After her studies she worked as an online editor for ARTE, the french-german television station, in Strasbourg and Südwestrundfunk, german federal broadcasting station, in Baden-Baden. In 1999 she moved to ARD.de, the online portal of the german association of public broadcasters in Mainz, where she was providing assistance in development of a completely new journalistic website. During several years she worked as department manager culture and deputy managing editor. Furthermore she was responsible project manager for several journalistic online specials. In 2008 she was awarded with the Austrian State Prize for Multimedia for the online special of the ARD theme week „More Time for Living – Opportunities of an Ageing Society“. Since 2011 she has been holding the positions of managing editor and leader of the editorial team of ARD.de.
