Furthermore, during two round tables there will be the opportunity to debate their possible future technological developments and to discuss the need of establishing common “on site monitoring” recommended protocols (parameters, devices, time steps etc.) and to propose the creation of relevant data treatment infrastructures in order to link historic surfaces data to geographical positioning and climatic conditions of the monitored structure. The audience is targeted at: conservation professionals, public and private institutions dealing with the conservation (care and maintenance) of monumental heritage such as: - restorers and conservators, curators, art historians, architects, archaeologists, diagnostic consultants and conservation managers - and scientists, including chemists, engineers, physicists, geologists, metallurgists, mineralogists and microbiologists. The Workshop is organised with the support of CERR (Centro Europeo di Ricerca sulla Conservazione e il Restauro, Siena, Italy) and the EuArtech project, endorsed by the WG1 of the Focus Area Cultural Heritage (FACH) of the European Construction Technological Platform (ECTP), and the WG3 of the CEN TC 346.
