Formazione / Formation - For all the verbs that express
action;
the present of the verb “ avere” = to have + the past
participle of the verb.
For –ARE verbs, remove the –re and change it to -to
For –IRE verbs, remove the –re and change it to –to
•Ex Tu hai ascoltato la lezione - The verb is in the
perfect tense = passato prossimo
Look carefully, we have two part; the part 1.” hai” – it
is the present of the verb to have and the part 2.
“ascoltato” it is the past participle of the verb ascoltare.

The verb avere represent the form of the verb; the
past participle represent the meaning and the past
