Negli ultimi anni, il desiderio di riappropriarsi del contatto con il verde, ha portato a reinventare la concezione degli spazi outdoor,
che da semplici elementi esterni all’abitazione, sono divenuti parte integrante di essa e scenari fondamentali del vivere
quotidiano:è sorta l’esigenza di donar loro design ed eleganza, ma soprattutto funzionalità, comfort e solidità.
Sei anni fa, in risposta a ciò, METALCO inaugura METALCOHOME, una collezione di prodotti dedicati a chi vuole riappropriarsi
del piacere del vivere all’aperto senza rinunciare alle sensazioni e alle soluzioni di cui è possibile godere negli spazi interni.
Grazie alle tecnologie industriali più avanzate di cui la nostra azienda dispone e alla cura artigianale dei particolari che da sempre
ci caratterizza, nella collezione OPENDOOR siamo riusciti a superare la distinzione fra prodotto di serie e prodotto su misura,
ideando e producendo i nostri articoli in base anche alle esigenze del mercato.

In recent years, the desire to reconnect with nature has led to a reinvention of the concept of outdoor space. Simple elements outside the
home become integral parts of that and basic daily life. This develops the need to give design and elegance, but also functionality, comfort
and solidity.
Six years ago, in response, METALCO launched METALCOHOME, a collection of products dedicated to those who wanted to reconnect
with the pleasure of outdoor living, without sacrificing the sensation and solutions that can be enjoyed in indoor spaces.
Thanks to the latest industrial technologies which our company takes advantage of, and to the craftsmanship level of detail which has
always characterised us, we produced the OPENDOOR collection. Through this we were able to overcome the distinction between a
standard product range and customised products, designing and producing our items according to the market's needs.
The sleek design and the choice of fine materials such as stainless steel, aluminium and fabrics, are all elegantly combined to give shape
to a collection that represents a harmonious blend of technical innovation and METALCO's broad expertise in all stages of production.

Le fontane della serie FUENTE sono costituite da una struttura in tubo d'acciaio
corten, sabbiato e trattato con un particolare ciclo di ossidazione messo a punto
da Metalco, disponibile, a scelta, a sezione rettangolare o ellittica 100x200 mm,
di altezza 990mm con piastra base rettangolare 290x140x6 mm e tappo
superiore in lamiera. Il rubinetto in ottone nichelato è del tipo a pulsante con
molla di ritorno normalmente chiuso, avvitato al manicotto da 1/2” e raccordato
alla tubazione in acciaio inox con terminale filettato per l'allacciamento alla rete
idrica. La struttura è fissata con quattro viti alla base della vasca, in lamiera
d'acciaio zincato a caldo e verniciato a polveri P.P. di dimensioni 296x890 mm
e profondità 102 mm, dotata di un tubo di scarico e troppo-pieno ø40mm. Sul
retro della stessa è presente una feritoia adatta al collegamento del tubo di
alimentazione. La caditoia, asportabile per consentire la pulizia della vasca, di
dimensioni 740x290 mm e sp. 5 mm è in acciaio inox satinato.
The fountains in the FUENTE series are made from a corten steel tube,
sandblasted and treated with a unique oxidisation cycle fine-tuned by Metalco,
available in either 100x200 mm rectangular or elliptical sections, 990mm high,
with a 290x140x6 mm rectangular base plate and upper cap in sheet metal. The
nickel-plated brass tap is a push button type with a spring return that is usually
closed. It is screwed into a 1/2” coupling and connected to a stainless steel tube
with a threaded end to connect it to the water system. The structure is fixed to the
base of the tank with four screws, which is made out of hot-dipped galvanised
and polyester powder coated steel sheets. Measuring 296x890 mm, 102 mm
deep. It has a ø40mm outlet and overfill pipe. On the back of the tank is a slit
to connect the supply tube. The drain, which can be removed to clean the tank,
measures 740x290 mm, 5 mm thick, and is made out of brushed stainless steel.

zincante e polvere poliestere. Ogni lettera è dotata di zoccolo in inox
satinato sp. 3 mm per il fissaggio a terra tramite tasselli M8 (non
inclusi). Per comporre le scritte sono previste lettere e numeri in un
unico font a caratteri “bastoni” e non “graziati”.

words, the letters and numbers are in a single “serif” font and not
“sans serif”.

La panca HARRIS piana è costituita da due o tre supporti, zincati a
caldo (secondo la relativa norma UNI), in lamiera d’acciaio sp. 7 mm
con piastra predisposta per il fissaggio al suolo con tasselli (non
inclusi) e da una seduta di tre tavole di legno esotico di sez. 138x38
mm con fascione perimetrale rigato dello stesso legno, fissata ai
supporti con viti truciolari e rinforzata con squadrette in acciaio prezincato. Tutte le parti in legno sono verniciate a doppia mano: la
prima, di fondo isolante con applicazione a spruzzo e la seconda, a
finire, di vernice all’acqua per esterni. Tutti i componenti in acciaio
sono verniciati a polvere poliestere. Le dimensioni della panca sono
2076 o 3076x504 mm con altezza seduta 420 mm.
Il getta sigarette FU’ è costituito da una struttura ottenuta dalla saldatura
di tre spezzoni in tubo d’acciaio ø102 mm e dal contenitore vero e
proprio, in tubo d’acciaio inox ø89 mm. Il contenitore è dotato di piastra
posacenere e, grazie all’apertura con serratura a chiave triangolare, può
essere facilmente estratto per lo svuotamento e la pulizia. La piastra base
è predisposta per il fissaggio a terra con tasselli M8 (non inclusi). La
struttura è zincata a caldo (secondo la relativa norma UNI) e verniciata a
polvere poliestere Tutta la viteria è in acciaio inox. Altezza totale 1020
mm.

The FU’ cigarette bin is made of a three segments welded together, each
in Ø 102mm steel tube, and the liner itself, in Ø 89mm stainless steel
tube. The liner is equipped with an ashtray plate and, thanks to the
triangular key opening, can easily be removed for emptying and cleaning.
The base plate is pre-drilled for ground fixing with M8 bolts (not included).
The structure is hot zinced (in accordance with relevant UNI standards) and
polyester powder coated. All fixings are stainless steel. Total height
1020mm.
The HARRIS bench is made up of two or three 7 mm thick steel sheet
supports, hot zinced (in accordance with relevant UNI standards) with
pre-drilled base plate for ground fixing with bolts (not supplied) and a
seat of three 138x38mm section exotic wood slats, with a doublesided outer strip in the same wood, fixed to the supports with countersunk screws and reinforced with pre-zinced steel brackets. All wooden
parts are double-coated: the first coat is a base insulating spray and
the second finishing coat is a water-based varnish for outdoor use. All
steel components are polyester powder coated. Dimensions of the
bench are 2076 or 3076x540mm, with the seat 420mm high.

MIKADO

Il porta biciclette e dissuasore pedonale MIKADO è costituito da un
tubo in acciaio Ø 140 mm e altezza 978 mm (fuori terra) con
chiusura piana superiore in lamiera sp. 3 mm; il fissaggio a terra
avviene tramite un particolare dispositivo a scomparsa che può essere
tassellato o cementato grazie ad un innesto apposito, su cui si fissa il
dissuasore. La particolarità del dissuasore è la presenza, in vari punti,
di 6 fori passanti Ø 72 mm che, oltre a conferirgli un aspetto
accattivante, lo rendono utile come porta biciclette, utilizzando i fori
per il fissaggio di catene e lucchetti. Tutta la struttura è zincata a caldo
(secondo la relativa norma UNI) e verniciata a polvere poliestere.
The MIKADO bike rack and pedestrian bollard is made from a
978mm high (above ground) Ø 140mm steel tube, closed at the top
by a 3mm flat sheet; ground fixing is with a special concealed device
which can be bolted or concreted-in thanks to the suitable insert, onto
which the bollard is fixed. The peculiarity of this bollard is its
appearance, with 6 Ø 72mm holes at various points, as well as giving
it an attractive appearance, they can also be used as a bike rack by
securing chains and locks through the holes. The whole structure is hot
zinced (in accordance with relevant UNI standards) and polyester
powder coated.

METALCO è stata fondata nel 1984 ed è conosciuta in oltre 4.000 città di 32 Paesi per l'innovazione, il design
e la qualità dei suoi prodotti che ad oggi costituiscono la più ampia gamma esistente nel settore
dell'arredo urbano, arredo giardino, recinzioni modulari metalliche e dell'illuminazione urbana.
L'obiettivo primario di METALCO è progettare e produrre nuove generazioni di prodotti che esaltino le migliori
caratteristiche di materiali tradizionali come l'acciaio, il legno, la pietra e con concetti industriali che consentano
di raggiungere i livelli qualitativi più elevati ed una produzione rigorosamente "Made in Italy".
Tutto ciò ha permesso a METALCO di vincere molteplici premi in Italia e all'Estero, non ultima la
partecipazione alla Collezione Farnesina Design.
Il moderno stabilimento METALCO di 25.000 mq coperti sito in Castelminio di Resana (Treviso) rappresenta il
meglio in fatto di tecnologia della produzione; il nuovo impianto di verniciatura, assicura oltre 1.100 ore di
resistenza in nebbia salina.
Da gennaio 2009 tutta l'attività produttiva METALCO avviene esclusivamente con
energia solare: 10.000 mq di moduli fotovoltaici per 1.500 kWp di potenza
complessiva ovvero il consumo di 600 abitazioni; 10.000 tonnellate/anno di CO2
non immesse nell'atmosfera.
Questo il contributo concreto di METALCO all'Ambiente.

Italy and abroad, not least the Farnesina Design Collection.
METALCO's modern factory covers a 25,000 m2 in Castelminio di
Resana (Treviso) and represents the best in production technology; the
new coating facility guarantees over 1,100 hours of salt spray resistance.
Since January 2009 all of METALCO's production activities has been
powered exclusively by solar energy: 10,000 m2 of photovoltaic modules for
1.500 kWp total power, or the consumption of 600 homes; 10,000 tonnes /
year of CO2 not released into the atmosphere. This is METALCO's concrete
contribution to the Environment.
