EUCALYPTO® IceFoam is Vefer’s new high resilience (HR), “Shaping” processed polyurethane foam.
Non-deformable, soft, light, snug and breathable. EUCALYPTO® IceFoam is specifically designed to cater primarily to a sleeper’s physiological and psychological needs, respecting body shape and promoting even weight
distribution.
The eucalyptus plant has been used since ancient times to cure all manner of respiratory ailments.
‘Eucalyptus’ is of Greek origin, meaning ‘well concealed’ in reference to its flower, jealously encased by its
leaves. The eucalyptus plant is native to Australian forests. Thanks to the speed at which it grows, its insectrepelling smell and ability to absorb humidity, it soon arrived in Europe. Its principal ingredients are found in its
leaves, rich in essential oils - the prime component of which is eucalyptol - which is dried and stored.
Eucalyptol is used in cosmetics to relax, regenerate and cleanse the body.
In herbal medicine and phytotherapy, eucalyptus is used for its balsamic and fever- relieving properties and
is recommended for treating asthma related problems which cause nocturnal breathlessness and poor sleep.
Charcoal from eucalyptus wood is used as a purificant in cases of substance or food poisoning.
Thanks to eucalyptus, with its refreshing, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, our products enhance and
promote sleep, cradling the sleeper in its fragrance.

prodotto Vefer. Indeformabile, morbido, leggero, traspirante ed avvolgente. EUCALYPTO® IceFoam è studiato
appositamente per rispondere a caratteristiche specifiche che mettono al primo posto le peculiarità fisiche e
psichiche dell’uomo, rispettando la forma del corpo e favorendo un’omogenea distribuzione del peso.
Fin dai tempi più antichi la pianta di eucalipto era impiegata per combattere ogni sorta di malattia che inficiasse
le vie respiratorie. Il suo nome è di derivazione greca e significa “ben celato” da riferirsi al fiore protetto gelosamente dalle sue foglie.
Eucalipto, pianta originaria della foresta australiana che grazie alla crescita rapida, al suo odore che allontana gli
insetti e al suo potere di assorbire umidità ha fatto si che arrivasse in Europa.
I suoi principi attivi sono presenti nelle foglie, che sono essiccate e conservate poiché ricche di olii essenziali, di
cui la componente maggiore é l’eucaliptolo.
In cosmesi l’eucalipto è usato per rilassare, defaticare e purificare il corpo.
In erboristeria e fitoterapia l’eucalipto è impiegato per le sue proprietà balsamiche e febbrifughe ed è indicato
per risolvere i fastidi causati dall’asma, spesso causa di affanni notturni e di un cattivo riposo.
Il carbone del legno di eucalipto è utilizzato in caso d’intossicazione accidentale da veleno o da cibo grazie alle
sue proprietà purificanti. Grazie all’eucalipto, con le sue proprietà rinfrescanti, antinfiammatorie e antisettiche, i
nostri prodotti migliorano e favoriscono il sonno e cullano con la loro essenza.
