officine CAOS (turin IT) CALL FOR ENTRIES
from March to July 2015
From March to July 2015 in Turin, Stalker Teatro - Officine CAOS, a big theatre location dedicated to
creation of cultural events together with local inhabitants, is offering a residence programme to professional
artists from both Italy and abroad, working in the fields of contemporary theatre and dance, performance or
multimedia art, in order to present their works.
We particularly wish to engage with work characterised by a strong commitment to artistic experimentation
within socially sensitive or challenging situations.
The residence programme provide artists/group with rehearsal space and accommodation. Officine CAOS
can also offers its residents technical support, by arrangement and subject to availability.
Such initiatives and events attempt to generating a network of individuals subjects of different age, groups
and cultural backgrounds, applying the languages of the contemporary arts to a social scale.
All artists/group are therefore encouraged to engage in the creation of “possible languages” as vehicles and
contexts for that sense of belonging to a community that needs to be discovered and perhaps, in our times,
reinvented.
A residence incorporate the following:
> Theatre space (20x30m)
> Technical equipment (by arrangement and subject to availability)
> Accommodation (maximum 6 people)
> Presentation of a repertoire’s work of the artist/group

officine CAOS (Torino) CALL FOR ENTRIES
da marzo a luglio 2015
Da marzo a luglio 2015 Stalker Teatro - officine CAOS di Torino offrono alcune residenze ad artisti italiani e
stranieri interessati a presentare le loro produzioni nel campo dell’innovazione dei linguaggi artistici.
Stalker Teatro offre agli artisti selezionati, gli spazi attrezzati, supporto tecnico e logistico, comunicazione e
ufficio stampa.
Sono particolarmente benvenute proposte di produzione artistica a valenza sociale, dove l’impiego delle
energie è indirizzato alla creazione di “linguaggi possibili” come veicoli e al tempo stesso contesti per il
rafforzamento del senso di appartenenza ad una comunità, da riscoprire e forse, nel nostro contemporaneo,
da reinventare.
La residenza prevede:
- disponibilità dello spazio attrezzato delle officine CAOS per la presentazione del/dei lavoro/i proposti
- supporto tecnico e logistico
- comunicazione e ufficio stampa
