Scelto per la sua conformazione suggestivamente
attinente alla neve e per la sua valenza medica, il sale è
l’elemento conduttore della Spa dell’Hotel Spinale
Chosen for its evocative appearance, reminiscent of snow, and for its medical
value, salt is the unifying thread of the Hotel Spinale Spa
Hotel Spinale, un quattro stelle di tradizione, ha da sempre interpretato lo spirito raffinato ed esigente di sciatori ed escursionisti
che prediligono Madonna di Campiglio (Tn) per i suoi circa cento
chilometri di piste innevate, ma anche per l’eleganza del suo centro, per
le sue boutique, ristoranti e locali notturni. L’Hotel, infatti, ha sempre
puntato sull’alto livello di servizio, tanto da essere stato uno dei primi a
dotarsi di piscina e centro benessere, completamente rinnovati con questo recente intervento. La proprietà, rappresentata da Gabriella Rigatti
Lazzara, presidente di Vita Nova, associazione degli Hotel del Trentino
con Spa selezionate per qualità e servizio, aveva espresso la precisa
volontà di ampliare l’offerta e dare una nuova immagine, ma anche di
realizzare un centro di qualità, che si distinguesse per la sostanza dei
trattamenti. A conferma di questo la scelta di affidarsi ad un esperto in
thalassoterapia, Fausto Bonsignori: l’impostazione è basata su una reale
valenza di terapia, e non su una semplice suggestione di benessere. Il
sale è stato l’elemento conduttore: per la sua conformazione, sugge-

stivamente attinente alla neve, e per la sua valenza
medica. Ispirandosi ai “sali del mondo”, attraverso una
ricerca sui diversi sali con diverse provenienze e caratteristiche (sale marino di Trapani, sale rosa himalayano,
sale marino pugliese, sale rosa australiano, sale marino
rosso hawaiano, sale marino nero hawaiano), sono stati
studiati trattamenti di massaggio, idromassaggio, scrub,
bagno di vapore. Ed è stata introdotta anche la “grotta
di sale”, un trattamento di provenienza est-europea,
che consiste in una micronizzazione salina in ambiente,
la cui inalazione rafforza le difese immunitarie e cura
patologie inalatorie, in una stanza dal pavimento di
sale, con le pareti e soffitto completamente rivestite
di sale, così che all’effetto benefico del trattamento si
aggiunge l’effetto positivo della suggestione. I camerini
per i trattamenti sono concepiti in maniera innovativa.
Ognuno di essi è una mini suite spa, che attraverso
l’apertura di una porta scorrevole a tutta ampiezza si
trasforma in una suite per due, dove si può fare un percorso esclusivo. Si può scegliere di fare l’idromassaggio
ipersalino nella vasca idromassaggio per due, seguita da
doccia e massaggio; si può fare l’idromassaggio individuale, seguito dal massaggio e dal relax a terra, su un
tappeto fra morbidi cuscini davanti al caminetto acceso;
oppure fare il bagno di vapore ai sali del mondo, per
due, seguito da massaggio e dal relax esclusivo davanti
al caminetto. Completano l’offerta i trattamenti ayurvedici e orientali. Il centro ha anche una piscina, che è
stata completamente rinnovata, trasformandola in un
percorso acquatico a più postazioni: idromassaggi a
più altezze per la tonicità delle gambe, panca idromassaggio, piastra millebolle e getti cervicali. Dalla piscina
si accede all’area umida, con sauna, bagno di vapore,
fontana del ghiaccio e docce emozionali. Il bagno di
vapore è un piccolo gioiello, completamente rivestito
di mosaico bianco iridescente, e dal ricchissimo pavimento dalle grandi margherite bianche e nere, scelte
perché creano una suggestione di stelle alpine, senza
che il riferimento risulti scontato. Sulle panche nascono
due originali cilindri d’acqua, fontane verticali, che cambiano colore grazie alla tecnologia LED, e si riflettono
sulle pareti. Bianco e oro sono i colori che dominano
nella progettazione. Le pareti hanno una tinteggiatura
bianca, con riflessi argentei, i mosaici sono iridescenti:
tutto riconduce allo scintillìo del sale, con un tocco di
raffinatezza. La zona relax è una stanza raccolta, che
consente di bere una tisana di fronte alla fiamma accesa. E per gli sportivi, o comunque per mantenersi in
forma, l’area fitness, che si affaccia sulla piscina n
Hotel Spinale, a traditional four-star establishment,
has always been a leading interpreter of the refined,
demanding spirit of the skiers and hikers that
flock to Madonna di Campiglio (Trento) for its one
hundred kilometres of snowy runs, and the fashionable
elegance of its town centre, boutiques, restaurants
and night life. With its long-standing commitment to
quality service levels, the Hotel was one of the first
in the area to open a swimming pool and wellness
centre, which have now been fully renovated. The
hotel management, represented by Gabriella Rigatti
Lazzara, chairwoman of Vita Nova, an association
representing a top class group of hotels in Trentino
featuring spas and high service levels, was eager
to broaden the range of services it offered and
give the spa a face-lift, creating a leading wellness
centre distinguished by the quality of its treatments.
Confirming this commitment to quality was the
decision to appoint the thalassotherapy expert Fausto
Bonsignori, who firmly grounded the project in the real
value of therapy and not just the simple appearance of
health and well-being. Salt was chosen as the unifying
thread of the centre for its evocative appearance,
reminiscent of snow, and for its medical value. Taking
inspiration from the “salts of the world”, a range of
massage, whirlpool, scrub, and steam bath treatments
was put together, based on a diverse variety of salts
from different parts of the world and with different
characteristics (sea salt from Trapani, Himalayan
pink salt, sea salt from Apulia, Australian pink salt,
and red and black sea salt from Hawaii). An eastern
European-style “salt cave” was also created, consisting
of the micronization of salt in a controlled environment
for inhalation treatments designed to boost the
immune system and treat respiratory pathologies.
The cave features salt-covered floors, walls and
ceilings, adding the positive effect of evocation to the
beneficial effects of treatment. The treatment booths
were also conceived in a highly innovative way. Each
booth is designed as a mini spa suite, which can be
transformed into a suite for two by opening a sliding
door, for a truly exclusive spa experience. Packages
include a hyper-saline whirlpool bath for two, followed
by shower and massage; an individual whirlpool bath,
followed by massage and relaxation session on a floor
carpet with soft cushions, in front of a lit fire; and a salts
of the world steam bath for two, followed by massage
and exclusive relaxation session in front of the fire.
Ayurvedic and oriental treatments complete the range
on offer. The wellness centre features a fully renovated
swimming pool that has been transformed into a multistation aquatic centre, including whirlpool stations at
different depths for toning legs, a whirlpool bench, bubble
plate and neck jets. The pool area opens up onto a
wet area, featuring a sauna, steam bath, ice fountain
and emotional shower. The steam bath is a true jewel,
lined with iridescent white mosaic tiles and featuring a
wonderful pavement of large white and black daisies,
chosen for their being reminiscent of edelweiss, without
being overly obvious. Two original vertical fountains,
consisting of water cylinders, sit on each bench, whose
changing colours, based on LED technology, are reflected
on the walls. White and gold are the two colours that
dominate the interiors. The walls are all painted white
with silvery hues, with iridescent mosaic tiles. The effect
reproduces the glimmer of salt, with a touch of class. The
relaxation area consists of a cosy room, where herbal tea
is served in front of a lit fire. A fitness area overlooking
the pool is also available for the sport inclined, and to
help keep patrons in shape n
