Care pathways in action: levels of development and application,
current experiences and future prospects

AIM OF THE CONFERENCE
The conference aims at expanding and exchanging knowledge and practice on
the use and evaluation of clinical pathways at international level, in order to
improve clinical daily practice, organization and patient safety.
The Conference is divided into two parts: the National Conference will take place
on October 29, 2015 (Language: Italian). The International Conference will take
place on October 30 & 31, 2015 (Language: English).
An Italian-English simultaneous translation service will be provided on the
mornings of 30-31 October 2015.
ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION
We hereby invite you to submit an abstract. Abstracts on the development,
implementation and evaluation of care pathways or the (re)design of care processes
in all sectors of healthcare are welcome. These abstracts will be assessed by
an international Scientific Committee. There are oral presentations and poster
presentations. The abstract form in Italian or English can be downloaded from:

POSTER PRESENTATIONS
Poster presentations are visual displays of material which will be displayed in
the exhibition area throughout the conference, and presented during the coffee
breaks and lunches by the authors.
The best poster will receive a poster prize and the winning authors will be asked
to give a brief oral presentation of their work as part of a main stage plenary
session on the second conference day.
ORAL PRESENTATIONS
Sessions in the main programme are presented orally.
Each presenter is allocated a 20 minute slot including 5 minutes questions and
answers in the most suitable section of the conference programme.
The International Care Pathways Conference 2015 welcomes abstracts on:

Maximum 2 pages / Arial pitch 12 (longer abstracts are not reviewed)

Abstracts will be reviewed based on criteria as follows: originality, clarity of
objectives, methods used, use of data and conclusions
