The table below shows the recommended cleaning intervals of the dust seals.
Without periodic cleaning of the dust seal, there may be infiltration of mud into the fork. Such
infiltration compromises the smoothness of the fork and causes serious leaks from the seals.

• Fare leva sul bordo del
raschiatore e toglierlo dalla sede del
gambale.
• Pry up the edge of the wiper
and carefully remove it from the seat in the leg.

• Con un panno pulire da ogni
traccia di fango la sede del raschia
polvere e il bordo superiore del
paraolio.
• With a clean cloth, wipe away
traces of mud at the base of the dust seal
and the upper edge of the oil seal.
• Forzare da un lato il raschia
polvere e introdurre il panno. Fare
roteare il parapolvere sul panno fino a
pulire ogni traccia di sporco all’interno
dei labbri di tenuta.
• Forcing with one hand to
introduce the cloth under the dust seal
Swirl the cloth under the seal to
wipe off any dirt trapped to the inside of the
sealing lips.
• Ingrassare il tubo con un
grasso per paraoli.
• Lubricate the tube with a
seal grease.

• Posizionare il raschiatore “E”
sul grasso e fatelo girare sullo stesso.
• Place the wiper "E" on the
flat area and twist itton the same.
• Inserire in sede il raschiatore
aiutandovi con la parte piatta di un
cacciavite.
• Seat the wiper in place with the
help of the flat side of a screwdriver
