Company Overview
Siem ltd has been working for almost 30 years in the plant engineering industry; every day it deals with electrical and
electromechanical plants’ design. Moreover, the company manages projects in every single phase up to systems’ installation,
setup and maintenance.
Since its setting up in 1976, Siem has been specializing in four main sectors: airport facilities, public and private
facilities, health facilities and renewable energies systems. The company cooperates with both public and private
organizations; for this reason it can be considered a valid landmark in the field of consulting, design, installation and setup of
plants.
Siem’s factory covers a total surface area of 2,450 square feet split in 2 buildings. The offices are equipped with a
corporate intranet and a cutting-edge management software that facilitates communications and allows company to provide
rapid responses to customers and suppliers.
In accordance with corporate ethics, strongly anchored to a civil and social responsibility, the company cares about health and
safety at work.

Siem ltd headquarters are located in Via Achille Grandi n.14 in Ancona, the chief town of the Marche Region, on the
Italian Adriatic Coast. In this office there are several business units, such as management, accounting, planning and trading. In
addition, the building houses some testing laboratories and the warehouse for raw materials and semi-finished products.
For what concerns the technical office, Siem’s team consists of graduates and well-experienced engineers in the field of
design and project execution. They are specialized in electrical systems activities, in every other task related with them, and in
everything necessary to a more focused realization of the project.
Therefore, its structure is able to support customers with surveys and preliminary meetings in order to define plant
needs.
Professionals work in a mechanic workshop equipped with special tools and finished products such as carpentry and
electrical distribution and automation. In testing laboratories, equipment’s servicing and maintenance are performed; testing
activities are carried out on the electrical panels produced in the workshop.
The warehouse layout is well-articulated and designed to store all types of materials needed for the ordinary activities
of the company in order to receive incoming goods and redistribute them among the various work orders. There are special
areas for the storage of specific materials or hazardous waste. Tools and equipment are stored in dedicated areas and easily
identifiable.
Lastly, the continuous training of human resources and the constant improvement of facilities and equipment are an
important asset in the company's policy, aimed at quality development.

S.I.E.M has been operating in the airport facilities industry for over 30 years. The company has worked all over the country on
behalf of public national bodies and PLCs, creating works that range from building new plants and expansions, functional
improvements and adjustments to the reference standards (ICAO Annex 14, ENAC Regulations and any applicable standards).
