Aperio rappresenta il più moderno
contributo all’illuminazione d’interni.
Il suo alto contenuto tecnologico, l’importanza
delle sue dimensioni (oltre 2,6 m di altezza),
la sua caratteristica di essere al tempo stesso
luce e movimento, lo rendono il modo più
nuovo di rappresentare il segno della luce
nell’ambiente.
Nato dalla collaborazione di Castaldi Lighting
con lo Studio A++, è un progetto innovativo
e al tempo stesso capace di fornire emozioni
e suggestioni.
Quando viene acceso, Aperio dispiega
progressivamente la sua luce uscendo
dalla parete, sulla quale lascia la sua traccia
luminosa; spegnendosi, si ripiega e scompare
nella parete stessa.

Aperio represents the most modern
contribution to interior lighting.
Thanks to its high technological content,
its large size (over 2.6 m high), its ability
to convey both light and movement
at the same time, it stands out as the newest
way of representing light indoors.
The result of a collaboration between
Castaldi Lighting and Studio A++,
this innovative project is a source
of emotion and excitement.
When switched on, Aperio progressively
spreads out its light as it comes out
of the wall, leaving a trail of light behind.
When switched off, it folds away and
disappears into the wall.

EXTENSION
Entrambi i modelli sono installabili in partizioni di cartongesso di spessore 100mm,
risultando da spenti integrati a filo parete. Al comando di accensione il movimento motorizzato
li fa sporgere progressivamente lasciando le superfici luminose di Aperio libere di illuminare lo spazio.
Un ulteriore comando ferma il movimento in qualsiasi posizione intermedia.
Both models can be installed in 100 mm thick plasterboard partitions, sitting flush with the
wall when switched off. On the switch-on command, motorised movement causes the fixture
to gradually protrude from the wall, leaving Aperio free to light the space.
A further command stops the movement at any intermediate position.

L’intensità luminosa di Aperio aumenta gradualmente durante il movimento di apertura

Aperio’s light intensity increases gradually as the fixture opens and decreases in the same way

di conservazione delle impostazioni su memoria flash in caso di blackout.

Aperio can be customised in many ways according to requirements and is equipped
with a flash memory-based settings storage function in the event of a blackout.
Aperio può essere comandato tramite Bluetooth da PC o da dispositivi mobile come
smartphone o tablet. Il cablaggio DALI lo rende inoltre interfacciabile ai più moderni
sistemi di domotica fino ai più evoluti impianti di Building Automation.
Aperio can be controlled via Bluetooth or from a PC or mobile device, such as a smartphone
or tablet computer. The DALI wiring also allows for interfacing with the most modern domotics
systems as well as the most advanced building automation systems.
È possibile comandare a cascata più Aperio tramite una predisposizione elettrica
che permette la sincronizzazione dei movimenti o lo sfalsamento dei tempi di accensione.
Tutto questo impostando i valori su un solo apparecchio, rendendo semplice realizzare
scenografiche aperture coordinate o suggestivi effetti dinamici “ad onda”.
Several Aperio fixtures can be controlled in a cascade configuration using an electrical connection
that allows the movements and switching on times to be either synchronised or staggered.
This can be achieved by setting the values on a single device, making it simple to create scenic
coordinated opening sequences or suggestive and dynamic “wave” effects.

la correzione automatica di planarità tra modulo illuminante e parete, rilevando la posizione 0°

During the installation stage or as required, a simple command automatically corrects the
planarity between the light fixture and the wall, detecting the 0° position and associating
it with the “off ” state.

Un dispositivo antischiacciamento costituito da un sensore capace di rilevare l’incremento
di corrente nel motore blocca e inverte il movimento di Aperio, permettendo di liberare
la mano o l’eventuale oggetto che ne ostacola il funzionamento senza danneggiarlo.
Nel giro di pochi istanti, Aperio si riconfigura nello stato precedente all’interruzione.
An anti-crush device comprised of a sensor able to detect increased current in the motor blocks
and inverts Aperio’s movement, allowing hands or any other objects obstructing the fixture’s
operation to be removed without causing damage.
After a few seconds Aperio will reconfigure itself to the status it was in prior to the interruption.

Uniformità di emissione/Uniform light emission
Lo schermo in policarbonato stampato in un unico pezzo privo di giunzioni, nasconde i punti luce e
si monta a scatto senza uso di utensili. La sorgente è uno speciale circuito flessibile che si adatta alla
forma dell’apparecchio e fa da supporto ai LED front e side emitting posizionati in modo da garantire
una luminosità uniforme anche nelle zone più critiche come quelle di aggancio dello schermo.
The moulded polycarbonate screen is made from a single block with no joints. It conceals the light
points and is snap fitted without the need for tools.
The light source is a special flexible circuit that adapts to the shape of the fixture and functions
as a support for the front and side LEDs positioned in such a way as to ensure uniform brightness
even in the most critical areas such as the screen attachment points.

L’accessorio MEC6080 per l’installazione
in pareti di cartongesso permette di
incassare la componentistica elettrica e le
testate di chiusura di Half.

The MEC6080 accessory for installation
in plasterboard walls allows the electrical
components and Half end caps to be set into
the wall. After the finishing the only element
that protrudes from the wall is the screen.
Il MEC6802 permette il fissaggio a parete/
soffitto senza l’uso di box elettrici.
I driver sono remoti e le sottili testate
rimangono in vista.
MEC6082 allows wall/ceiling fixing without
electrical boxes. The drivers are remote
and the thin end caps remain in sight.
Nel caso in cui il muro non possa
accogliere i box elettrici o i driver, è
possibile utilizzare l’accessorio MEC6081,
come interfaccia, tra apparecchio e muro.
If the electrical boxes or drivers, cannot
be housed into the wall the accessory
MEC6081, can be used as interface

Costruito con materiali d’altissima qualità e da poche componenti chiuse da guarnizioni in silicone,
CHIARO Ø 30 vanta una tenuta stagna perfetta e duratura. Il tubo in policarbonato trasparente
assicura invece un’elevata resistenza agli urti (IK10).
Le testate, i serracavi e la viteria, così come tutti gli accessori d’installazione sono in acciaio INOX
AISI 316, resistente anche agli ambienti cloridrici e salini.
Made from high quality materials using few components sealed with silicon seals,
CHIARO Ø 30 is perfectly watertight and long-lasting. The transparent polycarbonate tube ensures
a high level of shock resistance (IK10).
The end caps, cable clamps and screws, like all the installation accessories, are made from AISI 316
stainless steel, which is resistant to hydrochloric and saline environments.

Chiaro Ø60 è caratterizzato da un tubo in
policarbonato trasparente con porzione
coestrusa opalina. Posizionando le sorgenti
verso la parte trasparente del tubo si sfrutta
al massimo il flusso emesso. Posizionando le
sorgenti verso la parte opalina si ottiene una
luminosità perfettamente omogenea per tutta
la lunghezza.
Chiaro Ø60 is characterised by its transparent
polycarbonate tube with co-extruded opaline
section. Positioning the sources in the transparent
part of the tube makes full use of the emitted
flux. Positioning the sources in the opaline part
of the tube creates a perfectly uniform light
though the entire length of the tube.
