History
Thermowatt was founded at the beginning of the 50s and it is now a leading company in the
manufacturing of heating elements and thermostats.
The high quality of used materials, the most modern production technologies, highly specialised personnel

appliances manufacturers.

LINEA FORNI
COOKING APPLIANCE
Resistenze per cottura e riscaldamento in aria.
Prodotte in acciaio inox sono utilizzate in forni e grill di cucine, bistecchiere, camere di lievitazione, forni pane
e pizza. La corazza esterna ha un ruolo fondamentale nello smaltire il calore verso l’esterno e garantire la
durata nel tempo del manufatto.
L’ambiente di lavoro cui sono destinate non è critico ai fini della corrosione, quindi la scelta dell’acciaio va
fatta in funzione della temperatura.
L’elevata temperatura raggiunta dall’elemento riscaldante, il contatto con ambienti secchi, consiglia l’impiego
d’acciaio AISI 321 (acciaio NiCr) per temperature fino a 780 C. Per quelle fino a 850 C la scelta cade
sull’AISI 309 (acciaio refrattario) o INCOLOY800. I sistemi di sigillatura adottati garantiscono un corretto
isolamento elettrico ed un ottimo funzionamento ad elevate temperature.
Heating elements for oven and air heating.
These products, manufactured in stainless steel are used in ovens and grills, electric barbecues, proving
chambers, bread and pizza ovens. The basic function of the outer sheath is the distribution of heat to the
ambient and to assure the long term reliability of the product.
The working ambient, which the product is destinated to, is not critical for corrosion, so the chioce of the steel
is made in relation to the temperatures. According to the high temperature reached by the heating element in
dry ambient the choice is AISI 321 (NiCr steel) for temperatures up to 780 C or AISI 309 (refractory steel) or
INCOLOY 800 up to 850 C. The sealing systems adopted guarantee a proper electric insulation and an
excellent performance at high temperatures.

APPLIANCE
Resistenze per lavaggio-asciugatura.
Prodotte in acciaio inossidabile e con leghe speciali di nichel e cromo, queste resistenze elettriche per
lavabiancheria sono dotate di autoprotezione termica, data da un termo-fusibiler collegato in serie
all’elelmento riscaldante. Thermowatt utilizza i termofusibili con esposizioni fino a temperature di 200 C. La
struttura dei componenti selezionati e il corretto dimensionamento tecnico dell’elemento dell’elemento
assicurano ottime qualità tecniche, elettro-meccaniche ed anti-corrosive.
Infine, un’esatta conoscenza dei fenomeni di corrosione in acqua dura e/o clorurata è elemento per una
corretta progettazione delle resistenze elettriche immerse.
Heating elements for washing-drying appliances.
These tubular heating elements, manufactured in stainless steel and special alloys of chrome and nickel
steel, are products for washing machines equipped with thermic self protection, thanks to a thermofuser
series-connected with the heating element. Thermowatt uses thermofuses with expositions up to 200
Celsius. Thermowatt laboratory tests shown the high reliability of the component at temperatures up to 250
Celsius. The structure of the selected components and the right tecnical specifications ensures high
technical, electromechanical and anticorrosive qualities. Furthermore, a good knowledge of corrosive
phenomena in hard and/or chloride water is essential to properly design immersion heaters.

di resistenze tubolari in acciaio inox e rame.
Thermowatt ha acquisito in questo campo una profonda esperienza che le consente di scegliere i materiali di
guaina più idonei in relazione alle prestazioni richieste. Le umidità relative, a volte elevate, che caratterizzano
gli ambienti dove questi elementi funzionano, impongono l’uso di appropriati sistemi di sigillatura atti a
garantire nel tempo opportuni valori di isolamento.

Thermowatt proposes its line of tubular product in stainless steel and copper in the field of steam generators
and coffee machines. Themowatt has achieved a long experience in the field and it is able to choose the
most suitable sheath material according to the type of water and requested performances. Related
humidities, sometimes very high, that characterises the spaces where those element work, the use of proper
sealing systems that guarantee suitable isolation levels over the time.
