Intro
Choose. Change. Combine.
Per il secondo anno consecutivo la Città di Castelleone sceglie di partecipare ad un
evento di carattere europeo inerente il tema della mobilità sostenibile. Lo scorso anno
l’europea mobilità week è stata dirompente, apprezzata ed utilissima sia per il numero di
utenti coinvolti, sia per le sinergie create. Il fine? Dare un esempio tangibile di come
potrebbe cambiare la mobilità a Castelleone.
L’adesione alla Settimana europea della mobilità, assieme alla Città di Crema, grazie al
coordinamento del FIAB Cremasco, vuole dimostrare come sia possibile combinare le
forze, al fine di rendere le città più piacevoli e vivibili, creando una migliore qualità della
vita per tutti gli abitanti.
Quest’anno il tema scelto dall’Europa è “Choose. Change. Combine.”. La settimana
europea si terrà come di consueto dal 16 al 22 settembre prossimi e l’idea di fondo è
quella di incoraggiare i cittadini europei ad un ripensamento della gamma di opzioni di
trasporto disponibili, scegliendo il modo giusto per spostarsi ed invitandoli a combinare
tra loro differenti mezzi di trasporto, adottando quindi quelle soluzioni che possano
comportare risparmi di tempo e di denaro negli spostamenti urbani. Il tema è molto
difficile per una realtà come Castelleone, ma non ci siamo arresi; abbiamo ripensato al
termine “combinare” come una serie di eventi negli eventi organizzati in combine,
appunto, con Associazioni, altre amministrazioni, dal tema diverso ma legato in qualche
modo agli spostamenti sostenibili.
Fiore all’occhiello di quest’anno è il progetto BiciComune, nato lo scorso anno dallo
sviluppo di buone idee con il FIAB Cremasco, prevede un riuso delle biciclette stipate
nei magazzini comunali, opportunamente sistemate e rese fruibili dagli Amici della
Bicicletta, da parte dei dipendenti comunali per spostamenti urbani sostenibili.
La Città di Castelleone ha aderito pienamente al programma europeo in tutte e tre le sue
azioni cardine:
. Organizzare una settimana di eventi dal 16 al 22 settembre
. Instaurare una misura permanente o un progetto realizzabile sulla mobilità dolce
. Chiudere al traffico motorizzato una parte della Città nella giornata del 22 settembre
di seguito si riporta il calendario delle attività della Città di Castelleone che hanno visto il
coinvolgimento diretto della Polizia Locale, delle Botteghe di Castelleone, della Pro
Loco, dell’Oratorio Castelleone, delle Associazioni Il Borgo e Late oltre a diverse altre
Associazioni che hanno aderito entusiasticamente al progetto, consapevoli che assieme
si può far molto per la nostra Città più vivibile per tutti.
La nostra strada, la nostra scelta. Non mancate.

Intro
Choose. Change. Combine.
For the second consecutive year the town of Castelleone has decided to take part in an
European event regarding sustainable mobility. Last year the European Mobility Week
has been a real success, truly appreciated and very useful either for the number of
participants or for the sinergies which came out from it. The purpose? Give a tangible
expample of how mobility could change and improve in Castelleone.
The attendance to the European mobility week with the town of Crema, also thanks to
the coordination of Crema FIAB, is meant to show how it can be possibile to combine
our energies in order to make the towns more pleasant and liveable, improving the
quality of life of their inhabitants.
This year the theme chosen by Europe is “Choose. Change. Combine”. The European
week will take place as usual from Semptember 16th to 22nd and the main purpose
consists in encouraging European citizens to reconsider the broad range of transport
forms available, chosing the best and right way to move. People are firmly encouraged
to adopt those solutions which can bring saving of money and time in urban transfers.
This theme is really difficult for a town like Castelleone, but we didn’t want to give up; we
reconsidered the verb “to combine” as a series of events in the events planned, in fact,
in “combine” with various Associations, with other local administrations, which might
have a different theme but which are tied up in the end to sustainable transfers.
Today our best project is BiciComune, started last year through the development of
good ideas with Crema Fiab. It consists in the reuse of the bicycles which were just kept
in town stores, conveniently repaired and made available by the “Amici della Bicicletta”,
by the town employees for their urban sustainable transfers.
The town of Castelleone has fully agreed with the European program, whose main focal
themes consist in :
- organizing a week of events, from September 16th to 22nd
- taking permanent measures or study a feasible project about soft mobility
- closing part of the town (on September 22nd) to the motorized traffic Here attached the event schedule for the town of Castellone, organized by the county
police, the Botteghe di Castelleone, the Pro Loco, the Oratorio of Castelleone, by Il
Borgo e Late Associations. All of them are enthusiastically participating to this project,
well aware that if we join our forces, much can be done to make our town more and
more liveable for everybody.
Our street, our choice.

Per tutta la settimana le Botteghe di Castelleone, grazie alla disponibilità dei curatori del Museo dei Velocipedi
e delle Biciclette Antiche, collezione privata di A. & C. Azzini, ospiteranno la storia della bicicletta, allestendo le
vetrine a tema e sfidandosi per contendersi la miglior interpretazione.
For all week the Botteghe di Castelleone, thanks to the availability of the administrators of the Museum of
Velocipedi and Antique Bicycles, a private collection of A. & C. Azzini, will host the “story of the bicycle”, by
fitting their shop windows with the bikes and competing with each other.

Statistical survey of the cyclists circulating in the town of Castelleone, in four strategical locations of the town :

Regione Lombardia. The survey will be carried out by young persons of the Oratorio of Castelleone.

dove i nuovi maggiorenni incontreranno le associazioni di volontariato del territorio, riceveranno la costituzione
ed il codice della strada. Una vera festa di compleanno con Silent Party finale!
The mobility week hosts the debut into society of the 18 years old inhabitants of Castelleone. An event into the
event where the 18 years old boys and girls can meet the voluntary associations of the territory, will receive the
Constitution and the street code. A real birthday celebration with a final great party!

Se vieni a fare shopping a Castelleone in bicicletta in prossimità del Torrazzo ed alla sede della Pro Loco in via
Roma ti verrà rilasciata, dai volontari dell’Associazione Late, una tessera per ritirare durante il tuo shopping
biglietti per partecipare ad un’estrazione finale di ricchi premi. Durante la giornata i fotografi del Fotoclub Elio
Fornasa immortaleranno i ciclisti, immagini che verranno proiettate in anteprima domenica sera prima della
proiezione del film presso il Cinema Giovanni Paolo II e da lunedì presso l’ingresso del comune. Una mostra
verrà allestita nel foyer del Teatro Leone martedì sera.
If you come shopping by bike to Castelleone, near the Torrazzo and at the Pro Loco (Via Roma) you will receive
a card from the volunteers of Late Association which can be used during your shopping to get lottery tickets
with rich final prizes. During the day some photographers of Elio Fornasa Fotoclub will take photos of the
cyclists, which will be showed in advance on Sunday evening, right before the movie at the Cinema Giovanni
Paolo II and from Monday on at the entrance of the town hall. The photos exhibition will be held in the foyer of
Leone Theatre on Tuesday evening.

The BiciComune project is really getting going. Delivery of the first bicycles repaired by the famous cycle
workshop Dagalole thanks to Crema Fiab, to municipal employees who will be using them for their sustainable
transfers in the towns. All this according to the agreement made by the towns of Castelleone and FIAB
Cremasco.

BiciSociali. Un progetto del Comune di Castelleone che dona 5 biciclette rinvenute e stipate nei magazzini
comunali alla Cooperativa Ergoterapeutica Artigianale di Crema, prima cooperativa sociale di inserimento
lavorativo di persone svantaggiate, con handicap fisici e psichici, sorta nel cremasco.
BiciSociali is a project of the Comune of Castelleone, consisting in donating 5 bicycles (found and kept for
long time in the municipal stores) to the Cooperativa Ergoterapeutica Artigianale di Crema, the first social
cooperative constituted in Crema area which is dealing with the working integration of disadvantaged people
with physical and mental handicaps.

Si parte in bicicletta dalla Piazza del Comune verso Santa Maria in Bressanoro, la magnifica chiesa dedicata
alla Vergine ed alla scoperta del suo territorio. In questa occasione, grazie alla preziosa disponibilità e
collaborazione della dott.ssa Anna Emilia Galeotti Vertua, sarà possibile vedere anche i preziosi affreschi
dedicati ai martiri della fede e a S. Francesco, custoditi nell’agriturismo Santa Maria in Bressanoro in uno
spazio attiguo alla chiesa.
Departure by bike from Piazza del Comune towards Santa Maria in Bressanoro (the beautiful church
consecrated to the Virgin) and to the discovery of its territory. In this occasion, thanks to the precious
availability and collaboration of Doctor Anna Emilia Galeotti Vertua, it will be possibile to admire the magnificent
affrescoes dedicated to the martyrs and to Saint Francesco, which are nowadays kept in the agritourism Santa
Maria in Bressanoro, in a room just beside the church.

verranno organizzate le “Lezioni in Città” con la presenza dell’Istituto Scolastico Sentati che ascolterà le lezioni
della Polizia Locale, sulla sicurezza stradale con le due ruote.
In Piazza del Comune, closed to motorized vehicles during the European day “in town without my car”, the
event “lessons in town” will take place. Students of the Istituto Scolastico Sentati will listen to the lessons
taught by the County Police, concerning road safety regulations on two wheels.
