ROME ROLL-LINE 2014, LIBERTAS CUP
INTERNATIONAL TROPHY OF ARTISTIC ROLLER SKATING
2nd Edition, 2014 · 14 , 15 and 16 February 2014
L’idea di organizzare un Trofeo Internazionale è nata dalla ricorrenza del 10mo anniversario dalla fondazione della sezione
pattinaggio della Polisportiva Pian Due Torri che muove i suoi primi passi negli anni ’60 nel difficile quartiere della Magliana e
che da quasi cinquant’anni offre un’alternativa sportiva sana e formativa ai ragazzi ed alle ragazze della zona. Oggi, grazie
alla collaborazione dell’Ente di promozione sportivo Libertas e del Comitato Regionale FIHP Lazio e grazie al sostegno della
Roll-Line, ditta italiana leader mondiale nella meccanica del pattino, arrivati alla seconda edizione del “Roma Roll-Line Coppa
Libertas” possiamo dire che questo che era un sogno è diventato realtà.
Alla competizione partecipano numerose società, provenienti da diverse regioni italiane, e campioni internazionali per un
avvenimento che raccoglie oltre trecento atleti e che rappresenta un evento unico per il pattinaggio romano. Tra i tanti
campioni che prenderanno parte al Trofeo spiccano quelli del brasiliano Gustavo Casado, ospite l’anno scorso alla prima
edizione e che si ripresenta con il titolo mondiale senior in tasca, dell’idolo di casa la romana Silvia Nemesio, vincitrice di 4
titoli mondiali junior e vice-campionessa del mondo senior 2013, di Lucija Mlinaric, vicecampionessa mondiale di libero nel 2011
e seconda classificata in combinata ai mondiali di Aukcland del 2012, di Paola Fraschini, pluricampionessa del mondo capace di
inanellare cinque titoli mondiali in cinque anni dal 2009 al 2013, di Luca Lucaroni, vice-campione del mondo junior, di Matteo
Barrocu, atleta della polisportiva Trullo campione europeo 2013. Ad arricchire la seconda edizione del Trofeo Internazionale
Roma Roll-Line Coppa Libertas, Marta Cavaliere (5° classificata agli europei 2012), la partecipazione della società slovena
KK Rence, della rappresentativa della Germania, del club rotellistico di Tarragona (Spagna) e del club australiano Bunbury,
senza dimenticare i numerosi altri atleti di rilievo nazionale ed internazionale tra i quali per partigianeria nominiamo la nostra
Carlotta Andracchio.
Inoltre ci piace sottolineare come nello stesso contesto del Trofeo Internazionale Roll-Line si disputerà la Coppa Libertas, una
gara dedicata esclusivamente ai piccoli pattinatori laziali, speriamo i futuri campioni del domani, che proveranno l’emozione di
trovarsi fianco a fianco con i grandi protagonisti del pattinaggio. Una vicinanza che rappresenta il senso stesso dello sport:
la partecipazione, la condivisione di una passione e l’emulazione.
Infine vorremmo porre l’attenzione su due momenti importanti dell’evento ovverosia La Notte del Cuore, galà di beneficenza
in cui parte del ricavato andrà a sostegno di un importante ente no-profit per combattere il drammatico problema della
mortalità infantile, che si svolgerà il 14 febbraio alle ore 21.00 e la Cerimonia di Apertura che si svolgerà il sabato sera sempre
alle 21.00 dove tutte le società e tutti gli atleti sfileranno davanti al pubblico e dove verranno suonati i rispettivi inni nazionali.
Insieme ai protagonisti di oggi si esibiranno anche i campioni del passato per dimostrare che quel filo invisibile che è l’amore
per il nostro sport non ha età.
Grazie a loro ed a tutti gli atleti partecipanti il II Trofeo Internazionale Roma Roll-Line Coppa Libertas, sarà una manifestazione
da non perdere.

The Club “ASD Pian Due Torri Skating” in collaboration with “FIHP Lazio”, “Libertas” and “Roll-Line” is organizing the
Second Edition of the Rome International Trophy of Artistic Roller-skating “Roll-Line · Libertas Cup 2014” open to
the disciplines of individual figures, individual free, pairs, dance and solo dance.
The competition will take place from 14 to 16 February 2014 on two different tracks: the Bowls Stadium of Rome
(Bocciodromo), in Fiume Bianco, 75 (22x40 wooden track), and the sporting palace “Palamunicipio” in Via Tito, 40 (track
parquet 21x42).
The participation fee is 12 euro for the first discipline (individual figures, individual free, pairs, dance, solo dance) and 8 euro
for each additional discipline.
The fee for the LIBERTAS AFFILIATES is 10 euro or the first discipline and 5 euro for each additional discipline.
THE APPLICATION FEE MUST BE PAID BY JANUARY 20TH, 2014.
The application deadline is on 20th of January 2014. Any cancellation by January 31st will result in the loss of half of the
total amount. After that date will not be possible to return any fees.
On Friday night, February 14th, will be held an important roller skating show with performances of past and present
champions. The Show named “Heart Night Show” is dedicated to love, solidarity and brotherhood. Part of the profits will
be donated to charity organisations. The Show will be transmitted by a local television channel.
On Saturday night, February 15th will be held the Opening Ceremony of the Trophy, in which is requested the participation
of all the participant, bearing their Club’s uniform and, if it is possible their Club’s flag. On this occasion, a Gala Show will
take place with performances of Italian and foreign champions of the past and the present.

Logistics
The competitions will be held at the Bowls Stadium of Rome (Bocciodromo), in the address, Via Fiume Bianco, 75 and at
the sporting palace of Via Tito, 40, according to the herewith enclosed provisional agenda. After the application deadline,
the program may vary. A free shuttle bus will connect the two tracks and the hotels affiliated with the Trophy.

Tickets
The entrance fee for the competitions which will be held into the stadium “Bocciodromo” has as followed:
Day competitions (8h00-20h00): 3,00 euro per day
Opening Ceremony (Saturday night, 15 February, 21h00): 5,00 euro
Heart Night Show (Friday, 14 February, 21h00): 7,00 euro
Special ticket packages:
Package for all the competitions: 5,00 euro
Package for all the night events (valid for the Opening Ceremony and the Heart Night Show): 10,00 euro
Package all inclusive (valid for all the competitions and the two night events): 15,00 euro
The entrance for the competitions to the stadium “Palamunicipio” in Via Tito 40 is free.
Catering
The organization has signed a convention with the restaurant of the Bowls Stadium, which is located inside the building.
The restaurant provides meals on discounted prices.
Tourism
The organization in collaboration with the Cultural Association “Gatti del Foro” offers a sightseeing tour of Rome on the
bus with tour guide on board, transfers from/to the Square in front of the Boules Stadium entrance.
The tour costs 10,00 euro for adults and 5,00 euro for the participant athletes of the trophy and underage children

Field Test
It will be available extra time for track testing on payment.
The time schedule of the field tests will be announced with the final program of the Trophy.
Photos and Videos
During the event there will be an official photographer and camera-man.
The organization reserves the right to use such materials for promotional purposes, by placing pictures of the event on the
website dedicated to the trophy and the channels reserved to the organization.
Each Club is requested to send a photo of its Logo, as well the Curriculum Vitae of the Club, in order to get published on
the event’s website.
Annex
In the Appendix n° 1 you can find the rules of participation and allocation of the Trophy. In Appendix n°2 there are the
technical regulations, while in the Appendix N° 3 the Application Form. Finally in the Appendix N° 4 please, find the provisional
program of the competition.
