Ocean è la nuova nata dall’esplosione creativa di Hans Thyge
Raunkjaer: il design è estremamente architettonico, seppur vibrando
di un'umana fisicità. La maniglia ha volume e solidità, e funziona
come una decisa impugnatura della bicicletta. Un solido e compatto
rubinetto, con una maniglia voluminosa che emerge da una forma
essenziale.
Ocean is the new born design sprang from Hans Thyge Raunkjaer’s
creative outburst. The design is very architectonical, but still with
an organic touch.The handle has got volume and a solid touch,
working like a handle on a bicycle. A firm, solid tap with a voluminous
handle that grows out of the basic form.

Le forme prendono ispirazione dalla struttura
umana: la maniglia rappresenta la spalla e il retro
sinuoso si traspone sul collo della canna, formando
una serie di morbide curve che lottano contro
pungenti spigoli.
Shapes take inspiration from human structure: the
handle represents the shoulder, and the back of
the tap can be transposed over the neck of the
tap, thus creating a series of smooth curves, which
struggle against the rough edges.

Il sistema murale è molto innovativo nel suo genere: si
suddivide in moduli di egual forma che ripetendosi sulla
parete compongono meravigliosi ed infiniti motivi. Il modulo
è fissato al muro con viti che danno una sensazione incisiva
e hi-tech sulla superficie inossidabile dell'acciaio.
The built in wall system is very innovative in its genre: it
is split up in modules that have the same basic plate,
therefore the repetition forms beautiful patterns on the
wall. The plate is fixed onto the wall with nice visible
screws that gives a rough and high tech feeling together
with the beautiful stainless surface.

La serie è disponibile con la maniglia di colore bianco e nero. E’
realizzata in POM (poliossimetilene), più conosciuto come resina
acetalica. E’ un polimero cristallino ottenuto per polimerizzazione,
di relativamente recente scoperta (1960), ha però avuto una veloce
e larghissima diffusione per le ottime caratteristiche meccaniche e
la buona lavorabilità. E’ un materiale autolubrificante, resistente
all’usura e discretamente agli urti. Ha un’ottima stabilità dimensionale
e un’ottima resistenza ai solventi organici. Basso l’assorbimento di
umidità, si adatta perciò a lavorare in ambienti umidi a contatto
con l’acqua.

The handles in the Ocean products are available in two different
colours: black or white. They are made of POM (polyoxymethylene),
best known as acetyl resin. It is a crystalline polymer obtained from
the polymerization and its discovery its relatively recent (1960) but
has had a quick and vaste diffusion because of its great mechanical
characteristics and its good machinability. It’s a self-lubricating
material and resistant to erosion and shocks. It features a great
dimensional stability and resistance to organic solvents. It has a
low-absorption to humidity and water, so that it is the perfect
material to work in contact with water.
Disponibilità di tre diverse docce a mano e flessibile
coordinato: bianca (realizzata in ottone verniciato), nera
(realizzata in ottone verniciato) e in finitura acciaio inox
(realizzata in acciaio inossidabile).
Three different hand-shower and flexible hose versions:
white (in varnished brass), black (varnished brass) and
stainless steel look (stainless steel).
