My research activity is mainly focused on the development of analog and digital nanoelectronic circuits based on low-dimensional materials (such as graphene, graphene oxide, and MoS2). During my Master’s thesis I have fabricated integrated graphene voltage amplifiers operating in the audio frequency range and tested graphene transistors for analog mixing and amplitude modulation. In 2012 we demonstrated the first wafer-scale graphene multi-stage logic-gates, capable of operating in ambient conditions. This technology allowed us to recently demonstrate the first graphene ring oscillators operating at a frequency above 1 GHz.
