ACQUIRES SPACE AND PRESTIGE

rowth is the key word to
apply to the 28th edition of
the national agricultural
mechanization trade fair to be
staged in Savigliano, near Cuneo
March 20 to 22, an event which
has taken on over the years ever
greater standing and substance to
become generally known as the
biggest outing in the sector in the
northwest of Italy. This recognition
is well deserved; the respectable
figures of the last edition show
276 exhibitors set up in 700
stands and more than 80,000 visitors, mainly in the farming business, from around the Piedmont
region and nearby areas. These
are numbers which are now certain to grow thanks especially to
the work of the Events Agency,
the organizer of the event, to
shape the Savigliano fair into a
strategic appointment for the entire sector. Thus, in light of the
many requests turned down in the
past due to force majeure, work
has been completed for expanding the Borgo Marene trade fair
exhibition area from 38,000 to
45,000 square meters to give new
companies the opportunity to join
the line-up of participants exhibiting their agricultural machinery
and equipment.
However, the lengthening list of
highly qualified exhibitors (900 set

meccanizzazione agricola,
di scena a Savigliano (Cuneo) dal 20 al 22 marzo
prossimi, che sta di anno in
anno guadagnando sempre
maggior rilievo e spessore
tanto da essere generalmente reputata la più grande kermesse di settore del
Nord-Ovest Italia. Un riconoscimento ben meritato,
stando alle cifre dell’edizione 2008: 276 espositori, dislocati in 700 stand, e oltre
80.000 visitatori, per lo più
imprenditori agricoli, provenienti da tutto il Piemonte e dalle zone limitrofe.
Numeri in crescita, grazie
soprattutto alla volontà dell’Ente Manifestazioni, organizzatore dell’evento, di
rendere ancora di più la rassegna saviglianese un appuntamento strategico per
l’intero comparto. Così sono stati ultimati i lavori di

dall’ampliamento dell’area fieristica. Un nuovo padiglione
dedicato alle energie rinnovabili ed un interessante
programma di convegni

review, slated for March 22 to 22, promises many new
features, beginning with the expansion of the fair area. A
new pavilion dedicated to renewable energy sources plus
an interesting schedule of conferences

consentito di fornire a nuove ditte l’opportunità di entrare a far parte del novero
dei partecipanti che faranno mostra dei loro macchinari ed attrezzature per l’agricoltura. Il numero degli
espositori è salito pertanto
a 340, ripartiti in 900 stand.
L’incremento delle presenze, sempre più qualificate,
non è però la sola novità
dell’edizione 2009, particolarmente ricca di spunti,
nuove idee, temi interessanti e ragguagli sulle prospettive future. In primo
piano, dunque, le opportunità offerte dalle bioenergie, dall’efficienza energetica, dalla bioedilizia e dalle
soluzioni ecologiche, con
l’allestimento dell’area Eco
Tech, un nuovo padiglione
destinato ad accogliere i
produttori di componenti e
tecnologie rinnovabili e le
aziende operanti nella realizzazione di impianti e ser-

vizi in questi settori d’avanguardia che riscuotono un
forte interesse da parte del
mondo agromeccanico. In
tale ambito l’Ente Manifestazioni – che quest’anno
ha avviato una proficua collaborazione con UNACOMA, presente in fiera assieme ad Enama, l’Ente nazionale meccanizzazione agricola – ha messo a punto
uno stimolante programma
di incontri e convegni, or-
ganizzati di concerto con la
T&G Sistemi di Lagnasco
(Cuneo), la Cooperativa
Alpiforest di Roccavione
(Cuneo), la AAEnergy di
Torre San Giorgio (Cuneo)
e la ditta Alcea di Milano,
dedicati rispettivamente alle applicazioni dei sistemi
fotovoltaici nelle aziende
agricole, alla filiera produttiva delle biomasse, alle soluzioni vernicianti a basso
impatto ambientale per i
macchinari agricoli.
Un altro interessante convegno, curato d’intesa con l’Imamoter del Cnr e la Spresal-Asl 17, verrà incentrato
sulla sicurezza delle macchine agricole e sulla guida sicura, con approfondimento
del testo unico e della legge
regionale per la certificazione anche sotto l’aspetto pratico, grazie agli interventi
delle istituzioni. A questo
proposito sarà disponibile in
fiera, presso lo stand dell’Imamoter e di UNACOMA,
un simulatore di guida sicura
per macchinari agricoli da
provare direttamente sul posto, mentre una apposita vetrina esibirà il nuovo sistema
Isobus, che mette in comunicazione i differenti dispositivi presenti su trattrice ed
operatrice.
Grande risalto, come di consueto, avrà il Concorso delle
Novità Tecniche (che quest’anno vedrà l’ingresso nel
comitato di selezione di due
nuovi membri in rappresentanza di UNACOMA ed
Enama), finalizzato a valorizzare la realizzazione da
parte dei costruttori italiani
di macchine caratterizzate
da innovazioni o perfezionamenti idonei ad assicurare
un progresso tecnico nell’ambito della meccanizzazione agricola. Dopo il successo della passata edizione,
infine, torna alla fiera di Savigliano il concorso indetto
dall’Arproma e rivolto agli
studenti degli Istituti tecnici
agrari e professionali per l’agricoltura e l’ambiente della
regione Piemonte, che saranno invitati a presentare
un elaborato sul tema “Terra=Ricchezza”.

the future. Up front are the opportunities offered by bioenergies, energy efficiency, bio-building and
ecological solutions set up in the
Eco Tech area, a new pavilion
which will host the producers of renewable energy source components and technologies and companies working in the field of plant
and services in this avantgarde
sector now generating great interest in the agri-mechanical sphere.
In this connection, the Events
Agency profitably drew on the co-
operation of UNACOMA, arriving
at the event with ENAMA, the National Agricultural Mechanization
Agency, to draft an exciting program of meetings and conferences. These were organized also
with the help of T&G Sistemi of
Lagnasco (Cuneo), the Alpiforest
Cooperative of Roccavione (Cuneo), AAEnergy of Torre San Giorgio (Cuneo) and the Alcea company of Milan, and will focus respectively on farm applications of photovoltaic systems, the biomass
production line and agricultural
machinery paint with low impact
on the environment. Another interesting conference will be under the
management of Imamoter of CNR
and the Spresal-Asl 17 public
health office and take up farm machinery safety and safe driving and
a study of the text of regional legislation covering certification, including the practical points through the
intervention of institutional representatives. In the same area, an
agricultural machinery safe-driving
simulator will be set up at the fair, in
the Imamoter and UNACOMA
stand, for direct trials and a special
showcase will exhibit the new
ISOBUS system which handles
communications between the farm
tractor and implements.
As usual, great attention will be
trained on the New Techniques
Competition which this year adds
two new members to the jury to
represent UNACOMA and ENAMA. The purpose of the competition is to highlight the achievements of Italian manufactures of
machinery in the area of innovation and the perfection of projects aimed at ensuring technical
progress in agricultural mechanization. And finally, in the wake of the
success of past editions, the Savigliano fair will return the competition sponsored by Arproma for the
students of agrarian and professional technical institutes for Agriculture and Environment in the
Piedmont region who will be asked
to submit a paper on the theme
Earth=Riches.
