The main topics include both medical and surgical retina diseases. Innovations in imaging, diagnostic techniques and different treatment approaches will be the focus of the discussion. Scientific program comprises plenary sessions with debates and panel discussions, delegates from all over the world will be involved in the meeting with televoting system. On Friday and Saturday morning, during live surgery from University Hospital of Florence, the surgeons will show new surgical techniques, new machines as well as how to operate them to achieve the best results both in routine and complicated retina surgery cases. We are hoping for a truly international meeting without a local connotation. On the other hand Florence, which is considered the birthplace of the Renaissance, the cradle of artists, scientists and inventors, represents an ideal framework for an all over the world knowledge sharing.
