Riccardo Vitanza was born in Massaua (Eritrea) in 1965, on October 8th. He started showing a great passion
for press and media since his early years. In 1987 he began his working experience in the communication
field as copywriter in an advertising agency (Publicor). In 1988 he started working in the show business as
author for lyrics, editor of a magazine and press agent for the first afro-latin club in Italy (Zimba). Two years
later, in 1990, after the decision to take up his freelance career and to specialize in press office for the
music business, he founded his own company PAROLE & DINTORNI. He started working on the
communication of many clubs and concerts in Milan, as well as albums, tours, musical events and more,
and he also started being the press agent for several artist. 1997 was a very important year for Riccardo
Vitanza: he began representing Jovanotti, Pino Daniele and Giorgia; in the same year PAROLE & DINTORNI
became a SRL, the team got bigger and the first office location became a bit tight…and the rest is history!
Since 2001 Riccardo Vitanza has been a teacher of Press Office for the Master of Discography and Media
Music Communication at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan.
With BOLLETTINO EDIZIONI MUSICALI Srl, his production society and musical editions, he is the executive
producer and editor of the composer and pianist Giovanni Allevi, the guitarist Roberto Fabbri, Giulio
Casale, Giulia Mazzoni, Ylenia Lucisano, Lorenzo Materazzo, Daniele Ronda, Roberto Binetti and others.
