Structure of the Qualification
QCF Level 1 Qualification
Candidates should study the themes in BOTH section A AND section B. Grammar and
structures required are included in this specification. It is expected that candidates will have
knowledge of the language content as defined in OLA Entry 2 and OLA Entry 3.
Assessment will be performed across Units 1-4. Each unit carries equal weighting.
Candidates must reach the required standard in all units in order to be awarded the Level 1
qualification.

Unit 4: Write simple texts
