Performer
Graduated at DAMS (Department of arts, music
and performance) of Bologna took the special
degree in theatre management. He took the
degrees in Nouveau cirque at the school of
Bologna, in contemporary circus at the school of
Turin, in physical theatre in the atelier of the
Grotowski Institute of Wroclaw, where he
studied with Zygmunt Molik, Maisternia Pisni
and with Theatre ZAR.
He has continued his formation in Poland with
Grzegorz Bral and Anna Zubrzycki of Teatr Piesn
Kozla, in Denmark with Roberta Carreri and
Torgeir Wethal at Odin Teatret, in Brazil with
Augusto Omolù and in Italy where he attended

the work sessions of Thomas Richards and Mario
Biagini at the Workcenter of Pontedera.
As a performer he worked with Buhne Bauhaus
(Germany), Agustin Leteler (Chile), Els
Comediantes (Spain), Teatro Continuo,
Laboratorio permanente of Domenico Castaldo,
Pippo Delbono (Italy).
In 2004 he founded the theatre company
Instabili Vaganti of which is actor in Lenz –the
Goethe’s monkey, Running in the fabrik, Rags of
memory and Avan-lulu.
He leads workshops on the actor’s training and
on circus arts and is currently training director in
the International projects of theatre research
Lenz (Italy – Germany) and of performing arts
Rags of memory (Italy, Germany, Austria,
Poland, Kosovo, UK, South Korea).
In 2009 he led the work sessions of the Atelier
To the light of the Grotowski Institute of
Wroclaw (Poland) and of the International
workshop festival at Hooyong Performing Arts
Cenrtre in South Korea.
He published the essay Sulla scena della diversità
(winner of the Award DAMS 2003) based on his
research and experience in the direction of
theatre workshops with actors with handicap.
Curriculum of Instabili Vaganti theatre company
Founded in 2004 by Anna Dora Dorno and Nicola Pianzola
Founded in 2004 by Anna Dora Dorno and Nicola Pianzola the
company has developed a method in which the physical and vocal
actions of the performers interact with different artistic forms.
The result is an organic unity of physical actions, songs, live music,
poetry, visual art and new media.
The company is also engaged in a work of research and
actualization of performance techniques and cultural traditions
through its own personal experimentation and artistic
contamination. Besides realization of performances, the company is
involved in organization of theatre workshops and international
projects of theatre’s research.
Instabili Vaganti has toured its performances and conducted
workshops in Italy, France, Germany, England, Poland, S.Korea.
The company is currently collaborating with the Grotowski
Institute of Wroclaw and the University of Bologna for its new
project Rags of memory.
