FACTORY / STABILIMENTO
During 1983 a modern integrated plant was built in Italy at Levate (BG), in the middle of the MILANO-BRESCIABERGAMO industrial area.
In the following years LINCO BAXO has built up a reputation in the refractory market and new production units
were added to increase capacity up to 45.000 tons/year.
A sophisticated computerized system which monitors the production process was installed at the same time.
High quality materials, secured through its own Research and Development department, and international
qualifications allow LINCO BAXO to meet the highest standards of its domestic and foreign customers.
Today LINCO BAXO is a leading manufacturer of refractory monolithics, castables, gunning mixes, ramming mixes,
mouldables, concretes, cements in alumina, aluminosilicate, magnesia, silicon carbide, zirconia, chromite and
graphitics identified by product names Linco-Baxo-Kero. Production programme includes also blocks and other
shapes in high alumina and silicon carbide, identified by product names Licoblock-Licobrick-Milblock.
Nel 1983 una nuova e moderna unità produttiva venne realizzata in ITALIA a Levate (BG), nel triangolo industriale
MILANO-BERGAMO-BRESCIA.
Nel corso degli anni successivi, la realizzazione di nuove linee integrate di produzione automatizzate con i più
moderni e sofisticati sistemi di controllo qualità computerizzato ha consentito di incrementare la capacità produttiva
fino a 45.000 ton. annue.
L’ottima qualità dei materiali, assicurata dalla divisione Ricerca e Sviluppo, e le riconosciute qualifiche internazionali
consentono di soddisfare la numerosa clientela nazionale ed estera.
Attualmente LINCO BAXO è un rinomato produttore di refrattari monolitici, calcestruzzi, masse da gunitaggio, masse
semiplastiche da pestello, masse plastiche, cementi in qualità silico-alluminose, alluminose, superalluminose,
magnesiache, a base di carburo di silicio, zirconio, cromite e grafite.
I prodotti sono identificati dalle denominazioni Linco-Baxo-Kero. Vengono inoltre prodotti blocchi ed altri preformati
in alluminoso, carburo di silicio, identificati dalle denominazioni Lincoblock-Lincobrick-Milblock.

LINCO BAXO - ARCENE (I)
FACTORY / STABILIMENTO
Arcene factory is the main processing unit where bulk
minerals are pre-sized and stored prior to
manufacturing plants use.
As a matter of policy, Linco Baxo Group of Companies
buys minerals in very large shipments, which are then
processed to tightly controlled size fractions to suit
product formulas.
Sized materials are constantly transported to the
nearby north Italy plants by an in-house fleet of silotrucks.
Lo stabilimento di Arcene è l'unità ove vengono
preparate ed immagazzinate le materie prime per il
successivo invio alle fabbriche produttive.
La notevole capacità produttiva del gruppo Linco
Baxo consente l'acquisto di materie prime all'origine
ed in grandi volumi, che vengono poi classificate in
controllate frazioni granulometriche previste dalle
formulazioni.
I semilavorati vengono poi trasportati costantemente
dalla flotta aziendale di camion cisterna alle fabbriche
di produzione situate nel nord Italia.

FACTORY - STABILIMENTO
The factory is located at Bondeno (FE) on a total area
of 50.000 sqm, of which 28.000 are covered; it has an
annual ouput of 35.000 tons (15.000 tons of fired
shapes and 20.000 tons of unfired precast shapes
monolithics). Production programme includes
refractories and insulating tailored to:
Ceramic
Cordierite and mullite supports, batts, load carrying
slabs, saggars for firing oxides.
Glass
ASTM insulating bricks grade 23, 26, 28, 30 as well as
insulating MEGA SLABS (length up to 800 mm);
shapes for paling, available also as DD DOUBLE
DECKS SLABS (length up to 700 mm); insulating,
alumina, chrome-alumina and zircon shapes suitable
for hearth construction.
Cement and lime
Fired alumina shapes as well as chemically bonded
unfired shapes; insulating bricks
Bricks
Complete roof system for tunnel kiln; refractories for
sidewalls and kiln cars

Baxo GmbH is an expansive undertaking engaged in production of monolithic refractories, with
headquarters in Düsseldorf and a manufacturing plant at Bexbach/Germany; annual factory output is
20.000 ton/year.
The modern manufacturing facility was acquired in 1994 by Linco Baxo group of companies and
then integrated into Baxo GmbH; the end result of this combination is an enlarged product range and
improvement in international operations.
Production programme includes alumina based refractory monolithics Baxo, alumina and magnesia
based refractory monolithics Kero.

TEC REF is an expansive undertaking engaged in
production and distribution of refractories for glass,
ceramic, sanitaryware, frits producers and kiln
builders.
The company is a Joint-venture between experienced
managers and LINCO BAXO group of companies;
as member of a group with more than 50 years of
experience, in-house know-how is backed by
additional and substantial technical and financial
resources.
Production lines are organized as follows:
VIBRO-CASTING
Different sized shapes are manufactured by
vibrocasting special chemical bonded mixes in
moulds.
This process permits manufacture of complex and
large shapes weighing a few tons.
SLIP-CASTING
This process offers the capability to design and
precision-form the exact size of small shapes.
JOBS and CONSTRUCTIONS
Turn-key supply of forehearths and working-ends for
glass. Our supply includes engineering, control
equipments, refractories, steel case, border
forehearth equipments, combustion and cooling
system, in addition to erection, dry-up and start-up.

Linco Baxo group of companies production activity is located in 6
modern integrated plants.
Continuous investment in high-technology machinery enables our
plants to produce a large volume of high quality products at an
affordable price.
Production is oriented to refractory and insulating monolithics,
LINCO, BAXO and KERO range, and to bricks, shapes and special
blocks, MAREF, KERA, ISOM, CARBO, LICOBLOCK, CAR and
MILBLOCK range.
Production lines are organized as follows:

storage and production silos;

L’attività produttiva di Linco Baxo group of companies viene
svolta in 6 moderni stabilimenti.
Il continuo investimento in impianti dell’ultima generazione ha
portato la produzione ad un livello quantitativo e qualitativo
sempre più elevato, consentendo l’ottimizzazione della qualità e
la riduzione dei costi industriali a beneficio della competitività dei
prodotti.
La produzione delle fabbriche è impegnata per i prodotti refrattari
ed isolanti monolitici della linea LINCO, BAXO e KERO, nonchè i
mattoni, sagomati e blocchi speciali della linea MAREF, KERA,
ISOM, CARBO, LICOBLOCK, CAR e MILBLOCK.
Le linee produttive sono composte da:
- frantumazione, macinazione a secco, essicazione per ogni tipo
di materia prima;
- classificazione, vagliatura, trasporto pneumatico, a nastro delle
materie prime ai silos di stoccaggio e di produzione;
- estrazione, dosaggio;
- pesatura e miscelazione e gestione computerizzata,
- reparti pressatura con moderne presse oleodinamiche;
- reparti vibrazione con vibropresse di grande potenza;
- forni a tunnel ed intermittenti per la cottura;
- confezionamento e pallettizzazione automatica dei prodotti.

The engineering, jobs and construction team, which is backed by
the associated company ITE Industrial Techologies and
Engineering srl, may provide a full package of detailed
engineering either for linings and casings, inclusive of tailored heat
flow calculations, bills of materials, owner’s manual as well as
dedicated and high qualified supervision on site.
A in-house service of THERMOGRAPHY is provided by our
licensed technicians; this useful check allows to monitor the
heat transfer flow and then to forecast the expected lifetime
of the linings.

completa disposizione della clientela per un valido supporto
tecnico a tutti i problemi di muratura ed isolamento.
Il servizio fornito comprende l’esecuzione dei disegni, la
preparazione delle liste materiali occorrenti, lo sviluppo dei calcoli
termici e quanto altro necessario per la corretta esecuzione del
progetto inclusa la supervisione ai montaggi con tecnici altamente
qualificati.
Per ogni tipo di forno disponiamo di un servizio di
TERMOGRAFIA che consente, attraverso l’analisi dei flussi
termici, la determinazione dello stato dell’intero rivestimento
refrattario nonchè le aspettative di durata.

In addition to a complete range of products and services for
industrial furnace linings, LINCO BAXO group of companies can
provide erections at customer’s site.
The whole refractory lining will be then supplied on a “turn-key
job” basis.

A department, with experience in dismounting/ installing refractory
and insulating materials in heavy industries over the last 20 years.
Cost-efficiency, dedication to manual work and highly appreciated
precision characterizes this outstanding operation.
Support stuff provides inspections, evaluating each job
independently.
Field –Supervisors offer their practical know how in design and
construction of refractory linings, tailored to customers need.
Domestic and international contracts are managed in time,
whether on scheduled or emergency shutdowns, from material
disposal to manpower availability.
Skilled personnel, using modern installation equipment, work mainly
in the field of cement and lime industries, rolling mills, incineration,
power plants and aluminium Industries, with all common refractory
and/or insulating materials available.
Operiamo con una esperienza di oltre 20 anni nell’industria
pesante con montaggi ed installazione di materiali refrattari ed
isolanti; l’ottima organizzazione, l’impegno costante del personale
e la precisione dell’esecuzione sono caratteristiche fondamentali
ed apprezzate dalla numerosa clientela.
Ogni contratto è valutato indipendentemente da tecnici
specializzati, in grado di offrire ogni attività di supporto, ed è
condotto da supervisori con notevole esperienza tecnica e pratica
delle costruzioni refrattarie.
Le attivita di cantiere, eseguite in Italia ed all’estero, sono eseguite
nei tempi concordati con il cliente, spesso anche in situazioni di
interventi non programmati; pertanto siamo in grado di gestire
tutte le necessità a partire dal reperimento dei materiali fino al
montaggio ed essiccazione.
Lo staff aziendale, dotato di macchinari efficienti, ha effettuato
