INTERRUTTORE DI MANOVRA SEZIONATORE
LOAD BREAK SWITCH
Interruttore caratterizzato dalla capacità di portare e di
interrompere la corrente in normali condizioni di
funzionamento del circuito e che, nella posizione di aperto,
rispetta le specifiche di isolamento previste per un
sezionatore.
A switch capable of making, carrying and breaking currents
under normal circuits conditions and which, in the open position,
complies with the isolating requirements specified for a
disconnector.

SM LOAD BREAK SWITCHES RANGE
La serie dei sezionatori modulari SM garantisce la copertura
di un range di taglie compreso tra 16 e 125 A. I sezionatori
sono disponibili nelle versioni a 3-, 4-, 6- e 8-poli e a 2-poli su
richiesta. Le versioni a 6- o 8-poli sono composte da due
sezionatori SM tripolari o tetrapolari connessi tramite il kit per
il collegamento in parallelo.
The SM-rotary switch series covers the range from 16 up to
125 Amp. The load break switches are available as 3-, 4-, 6and 8-pole, and 2-pole upon request.
The 6- and 8-pole versions consist of two 3 or 4 pole SM load
break switches connected by a parallel kit.

su richiesta. La versione a 6- o a 8-poli è composta da due
sezionatori SMB tripolari o tetrapolari connessi tramite il kit
per il collegamento in parallelo.

160 A. The load break switches are available as 3-, 4-, 6- and

SMF FUSE LOAD BREAK SWITCHES RANGE
La serie di sezionatori modulari SMF garantisce la copertura
di un range compreso tra 16 e 32 A. I sezionatori sono
disponibili nelle versioni a 3- e 4- poli senza possibilità di
protezione del neutro.
L’SMF è un sezionatore con uno o più poli connessi ad un
fusibile a formare un unità composta.
La serie di sezionatori modulari con portafusibili SMF
garantisce il sezionamento e la protezione dell’impianto.
The SMF-rotary switch series covers the range from 16 up to
32 A. The load break switches are available as 3- and 4- with
the neutral pole not fused.
The SMF is a switch-disconnector in which one or more poles
have a fuse in series in a composite unit.
The SMF fuse switch disconnector series assures plant disconnection and protection.
CARATTERISTICHE PRINCIPALI
MAIN PROPERTIES
La tecnologia presente utilizza i contatti in argento al fine di
garantire un funzionamento maggiormente sicuro e duraturo
nel tempo.
La gamma completa di accessori (da ordinarsi
separatamente) include la manovra blocco porta, il relativo
albero di prolunga, la manovra diretta, i contatti ausiliari, il kit
per il montaggio su porta, il kit per il collegamento in
parallelo, i commutatori e le espansioni per bandelle.

La serie di sezionatori modulari con
portafusibili SMF garantisce il
sezionamento e la protezione
dell’impianto.
Tali dispositivi, disponibili in versione
tripolare e tetrapolare, sono composti
da un interruttore di manovra
sezionatore SM e da un portafusibili
preassemblato di tipo tripolare per
fusibili CH10 cilindrici da 10,3x38 (vedi
pagina 5-16), sezionabile e dotato di
dispositivo di sicurezza.
L’apertura è gestita tramite un blocco
che garantisce l’accessibilità ai fusibili
solo con sezionatore in posizione di 0,
al fine di garantire la sicurezza
dell’operatore.
La serie di sezionatori modulari con
portafusibili SMF è arricchita da
un’ampia gamma di accessori
perfettamente compatibili con la serie
di sezionatori SM: due tipi
di
manovre blocco-porta lucchettabili
IP65 (standard o di emergenza),
contatti ausiliari, kit per il comando
diretto, kit per il comando su retroporta, kit per il parallelo e kit di
commutazione (vedi pagina 5-17 per

The SMF fuse switch disconnector series assures plant disconnection and
protection.
These devices, available as threepoles and four-poles versions, are
made up of a SM load break switch
and a built-in three-poles modular fuseholder for CH10 cylindrical fuses
10,3x38
(see
page
5-16),
disconnectable and with finger safe
protection.
The release is managed using a block
that assures the accessibility to fuse
only when the load break switch is in
OFF position to assure the operator
safe.
The SMF fuse switch disconnector series is enriched with a wide range of
accessories completely consistent
with the SM series: two type of lockable door interlock handle IP65
(standard and emergency version),
auxiliary contacts, direct handle, door
mounting and change-over kit (see
page 5-17 for the compatibility between products and accessories).

CONDIZIONI DI SERVIZIO
Il funzionamento nominale di un sezionatore modulare Ghisalba
è previsto per un range di temperature compreso tra -20 e
+40°C. Per temperature ambiente superiori, il sezionatore
dev’essere declassato linearmente secondo le fasce di
temperatura:
•
da 40 a 60°C: decremento dal 100% all’85%
•
da 60 a 80°C: decremento dal 85% al 60%
La temperatura massima prevista per un utilizzo continuativo del
dispositivo è di 80°C.
CONFORMITA’ AGLI STANDARD
Le caratteristiche tecniche degli interruttori sezionatori sono
conformi alle norme:

- AC-20: Connessione e interruzione senza carico.

SERVICE CONDITIONS
The normal operating temperature for a Ghisalba load break
switch is in the range from -20 and +40°C. For higher ambient
temperatures, the switch must be derated in a linear way with
the temperature range as shown here following:
•
from 40 up to 60°C: decrease from 100% to 85%
•
from 60 up to 80°C: decrease from 85% to 60%
The maximum operating temperature for a continuos use is
80°C.

I fusibili sono classificati secondo la norma IEC 60269, in
funzione del campo di interruzione e della categoria di utilizzo.
Le due classificazioni sono definite da un codice di due
lettere.
The fuses are classified with the breaking capacity range and
with the utilization category in conformity to the IEC 60269
standards.
These two classifications are defined by a two letters code.
La prima lettera indica il campo di interruzione:
• “g”. A pieno campo: se il fusibile interviene dal valore di
taratura fino al potere di interruzione
• “a”. A campo ridotto: se il fusibile interviene dopo una
certa tolleranza dalla taratura fino al potere di
interruzione. Sono tipi di fusibili destinati alla
protezioni dei motori che in fase di spunto non
debbono intervenire.
The first letter means the breaking capacity range:
• “g”. Full range: if the fuse works from the rated current to
rated breaking capacity
• “a”. Partial range: if the fuse works after a certain value
included from the rated current to the rated
breaking capacity. It’s a fuse type expecially used
for the motor pro tection because it doesn’t work
during the motor take off.
La seconda lettera indica la categoria di utilizzo:
• “G”: fusibili utilizzati per la protezione di applicazioni
generali
• “M”: fusibili utilizzati per la protezione di circuiti che
alimentano motori.
The second letter means the utilization category:
• “G”: fuses used for protection of general applications
• “M”: fuses used for protection of motor circuits.
