manufactures a wide range of
products under the brand name
MOVITEC: Electromechanical and
pneumatic Linear Tables, “Piccola” Micro
Linear Tables for reduced space and “BiRail” Linear Modules with 2 rail guides and
4 slide units.
The flexibility of the products combined
with a wide selection of drives, guiding
systems and options allows for easy integration into new or existing machines.
Drives
An ample selection of drives is available
to find the right solution for any specific
application. Based on the load and production cycle, an appropriate drive is
available: rolled or ground ball screws,
high-helix lead screws, rolled or ground
satellite roller screws, trapezoidal screws
and pneumatic cylinders.
Guiding systems
The guiding system can be made up of
linear rail guides, long carriage linear rail
guides, heavy load linear rail guides, linear
roller guides can be used, but slideways,
cross roller guides, linear ball bearings and
ball bushings are also available.

Motors
Depending on the working cycles,
brushless DC servomotors, AC/
DC servomotors, stepper motors (all Italian brand) or custom
specific motor mounting is
available.
Materials
All MOVITEC linear systems are manufactured from extruded anodized aluminum
profiles.
Linear Tables are also available in steel.
“Piccola” Micro Linear Tables are manufactured standard from anodized aluminium. For special applications they are
also available in non-corrosive steel.
“Bi-Rail” Linear Modules are manufactured
from an extruded anodized aluminium
profile.
Protections
All MOVITEC linear systems are delivered
with PVC bellows to protect the drives
and guides. For special applications, metal
covers or bellows with slats are available.
Options
A wide selection of options turn MOVITEC
systems into the most flexible components for custom-made solutions:
extra drillings, lubrication, limit switches,
blocking systems, direct motor drive with
coupling or with toothed belt, security
systems and measuring systems.
For Pneumatic Linear Tables TPP there
are mechanical safety lock devices with or
without rod blocking device, safety shock
absorbers, proximity sensors and different cylinder mounting plates.
Complete, customer specific
solutions
MOVITEC linear systems are the ideal
components for customer-specific solutions. Thanks to their modular construction, very economic, application-oriented
linear systems can be implemented.
Linear sections with special lengths,
long or double carriages, special surface
treatments such as gunmetal finish for the
laser industry and many other “specials”
can be created in the shortest time.

Description LV type
“Piccola” Micro Linear Tables
The “Piccola” Micro Linear Tables are
manufactured from anodised aluminium
in three sizes: 050, 075 and 100. For
special applications they may also be
supplied in stainless steel. In this case
both the drives and guiding systems are
provided in non-corrossive materials. The
minimum stroke is 20 mm up to maximum
500 mm, depending on the size. “Piccola”
is the right solution for reduced space and
medium loads.
Drives
A wide range of drives is available:
–rolled or ground ball screws,
Ø 6–10 mm, pitch 1–10 mm,
ISO 5 or ISO 7
–“Speedy” high-helix lead screws,
Ø 6–10 mm, pitch 5–35 mm,
ISO 7 (standard) or ISO 5 (on request)
–“Rondo” round thread lead screws,
Ø x pitch 6x2 / 8x2 / 10x3 mm,
ISO 9 (standard) or ISO 7 (on request)

switches are possible. LV 075 and LV
100 may be equipped with internal, wired
inductive limit switches.

Linear Tables
MOVITEC electromechanical Linear Tables
are manufactured in the following configurations:
–TVP type in size 100, 150, 200, 250,
300 and 400 with screw drive and
linear rail guides (standard)
–TVL type in size 100, 150, 200, 250,
300 and 400 with screw drive and
long carriage linear rail guides
–TVH type in size 200, 250, 300 and 400
with screw drive and heavy load linear
rail guides
–TVR type in size 150, 200, 250, 300 and
400 with screw drive and linear roller
guides
–TVB type in size 100 and 150 with
screw drive and ball bushings.

Fixing systems (continuation)
– “Lateral” T-nuts
For the mounting of external components like trailing cables, limit switches or measuring
systems there are steel T-nuts available. They match the width of the lateral grooves in
the base plate of each TV size and are suitable in short or long version.

Expansion bellows with stainless steel slats
On all TV Linear Tables it is possible to fit protective stainless steel slats on
the standard expansion bellows for special working conditions like welding,
grounding, machine tooling, etc.
Lateral steel covers
All Linear Tables TV can be protected on both sides with lateral steel covers.
These are recommended with strong dirt conditions and “overhead
mounting”.

Measuring systems
For all TV Linear Tables linear measuring systems with resolutions of 0.1, 0.01, 0.005 or
0.001 mm are available. Outputs: RC transistor NPN (standard), OC open collector, LTD
26LS31 or sinusoidal SIN 1VPP.
Magnetic measuring system
Besides linear measuring systems, it is possible to supply internal linear magnetic strips.
They have same characteristics of resolution and output like the optical systems.

Linear Tables
MOVITEC pneumatic Linear Tables are
manufactured in the following configurations:
–TPP type in size 150, 200, 250, 300
and 400 with cylinder drive and
linear rail guides (standard)
–TPL type in size 150, 200, 250, 300
and 400 with cylinder drive and
long carriage linear rail guides
–TPH type in size 200, 250, 300 and 400
with cylinder drive and heavy load linear
rail guides
–TPR type in size 150, 200, 250, 300
and 400 with cylinder drive and
linear roller guides
Drive
The driving system is provided by a pneumatic cylinder.
Guiding system
The following guiding systems are available for the TP type:
–TPP with linear rail guides (standard)
– TPL with long carriage linear rail guides
– TPH with heavy load linear rail guides
– TPR with linear roller guides
Application
Pneumatic Linear Tables have been developed especially for the automotive and
the manufacturing industry. They can be
easily combined together or with any other
MOVITEC linear system to build multi axis
systems.
