasant dehydrating effects.
How to use: dab a cotton ball with the polish remover and rub it on the nail to
facilitate polish removal.

MICout - Anti-fungal treatment
Alcohol-based, film-forming solution to treat nail mycosis. Transparent
and totally colourless, it has been developed for use on the nail and
the surrounding area.

How to use: use the brush provided to apply once or twice daily on clean nails,
above and under the free margin and on the periungual area, leaving it to dry. Screw the cap
tightly on to close the bottle after use. After the nail appears normalised, continue treatment
with a daily application for at least two weeks after. Should no appreciable results occur after
three / four weeks of treatment, consult your doctor. When using this product, avoid applying
nail polish, glues or nail reconstructions. As a hygienic recommendation, only personal use of
the product is advised. Warnings: use on intact skin. For external use only. Do not use in case of
known hypersensitivity to any product components. Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of
contact, rinse thoroughly with water. Keep the product out of the reach of children. Store at a
temperature between 4°C and 25°C.
Composition: film-forming polymer from natural source, piroctone olamine,
eugenia caryophyllus e.o., shikimic acid. Excipients: denatured alcohol,
solubilisers, deionized water.
