Appearances may not be everything, but it certainly has its importance, especially talking about women’s prêt-à-porter: the doors of MIPAP will open on a new, electrifying edition and the exhibition is preparing to welcome old friends and new faces among exhibitors and visitors. The stands are becoming increasingly minimalist, with raw iron structures designed to highlight the collections, while the suspended lights along beams create a guaranteed dramatic effect. A recognised name on the Italian market as well as on the international scene, MIPAP never ceases to surprise and renew itself. Like never before, it has been confirmed a format that can become a source of inspiration for its style around the world, thanks to a careful selection of the participating brands and a strategy shaped on a single language: business. MIPAP opens the doors to a new season, designed for women’s prêt-à-porter fashion, on the wake of the more than positive results reported in February 2015. MIPAP hosted a total of 4,065 buyers, 22% of which from foreign countries such as Spain, Great Britain, Switzerland, the US, Canada, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, China and Japan.
