Per realizzare la configurazione del sistema By-me mediante l’applicativo
EasyTool Professional, è necessario effettuare alcuni collegamenti che
permettono al PC dove è installato il software, di interpretare e/o inviare i
messaggi al bus dell’impianto By-me.
I dispositivi ausiliari necessari per la connessione del sistema al computer
dove è installato l’applicativo EasyTool Professional sono i seguenti:
- Presa RJ11 speciale per BUS (Eikon 20329, Idea 16339, Plana 14329).
- Interfaccia 01847 per il collegamento del BUS, da presa RJ11 speciale, al
PC su porta USB (il prodotto è fornito a corredo nell’imballo dell’art. 01994).
To configure the By-me system using the EasyTool Professional application, it is necessary to make a number of connections that allow the computer where the software is installed to interpret and/or send messages
to the By-me system bus.

Il dispositivo consente la lettura e scrittura dei dati sul bus attraverso i quali
vengono effettuate tutte le operazioni di configurazione, programmazione,
diagnostica, manutenzione e monitoraggio del sistema By-me.
L’interfaccia deve essere connessa ad un PC provvisto dell’applicativo
EasyTool Professional (fornito) e alla presa speciale per bus (Eikon 20329,
Idea 16339, Plana 14329).
The device allows reading and writing of data on the bus, which are used
to carry out all configuration, programming, diagnostics, maintenance and
monitoring operations on the By-me system.
The interface should be connected to a computer installed with the
EasyTool Professional application (supplied) and to the special jack for the
bus (Eikon 20329, Idea 16339, Plana 14329).

CONNEXIONS À EFFECTUER POUR LA GESTION DU
SYSTÈME BY-ME AU MOYEN DE L’APPLICATIF EASYTOOL
PROFESSIONAL.
Pour réaliser la configuration du système By-me au moyen de l’applicatif
EasyTool Professional, il est nécessaire d’effectuer certaines connexions
qui permettent au PC, lorsque le logiciel est installé, d’interpréter et/ou
d’envoyer les messages au bus du système By-me.
Les dispositifs auxiliaires nécessaires pour la connexion du système à
l’ordinateur sur lequel est installé l’applicatif EasyTool Professional sont
les suivants :
- Prise RJ11 spéciale pour BUS (Eikon 20329, Idea 16339, Plana 14329).
- Interface 01847 pour la connexion du BUS, par prise RJ11 spéciale, au
PC sur port USB (le produit est fourni dans l’emballage de l’art. 01994).

Le dispositif permet de lire et d’écrire des données sur le bus au moyen

Guida rapida per la corretta installazione dell’applicativo EasyTool Professional per la configurazione del sistema By-me.
Requisiti minimi.
Per l’installazione e l’attivazione dell’applicativo è necessario disporre di quanto segue:
• Art. 01994 - Software EasyTool Professional per il sistema By-me, completo di interfaccia per il collegamento del BUS, da presa RJ11 speciale ad un PC su porta USB
• Art. 20329 (oppure 16339 o 14329) - Presa RJ11 speciale per il BUS.
• PC dotato di sistema operativo Windows® 2000, Windows® XP, Windows® Vista®, Windows® 7; può essere installato sia su sitemi a 32 bit che a 64 bit. il PC deve inoltre essere provvisto di una porta USB per l’interfaccia 01847, di una seconda porta USB per la chiave hardware e di una terza porta USB (opzionale) per collegare l’interfaccia 01998.U.
• Chiave Hardware.
• Impianto nel quale sono installate una o più Centrali By-me da incasso (artt. 21550 - 20550 - 14550 + art. 01960) o da parete (artt. 01950 o 01951 o 01952 o 01956 o
01958) dotate di versione firmware 2.0 o successive; qualora si disponga di una centrale con versioni precedenti a 2.0 è necessario effettuare l’aggiornamento.
• Codice Package che si trova all’interno dell’imballo dell’art. 01994 necessario per ottenere il Codice di attivazione a seguito della registrazione dei dati anagrafici dell’installatore e dell’utente finale.
Punto 1.
Una volta che il sistema By-me è stato installato, predisporre la presa RJ11 speciale per il BUS in prossimità della posizione dove verrà connesso il PC con EasyTool Professional e collegarla alla stessa linea alla quale è connessa la centrale; nel caso in cui sia presente anche il sistema antintrusione la presa RJ11 dovrà essere collegata alla Linea 00 (Area 0 - Linea 0).
Punto 2.
La presa RJ11 è provvista di 4 contatti “+” e “-” dei quali è sufficiente collegarne solamente due al bus; ossia:

Punto 3.
Per attivare tutte le funzionalità è necessario:
• Installare i relativi driver della chiave hardware presenti sul CD ed inserirla in una porta USB dedicata.
Attenzione: per accedere alle funzioni di configurazione, la chiave deve rimanere costantemente inserita nella porta USB durante l’esecuzione del software.
• Avviare EasyTool Professional.
• Per abilitare le funzioni di configurazione, collegare l’interfaccia 01847 al PC ed attivare la funzione Abilita/Disabilita bus dal menu Gestione di EasyTool Professional o
cliccare sull’icona Online; attendere che l’icona diventi verde. Qualora invece l’icona diventi gialla significa che l’interfaccia 01847 è collegata al PC ma non al BUS.
• Tutte le operazioni di configurazione del sistema By-me devono sempre essere effettuate senza che nessuna centrale sia collegata al bus.
Punto 4.
Al primo avvio viene visualizzata la finestra principale nella quale non è ancora stato definito nessun impianto.
Sono presenti i seguenti menu:
1. File: contiene tutte le funzionalità principali del programma, inclusa la creazione, apertura, esportazione ed importazione degli impianti;
2. Modifica: contiene la gestione della modalità di visualizzazione dell’impianto e le usuali funzionalità di modifica;
3. Organizza: contiene le funzionalità per aggiungere le informazioni topologiche dell’impianto;
4. Configura: contiene le funzionalità per la creazione dei dispositivi dell’impianto;
5. Gestione: contiene le funzionalità di gestione del BUS;
6. Strumenti: contiene il menù di selezione delle porte COM, il catalogo dispositivi e il menù di attivazione;
7. Aiuto: help in linea;
8. Windows: permette di ripristinare la finestra dell’Explorer Tree View, nel caso in cui venga erroneamente chiusa.
In fondo sulla destra è presente un’icona che indica se l’applicativo è online
; se tale icona è rossa il software non accede al BUS.
Punto 5.
Per autenticare il software è necessario attivare la chiave di sblocco USB Vimar:
a) Collegarsi al sito www.vimar.eu nella sezione Software -> Software di prodotto -> EasyTool Professional e inserire il codice package; viene generato un nuovo codice
denominato activation code;
b) Copiare l’activation code nella finestra di Autenticazione, dal menu Strumenti, e premere il pulsante Autentica.
Punto 6.
Riavviare il sistema (operazione consigliata).

Minimum requirements.
To install and activate the program it is necessary to have the following:
• Art. 01994 - EasyTool Professional Software for the By-me system, complete with interface for connecting the BUS from a special RJ11 jack to a computer via USB port
• Art. 20329 (or 16339 or 14329) - Special RJ11 jack for the BUS.
• Computer equipped with Windows® 2000, Windows® XP, Windows® Vista®, Windows® 7 operating system; it can be installed on both 32-bit and 64-bit systems. The
computer must also be fitted with a USB port for interface 01847, a second USB port for the hardware key and a third USB port (optional) for connecting interface 01998.U.
• Hardware key.
• System in which are installed one or more By-me flush mounting control panels (art. 21550 - 20550 - 14550 + art. 01960) or surface mounting control panels (art. 01950 or 01951 or
01952 or 01956 or 01958) equipped with firmware release 2.0 or later; if you have a control panel with a release prior to 2.0 it needs to be updated.
• Package Code inside the packing of art. 01994, necessary to obtain the activation code after recording the data of the installer and end user.
Step 1
Once the By-me system has been installed, arrange the special RJ11 jack for the BUS near to the position where the computer will be connected with EasyTool Professional and connect it to the same line to which the control panel is connected; if there is also an intrusion detection alarm system, the RJ11 jack must be connected to Line 00 (Area 0 - Line 0).
Step 2.
The RJ11 jack is equipped with 4 “+” and “-” contacts of which only two need to be connected to the bus; namely:

Step 3.
To activate all of the functionalities you need to:
• Install the drivers for the hardware key, which are contained on the CD, and insert the key into the dedicated USB port.
Warning: to access the configuration functions, the key must remain constantly inserted in the USB while the software is running.
• Start EasyTool Professional.
• To enable the configuration functions, connect interface 01847 to the computer and activate the Enable/Disable bus function from the Management menu of EasyTool
Professional, or click on the Online icon; wait for the icon to turn green. However if the icon becomes yellow this means that interface 01847 is connected to the computer
but not to the BUS.
• All configuration operations on the By-me system must always be carried out without any control panel being connected to the bus.
Step 4.
At first start-up the main window is displayed, in which no devices have yet been defined.
The following menus are present:
1. File: contains all of the main program functions, including create, open, export and import systems;
2. Edit: contains functions for managing how the system is displayed, as well as the usual edit functions;
3. Organize: contains functions for adding the system’s topological information;
4. Configure: contains functions for creating devices in the system;
5. Maintenance: contains functions for managing the BUS;
6. Tools: contains the menu for selecting the COM ports, the devices catalogue and the activation menu;
7. Help: online help;
8. Windows: restores the Explorer Tree View window, in the event that it is closed accidentally.
At the bottom right there is an icon that indicates whether the application is online; if this icon
is red the software cannot connect to the BUS.
Step 5.
To authenticate the software you need to activate the Vimar USB release key:
a) Go to the www.vimar.eu website, click on the section Software -> Product software -> EasyTool Professional and insert the package code; a new code named activation
code will be generated;
b) Copy the activation code in the Authentication window, from the Tools menu, and press Authenticate.

Restart the system (recommended).

Pour l’installation et l’activation de l’applicatif, il est nécessaire de disposer des éléments suivants :

• PC équipé de système d’exploitation Windows® 2000, Windows® XP, Windows® Vista®, Windows® 7 ; peut être installé tant sur systèmes à 32 bit qu’à 64 bit. En
outre, le PC doit être équipé d’un port USB pour l’interface 01847, d’un second port USB pour la clé matérielle et d’un troisième port USB (option) pour relier l’interface
01998.U.
• Clé Matérielle.
• Installation dans laquelle sont montées une ou plusieurs centrales By-me à encastrer (art. 21550 - 20550 - 14550 + art. 01960) ou en saillie (art. 01950 ou 01951 ou 01952 ou 01956 ou
01958), équipées de version firmware 2.0 ou suivantes ; si l’on dispose d’une centrale avec versions antécédentes à 2.0, il est nécessaire d’effectuer la mise à jour.
• Code Package qui se trouve à l’intérieur de l’emballage de l’art. 01994 nécessaire pour obtenir le Code d’activation à la suite de l’enregistrement des données personnelles de l’installateur et de l’utilisateur final.
Point 1.
Une fois que le système By-me a été installé, prédisposer la prise RJ11 spéciale pour le BUS à proximité de la position où sera relié le PC avec EasyTool Professional et la
connecter à la ligne à laquelle est reliée la centrale ; si le système anti-intrusion est également présent, la prise RJ11 devra être reliée à la Ligne 00 (Zone 0 - Ligne 0).
Point 2.
La prise RJ11 est équipée de 4 contacts “+” et “-” ; il suffit d’en relier deux au bus soit:

Point 3.
Pour activer toutes les fonctions, il est nécessaire :
• D’installer les drivers correspondants de la clé matérielle présents sur le CD et de l’introduire dans un port USB.
Attention: pour accéder aux fonctions de configuration, la clé doit rester constamment insérée dans le port USB durant l’exécution du logiciel.
• Lancer EasyTool Professional.
• Pour valider les fonctions de configuration, relier l’interface 01847 au PC et activer la fonction Valider/Invalider bus depuis le menu Gestion de EasyTool Professional ou
cliquer sur l’icône Online; attendre que l’icône devienne verte. Au contraire, si l’icône devient jaune, cela signifie que l’interface 01847 est reliée au PC mais non au BUS.
• Toutes les opérations de configuration du système By-me doivent toujours être effectuées sans qu’aucune centrale soit reliée au bus.
Point 4.
À la première mise en marche, la fenêtre principale est affichée dans laquelle aucune installation n’a encore été définie.
Les menus suivants sont présents:
1. Fichier: contient toutes les principales fonctions du programme, y compris la création, ouverture, exportation et importation des installations;
2. Modifier: contient la gestion du mode de visualisation de l’installation et les fonctions habituelles de modification;
3. Organiser: contient les fonctions pour ajouter les informations topologiques de l’installation;
4. Configurer: contient les fonctions pour la création des dispositifs de l’installation;
5. Gestion: contient les fonctions de gestion du BUS;
6. Outils: contient le menu de sélection des ports COM, le catalogue dispositifs et le menu d’activation;
7. Help: aide en ligne;
8. Windows: permet de rétablir la fenêtre de l’Explorer Tree View, si elle a été fermée par erreur.
Une icône indiquant que l’applicatif est en ligne est présente en bas à droite
; si elle est rouge, le logiciel n’accède pas au BUS.
Point 5.
Pour authentifier le logiciel, il est nécessaire d’activer la clé de déblocage USB Vimar :
a) Se connecter au site www.vimar.eu à la section Logiciel -> Logiciel de produit -> EasyTool Professional et insérer le code package ; un nouveau code dénommé activation code est créé ;
b) Copier l’activation code dans la fenêtre d’Authentification, depuis le menu Outils, et appuyer sur le poussoir Authentifier.
Point 6.
Redémarrer le système (opération conseillée).
