SBP URBAN LIGHTING
ATON è una serie di apparecchi ad alta
efficienza e resa cromatica, progettati
per l’illuminazione pubblica. Il design
moderno, le elevate performance
fotometriche, la disponibilità di diverse
potenze e l’ampia gamma di sistemi di
installazione, consentono di utilizzare
gli apparecchi ATON in molteplici
contesti: per l’illuminazione delle grandi
vie di comunicazione, ma anche per

with LED light sources is amongst the most
efficient lines available on the market, in
combination with state-of-the-art power
supply and control systems.
Disponibile in due versioni:
- ATON LED per installazione testapalo con
attacco per pali ø 60 oppure ø 76 mm
- ATON-W LED per installazione su sbracci
dedicati (disponibili come accessori) e
parete.
Entrambe le versioni sono disponibili negli
allestimenti 25 LED, 35 LED, 40 LED, 55 LED
e 75 LED (70 LED per versione 700 mA), e
tutti a loro volta realizzabili in due diverse
tonalità cromatiche: bianco 6000 K e bianco
4200 K.
Ogni allestimento inoltre è presentato in
duplice potenza a seconda della corrente di
alimentazione dei LED:
- 530 mA per offrire il massimo rapporto
lumen/watt e conseguentemente la
massima efficienza energetica

con riduzione automatica della
potenza e in quella con alimentatore
elettronico ad alto rendimento già
pre-programmato per ridurre il flusso
luminoso del 50%. L’alimentatore
riconosce infatti la mezzanotte
astrale (il punto medio del tempo di
accensione) e riduce il flusso per 8
ore complessive, di cui 2 ore prima e
6 ore dopo.
ATON LED and ATON-W LED are also
available with automatic power reduction and with high-output electronic
ballast already programmed to reduce
the luminous flux by 50%. The power
supply recognises the astral midnight
(e.g. midpoint of the switch-on time)
and reduces the flux for a total of 8
hours, of which 2 hours before and 6

Tutte le sorgenti luminose hanno un
decadimento del flusso nel tempo.
Per assicurare i livelli minimi di illuminamento a fine vita, molti progetti
illuminotecnici sono calcolati sul livello
di illuminamento al termine della vita
nominale della sorgente (normalmente L80 cioè l’80% del flusso luminoso
iniziale). Questo significa che il sistema
consuma inizialmente più di quanto
necessario, sprecando quindi energia
durante la vita utile.
Le versioni ATON LED CFE possono
limitare queste perdite mantenendo
nel tempo il livello di illuminamento
necessario. Questo avviene riducendo
il flusso luminoso iniziale (ad esempio
fino a L80 se ciò è considerato nel progetto illuminotecnico) per poi incrementarlo passo passo in funzione del
decadimento luminoso della sorgente.
Ciò si traduce nell’avere un flusso
praticamente costante nel tempo ed
in un immediato risparmio energetico
rispetto ad una soluzione standard.

Emission) models are available upon

All light sources undergo a decay of
the flux over time.
In order to ensure the minimum
illuminance levels at the end of the life
cycle, many lighting projects are calculated on the illuminance level at the
end of the nominal life of the lamp
(normally L80, i.e. 80% of the initial
luminous flux). This means that the
system initially consumes more than
necessary, therefore wasting energy
during the useful life.
The ATON LED CFE versions can limit
these losses by maintaining the necessary illuminance level over time. This
is achieved by reducing the initial luminous flux (for example, up to L80 if
considered in the lighting project) and
increasing it step-by-step according to
the luminous decay of the light source.
The result is a practically constant flux
over time and immediate energy saving compared to standard solutions.
- 1-10 DIM - with 1-10V analogue dimmable ballasts for 220-240 V 50-60 Hz
nominal supply voltages.
- DALI DIM - with DALI digital dimmable
ballasts for 220-240 V 50-60 Hz nominal
supply voltages.
- V-DIM - with ballasts that allow for the
reduction of the LED luminous flux by
means of the luminaire supply voltage.
This type of regulation systems are
generally used to reduce the luminous
flux of street armatures with traditional
lamps in which the reduction of the
supply voltage results in the reduction of
the luminaire power and, consequently,
f the luminous flux of the lamp.
The V-DIM solution gives an immediate
answer to LED for installation in existing
installations of this type.

SECURE LIGHT DISTRIBUTION
Il sistema “Secure Light Distribution” garantisce
l’uniformità della distribuzione luminosa anche in caso di
inefficienza di qualche LED, senza creare fastidiose zone
d’ombra. L’ottica Reflex Comfort System è studiata con un
doppio sistema di deviazione, sviluppato in modo che la
luce emessa da ogni LED sia distribuita sull'intera area da
illuminare, creando così uno strato di luce.
La luce generata da un ATON LED è quindi la somma
degli strati di luce dei singoli LED con i quali è costituito.
SECURE LIGHT DISTRIBUTION
The “Secure Light Distribution” system guarantees a
uniform light distribution also in case of LED inefficiencies
without creating disturbing shadow areas. The Reflex
Comfort System optic has been designed with a double
deviation system and developed so that the light emitted
by each LED is distributed on the entire area to be illuminated, thus creating a layer of light.
Therefore, the light generated by ATON LED is the sum of
the layers of light of the individual LED mounted in the
luminaire.

OTTICA REFLEX COMFORT SYSTEM
L’ottica “Reflex Comfort System” utilizza un sistema di
deviazione della luce di ogni singolo LED che combina
rifrazione e riflessione.
Attraverso una particolare lente, la rifrazione della
luce consente di allargare visivamente la superficie
emittente del LED, favorendo un miglior comfort visivo,
perchè elimina l’emissione diretta e non controllata.
La lente indirizza poi la luce verso un riflettore
in alluminio ad altissime prestazioni e privo di
iridescenza, che la distribuisce sulla zona da illuminare
sovrapponendola a quella di tutti gli altri LED.

REFLEX COMFORT SYSTEM OPTIC
The “Reflex Comfort System” optic uses a deviation
system for the light produced by each single LED that
combines refraction and reflection.
Through a special lens the luminous refraction allows
for visually enlarging the emitting surface of the LED,
favouring a better visual comfort because it eliminates
any uncontrolled direct emission.
The lens directs the light towards a high-performing
iridescence-free aluminium reflector, which distributes
it in the space to be illuminated, overlapping the area
of all the other LED.

Apparecchio fornito con reattore magnetico bipotenza
e dispositivo di commutazione comandato da linea di
comando supplementare (comando pilota).
Il comando pilota, agendo sul dispositivo, commuta la
potenza di alimentazione della lampada dal 100% alla
potenza ridotta. In caso di black-out quando l’impianto
è regolato in potenza ridotta, per non danneggiare
le lampade, il dispositivo di commutazione assicura la
riaccensione della lampada sempre al 100% fino alla
stabilizzazione della stessa, per poi ritornare in potenza
ridotta.
Luminaire provided with bi-power magnetic ballast and
switch device controlled from additional command line
(pilot command).
By intervening on the device, the pilot command
switches the power supply of the lamp from 100% to the
reduced power value. In case of a power failure, when
the installation is set at reduced power, the switch device
always guarantees the re-switch of the lamp at 100%
until stabilization is achieved, in order not to damage the
lamp, and then goes back to the reduced power.
SBP URBAN LIGHTING
This range has been developed for
discharge light sources with max. 250
W (high-pressure sodium lamps and
metal halide lamps).

Apparecchio fornito con reattore magnetico bipotenza

a convertitore automatico che permette di ridurre il
flusso luminoso senza impiegare cavi di comando.
Questa soluzione non necessita di cavi aggiuntivi,
pertanto è valida anche in impianti esistenti.
Se l’impianto è comandato da un interruttore
crepuscolare, il convertitore calcola automaticamente
la mezzanotte astrale (cioè il punto medio del periodo
di accensione) e proprio in funzione dei suoi tempi
di accensione e spegnimento programma anche la
commutazione a potenza ridotta.
Luminaire supplied with bi-power magnetic ballast
(CR versions), or with electronic ballast for 220/240 V
50/60 Hz voltage (ETRC versions) in combination with
automatic converter to reduce the luminous flux without
using control cables.
This solution does not need any additional cables and is
therefore feasible also for existing installations.
If the installation is controlled by a twilight switch, the
converter will automatically calculate the astral midnight

Tutte le versioni ATON LED ed ATON HID con ballast
elettronico sono realizzabili a richiesta complete
di SPD (Surge Protection Device) per una maggior
protezione dell’apparecchio contro improvvise sovratensioni provenienti dalla rete, fino ad un picco
di 10kV. I modelli con SPD sono disponibili solo
in Classe I. Si consiglia comunque di predisporre
sempre l’impianto con dispositivi SPD centralizzati
in grado di evitare sovratensioni pericolose. Questo
per una maggior protezione degli apparecchi e di
tutti i dispositivi elettronici collegati.
All ATON LED and ATON HID versions with electronic ballast can be supplied upon request with SPD
(Surge Protection Device) for higher protection
against sudden line surge from the network, up to
a peak value of 10kV. The models with SPD are only
available in Class I. However, it is recommended to
provide the installation with centralised SPD devices
in order to avoid dangerous surge and protect the
luminaires and the electronic devices connected

They are equipped with high energy performance
electronic ballast, suitable for 220÷240 V 50/60 Hz
nominal voltage and pre-programmed in order to
reduce the luminous flux by 50%: through the recognition of the astral midnight (e.g. midpoint of the
switch-on time) it activates the flux reduction for a
total of 8 hours (2 hours before and 6 hours after).

They are equipped with high energy performance
electronic ballast, suitable for 220÷240 V 50/60 Hz
nominal voltage and pre-programmed in order to
reduce the luminous flux by 50%: through the recognition of the astral midnight (e.g. midpoint of the
switch-on time) it activates the flux reduction for a
total of 8 hours (2 hours before and 6 hours after).
Other settings or versions with dimmable ballasts
are available upon request (see page 8 and 9).

Riduzione di potenza automatico
(solo per lampade sodio alta pressione e CPO-TW)
Apparecchio fornito con reattore magnetico bipotenza (versioni CR) oppure con alimentatore elettronico adatto per tensioni 220/240 V 50/60 Hz (versioni ETRC) abbinati con convertitore automatico
che permette la commutazione automatica in modo
da ridurre il flusso luminoso senza impiegare cavi
di comando. L’impiego di questi prodotti consente
l’installazione di una valida soluzione a riduzione di
potenza senza bisogno di cavi aggiuntivi, pertanto
valida anche in impianti esistenti.
Se l’impianto è comandato da interruttore crepuscolare, in funzione dell’accensione e dello spegnimento di esso, il convertitore automaticamente
calcola la mezzanotte (per mezzanotte si intende la
mezzanotte astrale cioè il punto medio del periodo
di accensione) in funzione della quale programma
la commutazione a potenza ridotta.
Automatic power reduction
(only for high-pressure sodium and CPO-TW lamps)
Luminaire provided with bi-power magnetic ballast
(CR versions) or with electronic ballast for 220/240
V 50/60 Hz voltage (ETRC versions) paired with
automatic converter that allows for automatic
switch in order to reduce the luminous flux without
using command cables. The use of these products
provides a good power-reduction solution without
the need for additional cables, also in existing
installations.
If the installation is controlled by a twilight switch,
according to its switch-on and switch-off, the
converter will automatically calculate the astral
midnight (e.g. midpoint of the switch-on time) and
programme the switch to reduce power according
to it.
Riduzione di potenza con comando pilota

Apparecchio fornito con reattore magnetico bipotenza e dispositivo di commutazione comandato da
linea di comando supplementare (comando pilota).
Il comando pilota, agendo sul dispositivo, commuta
la potenza di alimentazione della lampada dal
100% alla potenza ridotta. In caso di black-out
quando l’impianto è regolato in potenza ridotta,
per non danneggiare le lampade, il dispositivo di
commutazione assicura la riaccensione della lampada sempre al 100% fino alla stabilizzazione della
stessa per poi ritornare in potenza ridotta.
Power reduction with pilot command
(only for high-pressure sodium lamps)
Luminaire supplied with bi-power magnetic ballast
and switch device controlled with additional
command line (pilot command). The pilot command
switches the power supply of the lamp from 100%
to the reduced power value. In case of a power failure, when the installation is set at reduced power,
the switch device always guarantees the re-switch
of the lamp at 100% until stabilization, in order
not to damage the lamp, and then goes back to the
reduced power.
Upon request, all ATON HID models can be equipped with the aforementioned bi-power systems.

Riduzione di potenza automatico
(solo per lampade sodio alta pressione e CPO-TW)
Apparecchio fornito con reattore magnetico bipotenza (versioni CR) oppure con alimentatore elettronico adatto per tensioni 220/240 V 50/60 Hz (versioni ETRC) abbinati con convertitore automatico
che permette la commutazione automatica in modo
da ridurre il flusso luminoso senza impiegare cavi
di comando. L’impiego di questi prodotti consente
l’installazione di una valida soluzione a riduzione di
potenza senza bisogno di cavi aggiuntivi, pertanto
valida anche in impianti esistenti.
Se l’impianto è comandato da interruttore crepuscolare, in funzione dell’accensione e dello spegnimento di esso, il convertitore automaticamente
calcola la mezzanotte (per mezzanotte si intende la
mezzanotte astrale cioè il punto medio del periodo
di accensione) in funzione della quale programma
la commutazione a potenza ridotta.
Automatic power reduction
(only for high-pressure sodium and CPO-TW lamps)
Luminaire provided with bi-power magnetic
ballast (CR versions) or with electronic ballast for
220/240 V 50/60 Hz voltage (ETRC versions) paired
with automatic converter that allows for automatic
switch in order to reduce the luminous flux without
using command cables. The use of these products
provides a good power-reduction solution without
the need for additional cables, also in existing
installations.
If the installation is controlled by a twilight switch,
according to its switch-on and switch-off, the
converter will automatically calculate the astral
midnight (e.g. midpoint of the switch-on time) and
programme the switch to reduce power according
to it.

Apparecchio fornito con reattore magnetico bipotenza e dispositivo di commutazione comandato da
linea di comando supplementare (comando pilota).
Il comando pilota, agendo sul dispositivo, commuta
la potenza di alimentazione della lampada dal
100% alla potenza ridotta. In caso di black-out
quando l’impianto è regolato in potenza ridotta,
per non danneggiare le lampade, il dispositivo di
commutazione assicura la riaccensione della lampada sempre al 100% fino alla stabilizzazione della
stessa per poi ritornare in potenza ridotta.
Power reduction with pilot command
(only for high-pressure sodium lamps)
Luminaire supplied with bi-power magnetic ballast
and switch device controlled with additional
command line (pilot command). The pilot command
switches the power supply of the lamp from 100%
to the reduced power value. In case of a power failure, when the installation is set at reduced power,
the switch device always guarantees the re-switch
of the lamp at 100% until stabilization, in order
not to damage the lamp, and then goes back to the
reduced power.
Upon request, all ATON HID models can be equipped with the aforementioned bi-power systems.
