· Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, the straw-coloured white wine
with a delicate aroma;
· Lacrima di Morro d’Alba, the intense ruby red wine with a fruity
aroma of ripe red fruits;
· Vino di visciola, a sweet aromatic alcoholic beverage, from
wild cherries fermented in red wine;
· Lonza di fico, a dried fig log, with walnuts, almonds and sapa,
a sweet, boiled grape-must syrup;
· Cavallucci, biscuits filled with a mince of dried fruit and nuts,
cocoa, sapa, Rum or Marsala;
· Dolci and biscotti di mosto, bakery goods made with grape-must;
· Pizza al formaggio, looks like a panettone but is really a moist
and peppery cheese bread.

Jesi’s theatres are among the best and most active of the
Marche Region. The various theatre and concert seasons as well
as special festivals are put on all year, making the calendar of
events rich and varied.
Individual or season tickets may be booked and/or purchased at
the G.B. Pergolesi Theatre Box Office for both the Pergolesi Theatre and the V. Moriconi Studio Theatre performances as well as
for any of the shows held in Vallesina theatres managed by the
Pergolesi Spontini Foundation in Maiolati Spontini, Monsano,
Montecarotto, Monte San Vito, San Marcello.
The ticket office is located on the ground floor of the G.B. Pergolesi
Theatre in Piazza della Repubblica.

Bike Sharing
A bike rental service is available; the bicycles are electric and
the system is self-service. The first half-hour is free. The four bike
pick-up/drop-off stations are:

- at the Public Gardens [Map E3]
- at the Ripa Bianca Nature Reserve [Off map towards B12]
