April 2009-December 2012: Student fellowship in Department of Hematology, University of Florence, under the supervision of Dr.Alterini Renato. The title of the research grant was “Immunohistochemistry analysis of bone marrow biopsy in patients with mastocytosis”. We investigated bone marrow biopsy of both MDS and MPN patients, a range of clonal haematological malignant diseases. In particular, I contribute to studies focused on immunohistochemical and morphological alterations in bone marrow biopsy of patients with Sistemic Mastocytosis and bone marrow of Systemic Sclerosis (SSc) patients and Multiple Sclerosis (SM) patients undergoing autologous bone marrow transplantation.
