A jump from modern, eclectic Milan into a Renaissance Milan marked by the genius of Leonardo da Vinci. A journey through
history, art and science and a brief stroll to Santa Maria delle Grazie to meet under the great Last Supper, Leonardo’s enigmatic
masterpiece. From there a short walk to the Church of San Maurizio, the “Sistine Chapel of Milan”, a small jewel that contains
excellent frescoes. These include the fine works of Bernardino Luini, the best of the Lombard painters influenced by Leonardo.

Exclusive gala dinner at VILLA MANZONI, home of the famous author and poet. Just 8 km from the center of Milan, Villa Manzoni was the summer residence of the great writer. Built in
1600, restored and enlarged between 1811 and 1818, the villa is still inhabited by descendants of the family. The Villa has remained unchanged over time and maintains the charm of
the many items that describe Manzoni’s life, both as writer and as architect and botanist. Indeed, he devoted himself personally to the creation and expansion of the Villa and of the large
park surrounding the old mansion. Certain rooms of the Villa, after a careful restoration, now open their doors to prestigious private institutional events.

PROGRAM FOR ALUMNI AND COMPANIONS
Alumni and their companions can choose one of the following activities:
culture, sport, food & wine. The day will conclude with a farewell dinner in the foyer of the new Aula Magna of Università Bocconi.
For all the activities a bus transfer from and to the University, via Roentgen 1, is provided. The return is scheduled for about 17.00
CULTURE - EXCLUSIVE TOUR OF LAKE COMO
A tour of literature, art and nature that takes you to the shores of Lake Como: a path with some great classics, such as Villa
d’Este, Villa Versace, Laglio, Comacina Island, Villa Balbianello, Lenno, Tremezzo and Villa Carlotta, historical destination of
the Grand Tour embellished with works by Canova, Thorvaldsen and Hayez, and with its magnificent botanical garden. And
then visit Bellagio, internationally recognized as the pearl of the lake from the sixteenth century, with a stop for lunch at the
exclusive Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni and relax to enjoy the splendid view.

SPORT - GOLF CLINIQUE AT GOLF CLUB “CASTELLO DI TOLCINASCO”
Castello di Tolcinasco Golf & Country Club, designed by Arnold Palmer, is one of the most prestigious clubs in Italy.
On the outside, the stunning swimming pool and tennis courts, in addition to golf facilities such as three putting greens, bunker
areas and pitch, practice field with 30 outdoor positions and 15 indoor ones.
The planning of the day is an MBA Golf Cup among Teachers and Alumni, golf training for beginners with specialized
teachers, lunch at the Golf Club and of course relax for who wants to. Day of training with qualified instructors and lunch at the Golf Club.
