LA STORIA DI PRO SUS
INIZIA NEL 1985 ...
dall’impegno di un piccolo gruppo di allevatori che,
partendo da due imprese locali dichiarate in stato
fallimentare, ha dato vita ad un’azienda solida e da
sempre in forte crescita. Le sue attività principali sono,
oggi come allora, la macellazione e la trasformazione
della carne suina di origine esclusivamente italiana, ma
ciò che caratterizza fortemente la Cooperativa sono la
mira costante alla qualità, la garanzia di filiera della
carne, il rispetto per la tradizione rurale e lo stretto
legame col territorio. Un’immagine che riassume
tradizione e futuro, qualità e storia. Oggi PRO SUS è
una Cooperativa Agricola di Produttori di Suini taglia il
traguardo dei suoi primi 30 anni di attività.
Ed il mercato non ha tardato a premiare questa politica
aziendale, tanto che oggi PRO SUS può vantare di
avere tra i suoi clienti alcuni dei più prestigiosi nomi
dell’industria salumiera italiana, oltre ad essersi inserita
nella grande distribuzione ed essere riuscita ad entrare
in alcuni mercati esteri ed extra-europei. Oggi PRO SUS
è una cooperativa completa pronta ad affrontare le sfide
moderne. Questa è la nostra storia, la storia dei nostri
primi 30 anni di attività su un territorio dove la carne
di suino è tradizione, passione, arte e cultura.

PRO SUS’ history began in 1985...
from the determination of a small group of farmers in relaunching
two local companies that went bankrupt. Their efforts gave birth
to a healthy Company, steadily growing. Its main activities are,
today as 30 years ago, slaughtering of pigs only of Italian origin
and then processing of pork meat. But what best describes the
Company are the unceasing aim to reach the higher quality,
the warranty of the meat traceability, the respect for the
rural tradition and a strong bond to the territory. A picture
that resumes tradition and future, quality and history. Today
PRO SUS is an Agricultural Cooperative of pigs Producers that
crosses the line of its first 30 years of activity. And the markets
have not been late to reward the company policy, so that today
PRO SUS can be proud of having among its customers the most
important brands of salami and cold cuts industry. Moreover,
in the last years PRO SUS’ products have entered regularly in
supermarket chains and in foreign and international markets.
Today, PRO SUS is a complete Cooperative, ready to face the
modern challenges. This is our story, the story of our first 30
years of activity on a territory where the pork is tradition,
passion, art and culture.

PRO SUS da sempre fa della macellazione e lavorazione
della carne suina di origine italiana la propria attività
principale. Ciò che la distingue in questo settore è la
tracciabilità della filiera dall’allevamento al prodotto
finale: nell’impianto di Vescovato (CR) vengono
macellati solo suini italiani che rientrano nei circuiti
D.O.P Parma e San Daniele.
Questa garanzia di origine 100% italiana è il grande
valore aggiunto dei prodotti a marchio PRO SUS, al quale
si unisce la volontà di creare un proprio disciplinare di
produzione sottoscritto dai soci allevatori: un cammino
intrapreso di recente proprio per mettere sempre più
al centro la qualità della carne del suino PRO SUS.
La massima qualità per il consumatore finale, senza
perdere di vista i bisogni dei soci e dei dipendenti, nel
più grande rispetto per l’ambiente.
Slaughtering and processing of pork meat has always been PRO
SUS’ core business since from the beginning.
What is peculiar in its activity is the whole traceability of the
meat from the farm to the final product: in the plant of Vescovato
(CR) are slaughtered only Italian pigs belonging to the D.O.P.
Parma and San Daniele circuits.
This guarantee of 100% Italian origin is the greatest added
value of the PRO SUS brand products, to which is summed the
aim at creating its own production protocol, subscribed by the
members: a path recently taken just in order to focus more and
more on the quality of PRO SUS pork.
The higher quality for the consumer, without losing sight of the
members’ and workers’ needs, with the higher respect for the
environment.
