Il volume “Il viaggio del Globulo Rosso”, progettato
all’interno del Cartoon Animated Training è stato
individuato da Arpa quele esempio di formazione non
convenzionale, rivolto ad un pubblico peculiare come
quello dei bambini.
La Fondazione Arpa è una organizzazione non
lucrativa, O.N.L.U.S., creata per promuovere la
ricerca e la formazione nei vari campi della Sanità.
Essa è nata da una iniziativa del Prof. Franco Mosca,
Direttore della Divisione di Chirurgia Generale 1°
Universitaria dell’Università di Pisa. Il Maestro Andrea
Bocelli ha voluto assumerne la Presidenza Onoraria
poiché quale artista di fama mondiale, ambasciatore
dell’Italia nel mondo e uomo di rara sensibilità
personale, ha riconosciuto nella Fondazione Arpa
uno strumento adatto a sostenere gli operatori della
sanità nella lotta contro le sofferenze dovute alla
perdita del bene primario, la salute. Per ottenere
scopi che vanno oltre l’aspetto medico, Arpa si
è aperta al contributo di arti e discipline, avendo
testimonial dotati di una personale sensibilità e che
hanno aderito ai vari progetti.
La Fondazione vede con favore l’esperimento didattico
del fumetto per un fenomeno vitale del corpo
umano, traendo spunto dalle prime esperienze di un
bambino. Questo libro senza testo scritto, sarà uno
strumento utile alle nuove generazioni nella Comunità
Europea e nel Mondo a sostegno dei progetti di Arpa,
con la speranza che questo mezzo didattico possa
presto essere utilizzato per la diffusione della
cultura della Donazione.
The book “The journey of the Red Cell”,
conceived inside the Cartoon Animated Training
project, has been choosed by Arpa as an example
of non-conventional education, focused to a
peculiar target like children.
Arpa Foundation is a no profit, ONLUS
organization , created to promote research in
different subjects of Welfare. It started from
an initiative by Prof. Franco Mosca, Director
of the General Surgery University Division of
Pisa University. Maestro Andrea Bocelli wished
to assume the Honorary Presidency as a
world-famous artist, Italian Ambassador in
the World doted of rare personal sensitivity,
accounted Arpa Foundation as an instrument to
support welfare staffs in the fights against the
sufferance due to the defeat of the primary
gift, that is health. To reach the aims that are
beyond the medicine matter, Arpa was opened to
the contributions of arts and disciplines , having
testimonials doted of a personal sensitivity and
joined the several projects. This Foundation
expects with favour the didactic experiment of
the cartoon for a fundamental phenomenon of
the human body, drawing hint from the early
experiences of a child. This booklet without a
written text, it will be a useful tool for the
futures generations of the European Community
and all over the World supporting the Arpa
Projects, with the hope that this didactic tool
will be soon used for the diffusion of the
Culture of Gift.

T H E
Il progetto si propone di realizzare lo sviluppo
dell’apprendimento permanente di qualità e di
promuovere la dimensione europea ed universale della
formazione animata, aumentando la cooperazione in
materia di garanzia della qualità nei settori di istruzione
e formazione personale, attraverso lo scambio di prassi
tra istituzioni, scuole di fumetto e animazione, università,
istituti scolastici e agenzie formative a livello europeo, il
tutto tramite il trasferimento del prodotto Formazione
Animata e di unità didattiche animate. Il progetto per far
questo focalizza l’attenzione sui presupposti pedagogici
e metodologici che entrano in gioco, sia nel rapporto
insegnamento/apprendimento, che nell’ambito della
struttura di formazione. L’esito conclusivo è la messa
a sistema del contributo innovativo della formazione
animata, già sperimentata in progetti precedenti. Nel
corso di avanzamento del progetto, si sono create unità
didattiche di formazione animata (fumetti, cartoni animati,
libri illustrati, DVD multimediali…) e nel contempo si
sono studiate strategie per giungere alla definizione di
metodologie di insegnamento adeguate, in modo da
individuare una figura nuova di formatore. Questa figura
professionale si arricchirà di nuove competenze, come la
capacità di sceneggiare la formazione, ossia di tradurre il
percorso formativo in una storia che verrà trasposta in
immagini dal disegnatore o dall’animatore.
The project aims to achieve the development
of permanent quality learning and to promote
the European and universal dimension of
animated education by increasing cooperation to
guarantee quality in the areas of education and
personal development through an exchange of
methods between institutions, schools of comics
and animation, universities, schools and training
agencies on a European level; this will come about
through the transfer of the Animated Training
Product and of animated educational units.
To do this the project will centre its attention on all
the pedagogical and methodological suppositions
that come into play in teaching/learning
relationships and within the training structure.
Educational animated training units (comics,
cartoons, illustrated books, multimedia DVD)
have been created during the development of
the project and, at the same time, strategies heve
been studied to arrive at the definition of the
appropriate teaching methods for identifying a
new type of teacher.This professional figure will
therefore be enriched with new skills, such as the
ability to dramatise his teaching, in other words, to
translate the entire course into a story that will
then be transposed into images by the artist or the
cartoon maker.

ISIA è una scuola statale di livello
universitario, inserita tra gli Istituti
di Alta Formazione Artistica.
È stata fondata nel settembre
1975 dall’allora Ministero della
Pubblica Istruzione che voleva
dare seguito a livello didattico alla
ricca e fruttuosa esperienza dei
primi corsi di disegno industriale.
Il corso dell’ISIA è composto
da una diploma di primo livello
in Design e da una biennale di
specializzazione che si divide in
design del prodotto e design
della comunicazione. L’istituto
è considerato un’eccellenza nel
campo del Design.

It is a State school at Universitylevel and included in the Institutes
for Higher Artistic Training. The
school was founded by the Ministry
of Education in September 1975
to continue the rich and fruitful
teaching experience of the first
industrial design courses. The ISIA
course is composed by the three
year training course about industrial
design and by the two years of
specialization in product design
and communication. The Institute
is considerated as an excellence in
the design education.

editorialmente il 5 settembre
2003, frutto ed incontro di
due esperienze precedenti
nel coinvolgente mondo dei
libri: Valentina Filidei e Michele
Quirici. Hanno sempre lavorato
ponendo particolare attenzione
al territorio, valorizzando la storia
locale, i personaggi e gli aspetti
inediti di ogni comunità.

fiabe, migranti, narrativa, diaristica.
Grafica ed esperta di sistemi di
desktop publishing, ha frequentato corsi di comunicazione e di
fotografia. Ha tenuto seminari
ed interventi in istituti formativi.
Proviene dalla cittadina costiera di
Donoratico. Grafica e progettista,
è coordinatrice ed editor in chief
per progetti editoriali, sia tradizionali che online.
Tagete Edizioni was born in 2003
thanks to Valentina Filidei and
Michele Quirici. They had ever
work with particulary attention
to the territory, increasing the
value of local history, like poetry,
politics, photography, fairy tale,
narrative,Tagete Edizioni is cultural
contaminaction.
Melania è nata a Firenze nel 1987.
Frequenta l’ISIA di Firenze e nel
2009 ha vinto il Premio Nazionale
Bruno Munari con un progetto
sullo sviluppo del pensiero creativo dei bambini e degli adolescenti
chiamato: “Scopriamo il buio”.
Nel 2008 e nel 2009 ha
collaborato con MBVision per
l’organizzazione dei workshop
e delle mostre di Creac©iivty e
Fiabesque.
MBVision creative director and
CEO. He is an expert in multimedia communication and technology for projects of innovation
and new museum concepts. He
plays an active role in design and
research, he is a lecturer at ISIA of
Florence and an art director for
selected customers.
Valentina Pala
Graphic designer and Desktop Publishing expert. She has completed
communication and photography
courses and she has held seminars
and interventions in training institutions. As a graphic designer and
designer, she is the coordinator and
editor-in-chief for books, magazines
and online publishing projects
for MBVision.

.Direttore creativo e amministratore di MBVision.
Professionista dall’87, è esperto in
comunicazione e tecnologie multimediali, in particolare per design
innovation e ambienti museali,
lavorando nella progettazione e
nella ricerca. È docente all’ISIA di
Firenze, progettista e consulente
aziendale.
Designer della comunicazione,
si è laureata all’ISIA di Firenze
con una tesi sulla comunicazione
cultrurale del territorio attraverso
i social network. Dopo un master
di comunicazione presso la Libera
Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze,
ha affrontato la professione, in
particolare nel publishing tradizionale e online.
Communication designer, she confered the degree by ISIA of Florence,
with a graduation thesis about Cultural communication of Countries
through the social networks. She
attended also a Communication’s
master by Libera Accademia di
Belle Arti of Florence, and after she
began her profession with passion
above all in what concerns the
traditional and online publishing.
Alessio Ravazzani
Melania was born in Florence
in 1987. She attended ISIA and
in 2009 she won the National
Prize Bruno Munari with a project
about the development of creative
children thought called “Discover
the dark”. In 2008 and 2009 she
worked with MBVision to organize workshops and exhibitions for
Crea©tivity and Fiabesque events.

professionale ha collaborato con
lo Studio Inventario di Bologna ed
eseguito lavori per Zanichelli, Mc
Donald’s, Vodafone, Fondazione
del Bigallo, Doubleshot editrice.
Alessio Ravazzani works in Florence
as comics illustrator and he teachs
at the School of Art of Prato. During
his professional route, he co-operated with Studio Inventario of Bologna, and he worked with Zanichelli,
McDonald’s, Bigallo Foundation and
Doubleshot Edition.
