REGULATION
1. CANDIDATES
Are admitted to participate in the fifth edition of the International Dance Competition City Bolzano® - Premio & Excellent
2011 candidates of any nationality, professionals and not, boys and girls.
2. SECTIONS CHOREOGRAPHY
The competition is divided into the following choreographic Sections:
1) Classic, New Classic and Character Dance
2) Modern Dance (Contemporary, Modern Jazz, Musical, Tip Tap, African, Tango, Bellydance, etc.).
3) Street Dance (various disciplines of Hip Hop)
Choreographic Composition
Each candidate may apply for more than one Section.
3. PARTICIPANTS
The Competition are allowed both candidates single and groups:

Soloists - (a participant)
Small groups - Duet (2 participants)
Groups large (from 3 to 20 participants)
A group can consist of different elements. Defines the category, the age of majority in the group. For the Duet composed of
mixed elements, defines the category the element of greater age.
4. CATEGORIES
The competition is divided into the following categories:
Not Professionals
• Baby (until 10 years);
• Under (from 11-15 years);
• Juniors (from 16 to 18 years);
• Seniors (from 19-without the maximum limit);
Professional
• Academic Junior(from 16 to 18 years);
• Professionals (from 19-without the maximum limit)
Minimum and maximum age (already completed to July 22, 2011). For the age of the candidates will make faith the
acknowledgment document.
5. DURATION OF CHOREOGRAPHY
The Soloists will present a dance of a maximum 3:10 min; Small groups -Duet 4:30 min; the Great groups 6 min.
It is not allowed to present the same choreography for 2 consecutive years.
6. PROGRAMME OF THE EVENT
The Selections of the competition will be held on 22, 23, 24 July at Theatre Rainerum, str. Cappuccini, 15 Bolzano, with the
following program:

If, for organizational reasons, changes occur, in order to optimize the performance of the event, complaints will not be
accepted or derogations. It is pleasing to be punctual for the proves and shows, and competitors must present one hour before
the start of stages. Each competitors will be entitled to only one prove. If you have any preference for the schedule of proves,
ask for time, and the organization will make possible to satisfy you, however, accuracy is not guaranteed. The arrangement of
candidates during the event will be the discretion of the Organization.
The organization reserves the faculty to make changes to this program for reasons not attributable to the same direction.
7. REGISTRATION
The candidates can participate to the competition after submitting the following documents within 08.07.2011: by post or email. Registrations after this date will be an increase of 25.00 €.
Are not taken into account the registrations by telephone.
• Regulation read and signed;
• Application form completed in its entirety and signed;
• Receipt of payment;
• In case of minors, signed permission from their parents;
• Certificate of good health, with valid date for selection, for each participant of the competition;
• A photocopy of a valid document (identity card, white paper for passports for minors or those coming from outside the EU);
• A brief resume of the soloist/group;
• List of participants;
ONLY FOR THE SECTION CHOREOGRAPHY:
• Presentation of the choreography, the choreographer's brief curriculum vitae;
• Declaration that the choreography is authentic and free from SIAE constraints.
For the precise date, makes faith the stamp of them.
The absence of the requested documents will result in exclusion from the competition.

The registration quotas are not refundable IN ANY WAY.
9. DISCOUNTS
Are previewed a reduction in price of 10% for those who partecipates for more than one category or section.
A reduction of 10% for the participants of region Trentin Alto Adige.
A reduction of 10% for the participants of the Bolzano Dance.
They apply only for the second registration and not for the successive ones.

All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
The Jury reserves to not assign all the prizes.
In the case of groups, the prize money will be divided among the winners.
11. JURY
The decisions and any changes made by the Jury are unquestionable and definitive.
In the case of absence, due to force majeure, one of the member of Jury, the proceedings of the Selection Committee will
continue regularly with the present members.
All candidates are invited to maintain a fair and sport conduct towards others and towards members of the jury. Subject to
immediate expulsion from the competition.
12. TECHNICAL
Size of the stage: the stage width: 13.90 m x 5.85 m.
Any signs for light effects or the presence of stage elements (which must be less cumbersome and easily removable), must
be notified in time to the director. It is not guaranteed, however the execution.
It will not be permitted to use any material that could be dangerous on stage. Should be aware of competitors who want to
use special tricks of the stage. They should not stain the stage, walls, equipment and dressing rooms. Immediate
disqualification from the competition.
13. MUSICAL ACCOMPANIMENT
Candidates must bring two copies of audio CDs of their music. This CD will be delivered to the candidate's arrival. The CDs
will not be returned if forgotten. The Organization will only accept good quality CD. The recordings not considered
professional to listen may be due elimination from the competition.
In case when a candidate will present for more than one category, must deliver a separate CDs for each song performed.
The music will stop if it exceed the time specified indicated. The music may not contain any kind of advertising. The CDs
must contain only one single track wrapping:
- Name and surname of the dancer or the group;
- Title of choreography: Name&Surname of the choreographer;
- Section and stylistic category.
14. DRESSING ROOMS AND ACCESS TO THE STAGE
Access to the stage and dressing rooms for the proves and participation in the stage of the competition is only available to
competitors, for a companion (equipped with a pass issued by the Competition on arrival). The arrangement will be
communicated upon arrival in the dressing room of candidates.
Access to the stage is governed by the timetables, compiled and presented by the Organization.
ONLY at the end of their performance, the contestants will have access to the part reserved for the public to view the
performances of other participants;
IMAGE REPRODUCTION
It will be forbidden to use cameras, video cameras or any other appliance Photos/Video throughout the event.
Those who are interested in photos/videos of choreography or a whole evening, should contact the organization during the
event.
16. INSURANCE
The Organization assumes no liability for any damage or injury during the event, caused by persons participating in the
contest, and for accidents occurring to themselves or to others (personal injury, trauma, etc.).
The Organization not assumes responsibility for any theft or loss that may occur to objects left unattended.
17. CHANGES AND CANCELLATION
If, for organizational reasons the event should be modified in the program or be canceled, the changes will be notified, at least
one week in advance and registration will be returned.
The organizers reserve the right to cancel one or more categories where the minimum number of participants is not reached.
18. COPYRIGHT AND PRIVACY
The competitors at registration waive any copyright. All participants in the competition autorize, in fact, the organization the
use of choreography and music that will present to acquire and use freely their own image, video recordings and the personal
data just for promotional purposes, popular, and statistical information, in accordance with Decree Law of Privacy
No of 675 of 31.12.96, amended by Decree Law No. 196 of 30.06.2003, and accept without questioning in any article and
content of this Regulation. Competitors also will not entitled any compensation or reimbursement for their participation in
the Competition.
For any dispute shall be brought only before the Court of Bolzano.
The Regulation and its FORM must be completed in CAPITAL LETTERS and signed in every part before being sent.
Participation in the Competition constitutes acceptance of the Rules. The organization may at any time, exclude the
competitor from the competition, or on its behalf, fails to comply with this regulation. Participants in the competition must
strictly adhere to these Rules, pain of exclusion.
