bordo di valvole di regolazione pneumatiche.
Il posizionatore funziona secondo il principio di
“Compensazione delle forze“.
L’utilizzo del posizionatore elettro-pneumatico garantisce una
miglior precisione e velocità della valvola oltre a garantire una
migliore regolazione nel sistema.
Il posizionatore elettro-pneumatico ELPO 150A è l’elemento
intermedio tra il regolatore elettronico e la valvola di
regolazione.

ELPO 150A electro-pneumatic positioner is mounted
aboard of pneumatic control valves. The device works
on the “compensation of forces principle”. The
positioner assures a better precision, and a higher valve
speed, in addition betters process regulation inside the
system. ELPO 150A pneumatic positioner is the
intermediate element between the regulator and the
pneumatic control valve

Il posizionatore Elettro-pneumatico ELPO150A
ha una costruzione semplice e robusta
resistente a carichi gravosi con un mimino di
manutenzione.
L’azione del posizionatore si può cambiare
facilmente e velocemente la necessità di parti
aggiuntive.
FUNZIONAMENTO
Il posizionatore Elettro-pneumatico ELPO150A
consiste nell’unione di due moduli uniti in un
unico meccanismo. Il primo modulo serve per
convertire il segnale in ingresso da elettrico a
pneumatico. Il segnaIe pneumatico entra nel
secondo
modulo
dove
avviene
la
comparazione dei parametri. Il campo molle è
compresso dalla leva di feedback che è
direttamente collegata alla posizione dello
stelo della valvola. Questa forza del campo
molle è controbilanciata dalla forza creata
dalla pressione aria pilota dell’attuatore. Tutte
le forze non bilanciate, causate da aumento
di pressione pilota o cambiamento della
posizione dello stelo valvola, attivano il
diaframma
aprendo
l’orificio
dell’aria,
permettendo il passaggio dell’aria nella
camera di controllo del posizionatore. La
forza risultante dalla pressione aria pilota
(comando) e la forza esercitata sul campo
molla in proporzione alla posizione dello stelo
valvola è dunque controllato automaticamente dal posizionatore. Questo controllo è
positivo e non subisce controazioni anche
veloci. Quando la pressione aria pilota
diminuisce si apre il diaframma scaricando
l’aria contenuta nella testata della valvola
permettendo allo stelo valvola di muoversi
fino al raggiungimento dell’equilibrio delle
forze. Il diaframma è costantemente corretto
dal
costante
passaggio
dell’aria
aumentandone la risposta dinamica dell’unità
di controllo.
Operation
ELPO150A Electro-pneumatic positioner
consists of two functional modules joined in
one single mechanism. First module converts
input electric signal into an intermediate
pneumatic signal. This one is transferred into
the second functional module where there is
a comparison between the two parameters.
.The range spring is compressed by the
action of a feedback lever which is directly
connected to the position of the valve stem
actuator. This force is counter balanced by
the force created by pilot air pressure in the
diaphragm. Any unbalanced force caused by
a pilot air pressure increase or valve stem
position change, let start actuator diaphragm
opening feed air nozzle and, allowing air
supply into the positioner control unit
chamber. The obtained force generates air
pilot pressure (command) and the force
exerted on the range spring is proportional
to the valve stem position
therefore
automatically controlled by the positioner.
This control is positive and is unaffected by
any, also fast, counter actions. When air
pressure pilot decreases the baffle plate
open to release air from the valve air
chamber allowing the valve stem to move up
to a position where the two forces are
balanced again.
The baffle plate is continously adjusted for a
constant slight air consumption, improving
the dynamic response of the control unit.
