WICHTIGE HINWEISE
1.1 Allgemein
Lesen Sie diese Gebrauchsanweisung vollständig durch. Bewahren Sie sie zum späteren Nachschlagen auf. Bei Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanweisung können Verletzungen oder
Schäden am Produkt nicht ausgeschlossen werden.
Bei anhaltenden Beschwerden oder gesundheitlicher Verschlechterung unterbrechen Sie die Anwendung und kontaktieren Sie umgehend Ihren Arzt.
1.2 Informationen zur Gebrauchsanweisung
Diese Gebrauchsanweisung ist für den Anwender zu Hause bestimmt. Für Fachpersonal ist eine separate Gebrauchsanweisung erhältlich.
Gebrauchsanweisungen können Sie bei Verlust bei der
PARI GmbH bestellen [siehe: Kontakt, Seite 25]. Für einzelne
Produkte sind die Gebrauchsanweisungen sowohl in deutscher
als auch in englischer Sprache im Internet abrufbar:

1.3 Therapie von Babys, Kindern und
hilfsbedürftigen Personen
Babys, Kinder und hilfsbedürftige Personen dürfen nur unter
ständiger Aufsicht eines Erwachsenen inhalieren. Nur so ist eine sichere und wirksame Therapie gewährleistet. Diese Personengruppe schätzt oftmals Gefährdungen (z.B. Strangulation
mit dem Netzkabel oder dem Anschlussschlauch) falsch ein,
wodurch eine Verletzungsgefahr bestehen kann.
Das Produkt enthält Kleinteile. Kleinteile können die Atemwege
blockieren und zu einer Erstickungsgefahr führen. Achten Sie
daher darauf, dass Sie den Kompressor, den Vernebler und

das Zubehör stets außer Reichweite von Babys und Kleinkindern aufbewahren.
Für die Behandlung von Babys und Kleinkindern, die noch
nicht mit dem Mundstück inhalieren können, gibt es spezielle
Masken.
Die Vernebler sind nur für Patienten geeignet, die selbständig
atmen und bei Bewusstsein sind. Nur so wird eine wirksame
Therapie ermöglicht und eine Erstickungsgefahr vermieden.
1.4 Therapie von Patienten mit einer operativ
angelegten Öffnung der Luftröhre
(Tracheostoma)
Tracheostomierte Patienten können nicht mit dem Mundstück
inhalieren und benötigen deshalb zum Inhalieren das PARI
TRACHEO SET mit einer speziellen Tracheomaske. Bei Verwendung der Tracheomaske darf das Einatemventil nicht auf
den Vernebler aufgesteckt werden. Dies gewährleistet eine ungehinderte Ausatmung und vermeidet die Gefahr einer Atemnot.
1.5 Hygiene
Beachten Sie folgende Hygienehinweise:
– Verwenden Sie nur gereinigte und getrocknete Produktbestandteile. Verunreinigungen und Restfeuchte führen zu
Keimwachstum, wodurch eine erhöhte Infektionsgefahr besteht.
– Waschen Sie sich vor jeder Benutzung und Reinigung
gründlich die Hände.
– Führen Sie die Reinigung und Trocknung unbedingt auch
vor der ersten Anwendung durch.
– Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen und Desinfizieren stets frisches, kalkarmes Wasser.

– Achten Sie auf ausreichende Trocknung aller Einzelteile
nach jeder Reinigung und Desinfektion.
– Bewahren Sie das Produkt und das Zubehör nicht in feuchter Umgebung oder zusammen mit feuchten Gegenständen
auf.

VORSICHT
Die in jeder Garnitur enthaltene PARI SOLE N Basis-Einheit
darf nicht mehr verwendet werden. Entsorgen Sie die
PARI SOLE N Basis-Einheit [siehe: Entsorgung, Seite 24]
und ersetzen Sie sie durch den PARI Luftanschluss (1e).

2.2 Zweckbestimmung
Der PARI SOLE N Vernebler ist ein Medikamentenvernebler,
der zusammen mit einem PARI Kompressor für eine Inhalationstherapie der oberen und zentralen Atemwege vorgesehen
ist. Der Vernebler ist für Kinder ab ca. 4 Jahre und für Erwachsene anwendbar.
Es dürfen nur original PARI Kompressoren und PARI Zubehör
verwendet werden. Die PARI GmbH haftet nicht für Schäden,
die beim Betreiben von PARI Verneblern mit Kompressoren
oder Zubehör anderer Hersteller auftreten.
Die Gebrauchsanweisung des verwendeten Kompressors
sowie des Zubehörs sind zu beachten.
Erweiterte Zweckbestimmung für den professsionellen
Einsatz
Der Vernebler kann zusammen mit einem PARI Kompressor
oder mit dem PARI CENTRAL1 in einer medizinischen Einrichtung betrieben werden. Er kann bei Beachtung der besonderen
Anforderungen an die hygienische Aufbereitung für verschiedene Patienten verwendet werden.
2.3 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Das Produkt ist nur für Patienten geeignet, die selbständig
atmen und bei Bewusstsein sind.
Nur für die Inhalationstherapie zugelassene Medikamente dürfen verwendet werden. Beachten Sie eventuelle Einschränkungen in der Gebrauchsinformation des jeweiligen Medikaments.

2.7 Lebensdauer
Der PARI SOLE N hat eine zu erwartende durchschnittliche
Lebensdauer von:
– max. 3 Jahre bei Verwendung im häuslichen Bereich
– max. 1 Jahr bei Verwendung im Klinikbereich
Tauschen Sie den Düsentrichter und den Anschlussschlauch
auch bei einer Verwendung im häuslichen Bereich spätestens
nach einem Jahr aus, da sich das Material mit der Zeit verändern kann. Die Wirksamkeit der Therapie kann dadurch beeinträchtigt werden.

INHALATION
3.1 Montage des Verneblers
VORSICHT
Überprüfen Sie alle Verneblerbestandteile und das Zubehör
vor jeder Anwendung. Ersetzen Sie gebrochene, verformte
oder stark verfärbte Teile. Beachten Sie außerdem die nachfolgenden Montagehinweise. Beschädigte Einzelteile sowie
ein falsch montierter Vernebler können die Funktion des
Verneblers und damit die Therapie beeinträchtigen.
Prüfen und korrigieren Sie die Position des Schlauches im Düsentrichter:
• Schieben Sie den Schlauch so
weit wie möglich auf das
Kunststoffröhrchen (f).
• Ziehen Sie den Schlauch vorsichtig nach unten, so dass er
möglichst krümmungsfrei verläuft.
Nur wenn der Schlauch mit der richtigen Länge in das Verneblerunterteil ragt, ist sichergestellt, dass das Medikament
nahezu vollständig vernebelt wird.

• Stecken Sie das Vernebleroberteil auf das Verneblermittelteil.
• Stecken Sie den Düsentrichter
in das Verneblerunterteil.
Achten Sie dabei darauf, dass
der Luftanschluss (g) in die dafür vorgesehene Aufnahmehülse (h) des Verneblerunterteils
eingeführt wird.
• Schieben Sie den PARI Luftanschluss von unten in die Aufnahme des Verneblerunterteils.
• Stecken Sie den Anschlussschlauch an den Luftanschlussstutzen.

3.2 Inhalationslösung einfüllen
• Füllen Sie die vom Arzt angewiesene Menge Medikament
mit dem Messbecher in das
Verneblerunterteil ein (maximale Füllmenge: 15 ml).
• Setzen Sie das Verneblermittelteil auf das Verneblerunterteil.
Achten Sie dabei darauf, dass
die blauen Markierungen eine
Linie bilden.
• Drehen Sie das Verneblermittelteil im Uhrzeigersinn bis zum
Anschlag, so dass die beiden
Komponenten fest miteinander
verbunden sind.

3.3 Zubehör montieren
…für eine Inhalation mit Mundstück
• Stecken Sie das Mundstück
auf den Vernebler auf.
…für eine Inhalation mit Nasenansatz
• Stecken Sie das Mundstück
auf den Vernebler auf.
• Stecken Sie den Nasenansatz
auf das Mundstück auf.
…für eine Inhalation mit Maske
• Stecken Sie die Maske auf den
Vernebler auf.
Bei Verwendung der Maske achten Sie darauf, dass das
Ausatemventilplättchen nach außen gedrückt ist, damit Sie
während der Inhalation ungehindert ausatmen können.
…für eine Inhalation mit PARI TRACHEO SET
• Stecken Sie das PARI TRACHEO SET auf den Vernebler
auf.
Achten Sie dabei auf die richtige Ausrichtung der Tracheomaske.

3.4 Inhalation durchführen
Vergewissern Sie sich vor der Inhalation, dass alle Teile fest
miteinander verbunden sind.
• Schließen Sie den Anschlussschlauch am Kompressor an
und schalten Sie den Kompressor ein.
• Setzen Sie sich entspannt und aufrecht hin.
... bei einer Inhalation mit Mundstück
• Nehmen Sie das Mundstück zwischen die Zähne und umschließen Sie es mit den Lippen.
• Atmen Sie möglichst langsam und tief durch das Mundstück
ein und entspannt wieder aus.
... bei einer Inhalation mit Nasenansatz
• Setzen Sie den Nasenansatz vorsichtig an Ihrer Nase an.
• Atmen Sie möglichst langsam und tief durch die Nase ein
und entspannt wieder aus.
... bei einer Inhalation mit Maske
• Setzen Sie die Maske so auf, dass sie Mund und Nase dicht
umschließt.
• Atmen Sie möglichst langsam und tief durch die Maske ein
und entspannt wieder aus.
... bei einer Inhalation mit PARI TRACHEO SET
• Setzen Sie die Tracheomaske so auf, dass sie das Tracheostoma dicht umschließt.
Achten Sie dabei auf die richtige Ausrichtung der Tracheomaske.
• Atmen Sie möglichst langsam und tief durch die Tracheomaske ein und entspannt wieder aus.
Wenn die Inhalation beendet ist, schalten Sie den Kompressor
aus.

Intervallvernebelung
• Drücken Sie die Unterbrechertaste (k).
Ein feines Aerosol strömt aus
dem Vernebler.
• Atmen Sie möglichst ruhig
durch den Vernebler ein.
• Lassen Sie die Unterbrechertaste los und atmen Sie entspannt durch den Vernebler
aus.
Die ausgeatmete Luft tritt
durch den Ausatemschlitz (i)
am Vernebler aus.
• Wiederholen Sie das Ein- und
Ausatmen wie beschrieben, bis
ein verändertes Geräusch im
Vernebler signalisiert, dass
das Medikament verbraucht
ist.
• Prüfen Sie, ob noch Aerosol
deutlich sichtbar aus dem Vernebler strömt (dazu Unterbrechertaste drücken).
• Beenden Sie die Behandlung,
sobald das Aerosol nur noch
unregelmäßig austritt.

Dauervernebelung
• Fixieren Sie die Unterbrechertaste (k), indem Sie diese
drücken und dabei gleichzeitig
nach oben schieben.
Die Inhalation erfolgt wie bei der
Intervallverneblung, nur dass die
Unterbrechertaste nicht immer
wieder gedrückt werden muss.
Die Inhalation von 15 ml Inhalationslösung dauert bei kontinuierlicher Verneblung ca. 10 Minuten (je nach verwendetem Kompressor). Bei Verwendung der Unterbrechertaste
für den Intervallbetrieb verlängert sich die Inhalationszeit
entsprechend.
4
REINIGUNG UND DESINFEKTION ZU HAUSE
Der Vernebler und das verwendete Zubehör müssen nach jeder Anwendung gründlich gereinigt und mindestens einmal täglich desinfiziert werden.
Der Anschlussschlauch kann weder gereinigt noch desinfiziert werden.
4.1 Vorbereitung
• Ziehen Sie den Schlauch vom Vernebler ab.
• Entfernen Sie alle Reste der Inhalationslösung aus dem
Vernebler.
• Zerlegen Sie den Vernebler in alle Einzelteile.
• Spülen Sie alle Einzelteile des Verneblers unter fließendem
Leitungswasser kurz vor. Tun Sie dies besonders gründlich,
wenn die Reinigung und Desinfektion nicht sofort durchgeführt wird.

4.2 Pflege des Anschlussschlauches
• Schließen Sie den Anschlussschlauch an den Kompressor
an.
• Schalten Sie Ihren Kompressor ein.
• Lassen Sie den Kompressor so lange arbeiten, bis die durch
den Schlauch strömende Luft einen eventuellen Feuchtigkeitsniederschlag im Schlauch beseitigt hat.
4.3 Reinigung
• Legen Sie alle Einzelteile ca. 5 Minuten lang in warmes Leitungswasser mit etwas Spülmittel. Verwenden Sie bei grober Verschmutzung ggf. eine saubere Bürste (diese Bürste
darf ausschließlich für diesen Zweck benutzt werden).
• Spülen Sie alle Teile gründlich unter fließendem Wasser ab.
• Beschleunigen Sie das Abtropfen des Wassers durch Ausschütteln aller Teile.
Um eine Verstopfung der Düse zu vermeiden, gehen Sie wie
folgt vor:
• Bauen Sie den Vernebler wieder zusammen.
• Schalten Sie den Kompressor ein.
• Füllen Sie frisches, kalkarmes, ggf. abgekochtes oder destilliertes Wasser ein und vernebeln Sie das Wasser, bis aus
dem Vernebler kein Aerosol mehr austritt.
• Schalten Sie den Kompressor wieder aus.
• Zerlegen Sie den Vernebler nochmals.
• Schütten Sie das angesammelte Wasser aus.
Beschleunigen Sie das Abtropfen des Wassers durch Ausschütteln aller Teile.

HINWEIS
Die Düse muss nach jeder Inhalation gereinigt werden, da
sonst Reste der Inhalationslösung in der Düse nach kurzer
Zeit kristallisieren und dadurch die Düse verstopfen.
Wenn die Düse verstopft ist: [siehe: Was tun, wenn ..., Seite 22]
4.4 Desinfektion
Desinfizieren Sie den zerlegten Vernebler und das verwendete
Zubehör (außer den Anschlussschlauch) im Anschluss an die
Reinigung (nur ein gereinigter Vernebler kann wirksam desinfiziert werden).
Information bei Verwendung von Masken mit Gummiband:
Das Gummiband kann nur gereinigt werden, da es durch
die hohen Temperaturen beim Desinfizieren beschädigt
werden kann.
VORSICHT
Eine feuchte Umgebung begünstigt Keimwachstum. Entnehmen Sie daher alle Teile unmittelbar nach Beendigung der
Desinfektion aus dem Kochtopf bzw. aus dem Desinfektionsgerät. Trocknen Sie die Teile. Eine vollständige Trocknung
reduziert die Infektionsgefahr.

In kochendem Wasser
• Legen Sie alle Einzelteile mind. 5 Minuten in kochendes
Wasser.
Verwenden Sie einen sauberen Kochtopf und frisches, kalkarmes Wasser.
Kunststoff schmilzt bei Berührung mit dem heißen Topfboden. Achten Sie deshalb auf ausreichenden Wasserstand
im Topf. Damit vermeiden Sie eine Beschädigung der Einzelteile.
• Beschleunigen Sie das Abtropfen des Wassers durch Ausschütteln aller Teile.
Mit einem handelsüblichen, thermischen
Desinfektionsgerät für Babyflaschen (keine
Mikrowelle)
Verwenden Sie für eine wirksame Desinfektion ein thermisches
Desinfektionsgerät mit einer Laufzeit von mindestens 6 Minuten. Für die Durchführung der Desinfektion, die Dauer des
Desinfektionsvorgangs sowie die erforderliche Wassermenge
beachten Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung des verwendeten Desinfektionsgerätes.
VORSICHT
Eine unzureichende Desinfektion begünstigt Keimwachstum
und erhöht damit die Infektionsgefahr. Die Desinfektion ist
erst wirksam durchgeführt, wenn sich das Desinfektionsgerät
automatisch abgeschaltet hat bzw. die in der Gebrauchsanweisung des Desinfektionsgeräts angegebene MindestDesinfektionszeit erreicht ist. Schalten Sie das Gerät daher
nicht vorzeitig ab. Achten Sie außerdem auf dessen Sauberkeit und überprüfen Sie regelmäßig die Funktionsfähigkeit.

4.5 Visuelle Kontrolle
Überprüfen Sie alle Produktbestandteile nach jeder Reinigung
und Desinfektion. Ersetzen Sie gebrochene, verformte oder
stark verfärbte Teile.
4.6 Trocknung und Aufbewahrung
• Legen Sie alle Teile auf eine trockene, saubere und saugfähige Unterlage und lassen Sie sie vollständig trocknen.
• Schlagen Sie den Vernebler in ein sauberes, fusselfreies
Tuch ein (z.B. Geschirrtuch) und bewahren Sie ihn an einem trockenen, staubfreien Ort auf.
4.7 Was tun, wenn ...
... aus dem Vernebler kein Medikament kommt?
Wenn kein Medikament vernebelt wird, könnte die Düse verstopft sein. Gehen Sie in diesem Fall folgendermaßen vor:
• Durchstoßen Sie die Düsenbohrung vorsichtig von oben
mit dem Düsenreiniger.
HINWEIS:
Bei der Verwendung des Düsenreinigers besteht die Gefahr, den
Schlauch zu beschädigen. Achten
Sie darauf, dass der Schlauch
nicht durchstoßen und die kleine
Düsenbohrung nicht zerstört wird.
Ersetzen Sie bei wiederholter
Verstopfung den Düsentrichter.
Verwenden Sie nur original
PARI Düsenreiniger.

Wenn der Vernebler undicht ist, müssen die Dichtungsringe
ausgetauscht werden:

5.1 Entsorgung
Dieses Produkt fällt in den Geltungsbereich der WEEE2. Demnach darf dieses Produkt nicht über den Hausmüll entsorgt
werden. Es sind die jeweiligen landesspezifischen Entsorgungsregeln zu beachten (z. B. Entsorgung über die Kommunen oder Händler). Materialrecycling hilft, den Verbrauch von
Rohstoffen zu verringern und die Umwelt zu schützen.

1.1 General
Please read these instructions for use carefully and completely.
Do not discard, so you can consult them at a later date. If you
fail to comply with the instructions for use, injury or damage to
the device cannot be ruled out.
If symptoms persist or if your condition worsens, discontinue the application and contact your doctor immediately.
1.2 Information about the instructions for use
These instructions for use are intended for the user at
home. A separate copy of instructions for use is available for
medical specialists.
If these instructions for use are lost, you can request another
copy from PARI GmbH [see: Contact, page 48]. The instructions for use for some products can be retrieved on the internet
in both German and English. Simply visit: www.pari.de/de-en/

1.3 Treatment of babies, children and anyone
who requires assistance
Babies, children and anyone who requires assistance must be
supervised constantly by an adult during inhalation therapy.
This is the only way to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Individuals in this group often underestimate the hazards involved (e.g. strangulation with the power cord or the connection tubing), thus resulting in a risk of injury.
The product contains small parts. Small parts can block the airways and lead to a choking hazard. Therefore, make sure that
you always keep the compressor, the nebuliser and the accessories out of the reach of babies and infants.

Special masks may be obtained for treating babies and infants
who are not yet able to inhale using the mouthpiece.
The nebulisers are only designed for patients who are able to
breathe by themselves and are conscious. This is the only way
to ensure effective treatment and avoid a choking hazard.
1.4 Treatment of patients with a surgically
created opening in the windpipe
(tracheostoma)
Tracheostomised patients cannot use the mouthpiece to inhale
and therefore need the PARI TRACHEO SET with a special
tracheostoma mask for an inhalation session. When the
tracheostoma mask is used, the inspiratory valve must not be
attached to the nebuliser. This ensures unobstructed expiration
and avoids the risk of shortness of breath.
1.5 Hygiene
Observe the following hygiene instructions:
– Do not use product components unless they have been
thoroughly cleaned and dried. Contamination and residual
moisture encourage the growth of bacteria, so increasing
the risk of infection.
– Before every use and cleaning, wash your hands
thoroughly.
– Make absolutely sure you also carry out cleaning and drying
before using the device for the first time.
– For cleaning and disinfection, always use fresh water with
reduced calcium content.
– Make sure all components are dried properly whenever you
have performed cleaning or disinfection.
– Do not keep the product and accessories in a damp environment or together with damp objects.

2.2 Intended purpose
The PARI SOLE N nebuliser is a medication nebuliser that is
intended for use with a PARI compressor for inhalation therapy
of the upper and central airways. The nebuliser is suitable for
use by children from approx. 4 years and by adults.
Only original PARI compressors and PARI accessories must
be used. PARI GmbH cannot be held liable for damage caused
by using PARI nebulisers with compressors or accessories
from other manufacturers.
Please read and follow the instructions for use of the compressor and of the accessories you are using.
Extended range of intended use for a professional setting
The nebuliser can be operated in conjunction with a PARI compressor or with the PARI CENTRAL1 in a medical facility. It can
be used for multiple patients provided the special requirements
regarding hygienic re-use are strictly observed.
2.3 Intended use
This product is only designed for patients who are able to
breathe by themselves and are conscious.
Only medication that has been approved for inhalation treatment must be used. Take note of any restrictions in the instructions for use of the medication in question.
2.4 Contraindications
None.

2.7 Operating life
The PARI SOLE N has an average expected operating life of:
– max. 3 years in home applications
– max. 1 year when used in hospitals
Replace the nozzle funnel and the connection tubing after a
year at the latest even in home applications, as changes can
occur in the material over time. This might impair the effectiveness of the treatment.

INHALATION
3.1 Assembling the nebuliser
CAUTION
Check all nebuliser components and the accessories before
each use. Replace any broken, misshapen or seriously
discoloured parts. Please also follow the instructions for assembly given below. Damaged components and/or an incorrectly assembled nebuliser may impair functioning of the
nebuliser and thus treatment as well.
Check and ensure that the tubing
is positioned correctly in the
nozzle funnel:
• Slide the tubing onto the small
plastic tube as far as it will
go (f).
• Gently tug the tubing downward to ensure that it is as
straight as possible.
You can only ensure that virtually all of the medication will
be inhaled if a sufficient length of tubing is protruding into
the lower section of the nebuliser.

• Insert the upper section of the
nebuliser into the middle section of the nebuliser.
• Insert the nozzle funnel in the
nebuliser lower section.
Ensure that the air connection (g) engages in the recess (h) provided for this purpose in the nebuliser's lower
section.
• Push the PARI air connection
up into the socket in the
nebuliser's lower section.
• Attach the connection tubing to
the air outlet connector.

3.2 Filling with inhalation solution
• Add the volume of medication
prescribed by your doctor into
the lower section of the
nebuliser using the dosing cap
(max. level: 15 ml).
• Place the middle section of the
nebuliser on the lower section
of the nebuliser.
Ensure that the blue marks

• Turn the upper section of the

will go until both components

3.4 Performing the inhalation
Before the patient starts inhaling, ensure that all parts are
firmly connected to each other.
• Connect the connection tubing to the compressor and
switch the compressor on.
• Sit in an upright position and relax.
... for inhalation with the mouthpiece
• Hold the mouthpiece between your teeth and enclose it with
your lips.
• Breathe in as slowly and deeply as possible through the
mouthpiece, and out again calmly.
... for inhalation with the nasal joining piece
• Carefully place the nasal joining piece on your nose.
• Breathe in as slowly and deeply as possible through the
nose, and out again calmly.
... for inhalation with the mask
• Put the mask on so that it forms an airtight seal over the
mouth and nose.
• Breathe in as slowly and deeply as possible through the
mask, and out again calmly.
... for inhalation with the PARI TRACHEO SET
• Put on the tracheostoma mask so that it forms a tight seal
over the tracheostoma.
Ensure that the tracheostoma mask is fitted the right way
round.
• Breathe in as slowly and deeply as possible through the
tracheostoma mask, and out again calmly.
When the inhalation session is over, switch the compressor off.

Intermittent nebulising
• Press the interrupter button (k).
A fine aerosol flows out of the
nebuliser.
• Inhale as slowly as possible
through the nebuliser.
• Release the interrupter button
and breathe in a relaxed manner through the nebuliser.
The exhaled air passes
through the slot (i) on the
nebuliser.
• Continue breathing in and out
as described until a change in
the sound of the nebuliser signals that the medicine has
been used up.
• Then check whether a clearly
visible mist is still flowing from
the nebuliser (press interrupter
button).
• Stop treatment as soon as the
aerosol emerges irregularly.

Continuous nebulising
• Lock the interrupter button (k)
by pressing it and simultaneously sliding the lock upwards.
Inhalation proceeds as in intermittent nebulisation, with the only difference being that you don't need
to repeatedly press the interrupter
button.
In continuous nebulisation, it takes approximately
10 minutes to inhale 15 ml inhalation solution (depending
on the compressor used). If you use the interrupter button
for intermittent operation, the inhalation time increases accordingly.

CLEANING AND DISINFECTION AT HOME
The nebuliser and the accessories used must be cleaned
thoroughly after each application and disinfected at least once
a day.
The connection tubing cannot be cleaned or disinfected.
4.1 Preparation

Detach the tubing from the nebuliser.
Remove all inhalation solution residue from the nebuliser.
Dismantle the nebuliser into its individual parts.
Rinse all components of the nebuliser under running tap water. This must be done especially thoroughly if cleaning and
disinfection are not carried out straight away.
4.2 Care of the connection tubing
• Connect the connection tubing to the compressor.
• Switch the compressor on.
• Leave the compressor running until any condensation in the
tubing has been removed by the air flowing into the tube.
4.3 Cleaning
• Place all disassembled components in warm tap water with
a little dishwashing liquid for at least 5 min. If necessary,
use a clean brush to remove loose residue (the brush must
be reserved exclusively for this purpose).
• Rinse all parts thoroughly in running water.
• You can remove excess water more quickly by shaking all
parts.

Follow the steps below to prevent the nozzle from becoming
clogged:
• Reassemble the nebuliser.
• Switch the compressor on.
• Fill with fresh, soft water, boiled if necessary, or distilled water, and nebulise it until no more aerosol comes out of the
nebuliser.
• Switch the compressor off again.
• Disassemble the nebuliser again.
• Pour out the collected water.
You can remove excess water more quickly by shaking all
parts.
NOTICE
The nozzle must be cleaned after every inhalation session,
otherwise the residues of the inhalation solution will quickly
crystallise in the nozzle and will clog the nozzle.

4.4 Disinfection
After cleaning, disinfect the dismantled nebuliser and accessories used (except for the connection tubing) (effective disinfection is only possible if the nebuliser has been cleaned).
Information when using masks with rubber bands:
The rubber band can only be cleaned as it might be damaged by the high temperatures used during disinfection.
CAUTION
A damp environment may encourage the growth of bacteria.
Therefore, remove all parts from the pot or disinfector as
soon as disinfection has finished. Dry the parts. The risk of
infection is reduced when the parts are dried completely.

In boiling water
• Place all the individual parts in boiling water for at least
5 minutes.
Use a clean pot and fresh water with reduced calcium
content, if possible.
Plastic will melt if it comes into contact with the hot base of
the pot. Therefore, make sure there is plenty of water in the
pot. This way you will avoid damaging the components.
• You can remove excess water more quickly by shaking all
parts.
Using a standard thermal disinfector for baby
bottles (not a microwave oven)
For effective disinfection, use a disinfector with a runtime of at
least 6 minutes. Regarding disinfection, the duration of the disinfection procedure and the quantity of water required for this,
follow the instructions for use of the disinfector you are using.
CAUTION
Inadequate disinfection encourages the growth of bacteria
and thus increases the risk of infection. Thorough disinfection has not been completed until the disinfector automatically switches itself off, or the minimum disinfection time specified in the instructions for use of the disinfector has
elapsed. Therefore, do not switch the device off prematurely.
Also make sure that the disinfector is kept clean and regularly check that it is in good working order.
4.5 Visual inspection
Inspect all product components after each cleaning and disinfection. Replace any broken, misshapen or seriously
discoloured parts.

4.6 Drying and storage
• Place all parts on a dry, clean and absorbent surface and let
them dry completely.
• Wrap the nebuliser in a clean, lint-free cloth (e.g., a teatowel) and keep it in a dry, dust-free environment.
4.7 What should I do if ...
... no medication comes out of the nebuliser?
If no medication is being nebulised, this might be because the
nozzle is blocked. In this case, proceed as follows:
• Carefully push the nozzle
cleaner through the nozzle
hole from above.
NOTICE:
There is a risk of damaging the
tubing when using the nozzle
cleaner. Please take care not to
perforate the tubing or destroy the
small nozzle hole. If blockage occurs repeatedly, replace the
nozzle funnel. Only use an original PARI nozzle cleaner.

If the nebuliser is leaking, the gaskets must be replaced:

5.1 Disposal
This product falls within the scope of the European Council Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)2.
Accordingly, this product must not be disposed of with domestic waste. The disposal regulations prevailing in the respective member countries must be observed (e.g., disposal by
local authorities or dealers). Materials recycling helps to reduce
the consumption of raw materials and protect the environment.

1.3 Thérapie des bébés, enfants et personnes
dépendantes
Les bébés, les enfants et les personnes dépendantes ne
doivent effectuer les inhalations que sous la surveillance permanente d'un adulte. C'est indispensable pour garantir une
thérapie sûre et efficace. Ce groupe de personnes mésestime
souvent les dangers (par ex. strangulation avec le câble secteur ou le tuyau de raccordement), ce qui peut entraîner un
risque de blessure.

Le produit contient de petites pièces. Les petites pièces
peuvent bloquer les voies respiratoires et entraîner un risque
d'asphyxie. Veillez à toujours garder le compresseur, le nébuliseur et les accessoires hors de portée des bébés et des jeunes
enfants.
Il existe des masques spéciaux pour le traitement des bébés et
jeunes enfants ne pouvant pas encore inhaler avec l'embout
buccal.
Les nébuliseurs conviennent uniquement aux patients qui respirent de manière autonome et qui sont conscients. De cette
manière, une thérapie efficace est possible et un risque d'asphyxie est évité.
1.4 Thérapie des patients avec une ouverture
pratiquée dans la trachée au cours d'une
intervention (trachéotomie)
Les patients trachéotomisés ne peuvent pas inhaler avec l'embout buccal et nécessitent en conséquence pour l'inhalation le
PARI TRACHEO SET avec un masque de trachéotomie spécial. Lors de l'utilisation de masque de trachéotomie, la valve
inspiratoire ne doit pas être montée sur le nébuliseur. Cela garantit une expiration non entravée et évite le risque d'une détresse respiratoire.
1.5 Hygiène
Respectez les consignes d'hygiène suivantes :
– Utilisez uniquement des éléments du produit nettoyés et séchés. Les salissures et l'humidité résiduelle entraînent une
croissance de germes, avec en conséquence une augmentation du risque d'infection.
– Avant chaque utilisation et nettoyage, lavez-vous les mains
soigneusement.

– Réalisez le nettoyage et le séchage absolument avant la
première utilisation.
– Pour le nettoyage et la désinfection, utilisez toujours de
l'eau fraîche et peu calcaire.
– Veillez à un séchage suffisant de toutes les pièces après le
nettoyage et la désinfection.
– Ne conservez pas le produit et les accessoires dans un environnement humide ou avec des objets humides.

Le nébuliseur PARI SOLE N est un nébuliseur de médicaments prévu en association avec un compresseur PARI pour
une aérosolthérapie des voies respiratoires supérieures et centrales. Le nébuliseur peut être utilisé pour les enfants dès
4 ans env. et les adultes.
Seuls des compresseurs PARI et des accessoires PARI d'origine peuvent être utilisés. PARI GmbH ne peut être rendu responsable de dommages survenant lors de l'utilisation de nébuliseurs PARI avec des compresseurs ou des accessoires
d'autres marques.
Les notices d'utilisation du compresseur ou des accessoires concernés doivent être respectées.
Affectation étendue pour l'utilisation professionnelle
Le nébuliseur peut fonctionner avec un compresseur PARI ou
avec le PARI CENTRAL1 dans un dispositif médical. Il peut
être utilisé en respectant les exigences particulières posées
envers les préparations en matière d'hygiène pour différents
patients.

2.7 Durée de vie
Le PARI SOLE N a une durée de vie moyenne de :
– 3 ans au max. en utilisation à domicile
– 1 an au max. en utilisation hospitalière
Remplacez l'entonnoir du gicleur et le tuyau de raccordement,
même en cas d'une utilisation à domicile, au plus tard après un
an puisque le matériau peut s'altérer au fil du temps. L'efficacité de la thérapie peut être altérée en conséquence.

INHALATION
3.1 Montage du nébuliseur
PRUDENCE
Contrôlez tous les éléments du nébuliseur et les accessoires
avant utilisation. Remplacez les pièces cassées, déformées
ou ayant fortement déteint. Respectez en outre les
consignes de montage suivantes. Les pièces endommagées
et un nébuliseur mal monté peuvent altérer le fonctionnement du nébuliseur et en conséquence la thérapie.
Contrôlez et corrigez la position
du tuyau dans l'entonnoir du gicleur :
• Glissez le tuyau aussi loin que
possible sur le petit tube plastique (f).
• Tirez avec précaution le tuyau
vers le bas de sorte à avoir le
moins de courbe possible.
Il est possible de garantir que le médicament soit presque
entièrement nébulisé lorsque la bonne longueur du tuyau
arrive dans la partie inférieure du nébuliseur.

• Placez la partie supérieure du
nébuliseur sur la partie centrale du nébuliseur.
• Placez l'entonnoir du gicleur
dans la partie inférieure du nébuliseur.
Veillez à ce que le raccord de
l’air (g) soit introduit dans le
manchon récepteur prévu (h)
de la partie inférieure du nébuliseur.
• Insérez le raccord de l'air
PARI par le dessous dans le
logement de la partie inférieure
du nébuliseur.
• Branchez le tuyau de raccordement sur le manchon du raccord de l'air.

3.2 Versement de la solution d'inhalation
• Versez la quantité de médicament prescrite par le médecin
à l'aide du doseur dans la partie inférieure du nébuliseur
(quantité de remplissage maximale : 15 ml).
• Placez la partie centrale sur la
partie inférieure du nébuliseur.
Veillez à ce que les marquages bleus soient alignés.
• Tournez la partie centrale du
nébuliseur dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre jusqu'à la
butée ; les deux composants
doivent être bien reliés l'un à
l'autre.

• Enfichez le PARI TRACHEO SET sur le nébuliseur.
Veillez à ce que le masque de trachéotomie soit correctement positionné.

3.4 Exécution de l'inhalation
Assurez-vous avant l'inhalation que tous les éléments sont
bien reliés les uns aux autres.
• Raccordez le tuyau de raccordement au compresseur et
mettez le compresseur sous tension.
• Prenez une position détendue. Tenez-vous bien droit.
... en cas d'inhalation avec l'embout buccal
• Maintenez l’embout buccal entre les dents et serrez les
lèvres autour de celui-ci.
• Inspirez si possible lentement et profondément par l'embout
buccal, puis expirez en étant détendu.
... en cas d'inhalation avec l'embout nasal
• Positionnez avec précaution l'embout nasal sur votre nez.
• Inspirez si possible lentement et profondément par le nez,
puis expirez en étant détendu.
... en cas d'inhalation avec le masque
• Posez le masque de façon à bien recouvrir la bouche et le
nez.
• Inspirez si possible lentement et profondément à travers le
masque, puis expirez en étant détendu.
... en cas d'inhalation avec le PARI TRACHEO SET
• Placez le masque de trachéotomie de sorte à bien recouvrir
la trachéotomie.
Veillez à ce que le masque de trachéotomie soit correctement positionné.
• Inspirez si possible lentement et profondément à travers le
masque de trachéotomie, puis expirez en étant détendu.
Lorsque l'inhalation est terminé, arrêtez le compresseur.

Nébulisation intermittente
• Appuyez sur la touche de l’interrupteur (k).
Le médicament est pulvérisé
hors du nébuliseur sous forme
de fin aérosol.
• Inspirez aussi calmement que
possible à travers le nébuliseur.
• Relâchez la touche de l'interrupteur et respirez en étant détendu à travers le nébuliseur.
L’air expiré s’échappe à travers la fente d’expiration (i) sur
le nébuliseur.
• Répétez l’inspiration et l’expiration jusqu’à ce qu’un nouveau bruit dans le nébuliseur
signale que le médicament est
consommé.
• Vérifiez que l'aérosol
s'échappe encore de manière
nettement visible du nébuliseur
(appuyez pour cela sur la
touche de l’interrupteur).
• Interrompez le traitement dès
que l'aérosol ne sort plus qu’irrégulièrement.

Nébulisation permanente
• Bloquez la touche de l’interrupteur (k) en appuyant sur celleci et en la poussant simultanément vers le haut.
L'inhalation s'effectue comme
pour une nébulisation intermittente mais il n'y a plus besoin
d'appuyer sans arrêt sur la touche
de l'interrupteur.
L'inhalation de 15 ml de la solution d'inhalation dure environ 10 minutes en cas de nébulisation continue (selon le
compresseur utilisé). En cas d'utilisation de la touche de
l’interrupteur pour le fonctionnement par intervalle, la durée
de l'inhalation se rallonge en conséquence.

NETTOYAGE ET DÉSINFECTION À DOMICILE
Le nébuliseur et les accessoires utilisés doivent être nettoyés
soigneusement après chaque utilisation et être désinfectés au
minimum une fois par jour.
Le tuyau de raccordement ne peut pas être nettoyé ni désinfecté.
4.1 Préparation
• Débranchez le tuyau du nébuliseur.
• Retirez tous les restes de la solution d'inhalation du nébuliseur.
• Démontez toutes les pièces du nébuliseur.
• Rincez brièvement toutes les pièces du nébuliseur sous
l'eau courante du robinet. Effectuez ceci particulièrement
avec soin lorsque le nettoyage et la désinfection ne sont pas
effectués immédiatement.

4.2 Entretien du tuyau de raccordement
• Branchez le tuyau de raccordement au compresseur.
• Mettez votre compresseur en marche.
• Faites tourner le compresseur jusqu’à ce que l’air qui passe
par le tuyau ait éliminé la condensation éventuelle dans le
tuyau.
4.3 Nettoyage
• Placez toutes les pièces environ 5 minutes dans de l'eau
chaude du robinet avec un peu de produit de vaisselle. En
cas de salissure importante, utilisez éventuellement une
brosse propre (cette brosse ne peut être utilisée exclusivement qu'à cette fin).
• Rincez toutes les pièces soigneusement sous l'eau courante.
• Vous pouvez accélérer le séchage en secouant toutes les
pièces pour faire partir l'eau rapidement.
Pour que le gicleur ne se bouche pas, procédez comme suit :
• Assemblez le nébuliseur de nouveau.
• Mettez le compresseur en marche.
• Versez de l’eau fraîche, à faible teneur en calcaire, le cas
échéant bouillie ou distillée, et vaporisez l’eau jusqu'à ce
que le nébuliseur ne rejette plus d'aérosol.
• Mettez le compresseur de nouveau hors tension.
• Démontez encore le compresseur.
• Secouez ensuite les pièces pour que l’eau s’égoutte plus facilement.
Vous pouvez accélérer le séchage en secouant toutes les
pièces pour faire partir l'eau rapidement.

REMARQUE
Après chaque inhalation, le gicleur doit être nettoyé car, sinon, des résidus de la solution d'inhalation pourrait cristalliser rapidement dans le gicleur et en conséquence le boucher.

4.4 Désinfection
Désinfectez le nébuliseur démonté et les accessoires utilisés
(sauf le tuyau de raccordement) juste après le nettoyage (seul
un nébuliseur nettoyé peut être désinfecté efficacement).
Information en cas d'utilisation des masques avec un
ruban en caoutchouc :
Le ruban en caoutchouc peut être uniquement nettoyé car
il peut être endommagé lors de la désinfection en raison
des températures élevées.
PRUDENCE
Un environnement humide favorise la formation de germes.
En conséquence, retirez les différentes pièces et les accessoires dès la fin de la désinfection de la casserole ou de l'appareil de désinfection. Séchez les pièces. Un séchage complet réduit le risque d'infection.
Dans l'eau bouillante
• Placez toutes les pièces démontées dans l’eau en ébullition
durant 5 minutes au minimum.
Utilisez une casserole propre et de l'eau fraîche et peu calcaire.
Le plastique fond lorsqu'il est contact avec le fond chaud
de la casserole. Veillez à avoir un niveau d'eau suffisant
dans la casserole. Vous évitez en conséquence d'endommager les différentes pièces.
• Vous pouvez accélérer le séchage en secouant toutes les
pièces pour faire partir l'eau rapidement.

Avec un appareil de désinfection thermique en
usage dans le commerce pour les biberons (pas
de micro-ondes)
Pour une désinfection efficace, utilisez un appareil de désinfection thermique pendant 6 minutes au minimum. Pour réaliser la
désinfection, connaître la durée de l'opération de désinfection
et la quantité d'eau nécessaire, respectez absolument la notice
d'utilisation de l'appareil de désinfection utilisé.
PRUDENCE
Une désinfection insuffisante favorise la croissance de
germes et augmente ainsi le risque d'infections. La désinfection est réalisée efficacement uniquement si l'appareil de
désinfection s'est coupé automatiquement ou si la durée minimale de désinfection indiquée dans la notice d'utilisation de
l'appareil de désinfection est atteinte. Ne coupez en conséquence jamais l'appareil de manière anticipée. Veillez à sa
propreté et contrôlez régulièrement sa capacité à fonctionner.
4.5 Contrôle visuel
Contrôlez tous les éléments du produit après chaque nettoyage et désinfection. Remplacez les pièces cassées, déformées ou ayant fortement déteint.

4.6 Séchage et conservation
• Placez toutes les pièces sur un revêtement sec, propre et
absorbant et laissez-les entièrement sécher.
• Enroulez le nébuliseur dans un tissu propre qui ne peluche
pas (par ex. torchon à vaisselle) et conservez-les ainsi dans
un lieu sec, non poussiéreux.
4.7 Que faire si ...
... aucun médicament ne sort du nébuliseur ?
Si aucun médicament n'est nébulisé, le gicleur peut être bouché. Procédez dans ce cas de la manière suivante :
• Percez l'orifice du gicleur avec
précaution par le dessus à
l'aide de la tige de nettoyage.
REMARQUE :
L'utilisation de la tige de nettoyage peut endommager le
tuyau. Veillez à ne pas percer le
tuyau et à ne pas détruire le petit
orifice du gicleur. Si le gicleur se
bouche de nouveau, remplacez
l'entonnoir du gicleur. Utilisez uniquement des tiges de nettoyage
d'origine PARI.

... Le nébuliseur n'est plus étanche ?
Lorsque le nébuliseur n'est plus étanche, les bagues d'étanchéité doivent être remplacées :
Un jeu de bagues d'étanchéité est fourni avec le nébuliseur.

Ce produit est soumis au champ d'application de la directive
DEEE2. Par conséquent, ce produit ne doit pas être éliminé
avec les déchets ménagers. Les réglementations en matière
d'élimination propres à chaque pays doivent être respectées

Le recyclage des matériaux permet de réduire la consommation de matières brutes et de protéger l'environnement.

1.2 Informazioni sulle istruzioni per l'uso
Queste istruzioni per l'uso sono idonee per un utilizzo domestico. Per il personale specializzato sono disponibili istruzioni per l'uso separate.

1.3 Terapia di neonati, bambini e persone con
particolari difficoltà
In caso di neonati, bambini e persone con particolari difficoltà,
la terapia inalatoria deve essere eseguita solo dietro il costante
controllo di un adulto. Solo in questo modo è possibile assicurare una terapia sicura ed efficace. Spesso queste persone
non sono in grado di valutare correttamente i pericoli (ad
esempio, soffocamento causato dal cavo di alimentazione o
dal tubo di collegamento), pertanto possono sussistere rischi di
lesioni.

Il prodotto contiene piccole parti. Le piccole parti, se ingoiate,
potrebbero bloccare le vie respiratorie e causare un rischio di
soffocamento. Assicurarsi di tenere sempre il compressore, il
nebulizzatore e gli accessori fuori dalla portata di neonati e
bambini piccoli.
Per il trattamento di neonati e bambini piccoli, che non sono
ancora in grado di eseguire l'inalazione usando il boccaglio,
sono disponibili speciali maschere.
I nebulizzatori possono essere utilizzati solo da pazienti in grado di respirare autonomamente e in stato di veglia. Solo queste
condizioni garantiscono l'efficacia della terapia evitando rischi
di soffocamento.
1.4 Terapia di pazienti con apertura della
trachea in seguito a operazione
(tracheostoma)
I pazienti tracheostomizzati non possono eseguire l'inalazione
con il boccaglio, pertanto necessitano il PARI TRACHEO SET
con una speciale maschera per tracheostoma. Durante l'uso
della maschera per tracheostoma la valvola di aspirazione non
deve essere applicata sul nebulizzatore. In tal modo si assicura
un'espirazione senza impedimenti e si evita il pericolo di affanno.
1.5 Igiene
Osservare le seguenti indicazioni igieniche:
– Utilizzare solo componenti del prodotto puliti e asciutti. Le
impurità e l'umidità residua favoriscono la proliferazione di
germi e batteri, aumentando così il rischio di infezione.
– Prima di ogni utilizzo e prima di eseguire la pulizia, lavarsi a
fondo le mani.
– Eseguire le operazioni di pulizia e asciugatura anche prima
del primo utilizzo.

– Per la pulizia e la disinfezione utilizzare sempre acqua fresca e priva di calcare.
– Dopo ogni pulizia e disinfezione assicurarsi che ogni singolo
componente sia completamente asciutto.
– Il prodotto e gli accessori non devono essere conservati in
ambienti umidi oppure insieme a oggetti umidi.

2.2 Finalità del prodotto
Il nebulizzatore PARI SOLE N è un nebulizzatore per medicinali concepito per essere utilizzato insieme a un compressore
PARI per la terapia inalatoria delle vie respiratorie superiori e
centrali. Il nebulizzatore può essere usato dagli adulti e da
bambini che abbiano compiuto il quarto anno di vita circa.
Impiegare esclusivamente compressori e accessori PARI originali. PARI GmbH non è responsabile di eventuali danni derivanti dall'azionamento dei nebulizzatori PARI con compressori
o accessori di altri produttori.
Osservare le istruzioni per l'uso del compressore e degli
accessori utilizzati.
Estensione all'impiego professionale della finalità del prodotto
Il nebulizzatore può essere usato in una struttura medica insieme a un compressore PARI oppure con PARI CENTRAL1. Osservando le specifiche esigenze di preparazione igienica, può
essere usato per diversi pazienti.
2.3 Utilizzo conforme
Il prodotto è adatto solo per pazienti in grado di respirare autonomamente e in stato di veglia.
Utilizzare esclusivamente medicinali previsti per la terapia inalatoria. Osservare le eventuali limitazioni presenti nelle istruzioni per l'uso del medicinale corrispondente.

2.7 Durata
Il nebulizzatore PARI SOLE N ha una durata media prevista di:
– massimo 3 anni in caso di utilizzo in ambienti domestici
– massimo 1 anno in caso di utilizzo in ambienti ospedalieri
Anche in caso di utilizzo in ambiente domestico, sostituire l'imbuto dell'ugello e il tubo di collegamento al massimo dopo un
anno, poiché il materiale può alterarsi nel tempo. L'efficacia
della terapia ne potrebbe risultare compromessa.

INALAZIONE
3.1 Montaggio del nebulizzatore
ATTENZIONE
Controllare tutti i componenti del nebulizzatore e gli accessori prima di ogni utilizzo. Sostituire i componenti rotti, deformati o molto scoloriti. Attenersi inoltre alle seguenti istruzioni di
montaggio. I componenti danneggiati, nonché il nebulizzatore non montato correttamente, possono compromettere il
funzionamento del nebulizzatore e, di conseguenza, la terapia.
Controllare e correggere la posizione del tubo nell'imbuto
dell'ugello:
• spingere il più possibile il tubo
nel tubicino di plastica (f);
• tirare con cautela il tubo verso
il basso cercando di eliminare
eventuali curvature.
La quasi completa nebulizzazione del medicinale è garantita solo dalla lunghezza corretta del tubo nella parte inferiore del nebulizzatore.

• Inserire la parte superiore del
nebulizzatore nella parte centrale del nebulizzatore.
• Inserire l'imbuto dell'ugello nella parte inferiore del nebulizzatore.
Assicurarsi che il collegamento
dell'aria (g) sia inserito nell'apposito alloggiamento (h) sulla
parte inferiore del nebulizzatore.
• Spingere il collegamento
dell'aria PARI dal basso nell'alloggiamento sulla parte inferiore del nebulizzatore.
• Inserire il tubo di collegamento
nel raccordo per il collegamento dell'aria.

3.2 Riempimento con la soluzione per
inalazione
• In base alla quantità indicata
dal medico, riempire di medicinale il dosatore nella parte inferiore del nebulizzatore (quantità di riempimento massimo:
15 ml).
• Posizionare la parte centrale

3.4 Esecuzione dell'inalazione
Prima di procedere con l'inalazione, assicurarsi che tutti i componenti siano collegati saldamente l'uno all'altro.
• Collegare il tubo di collegamento al compressore e accendere il compressore.
• Sedersi tenendo una posizione eretta e rilassarsi.

Quando l'inalazione è terminata, spegnere il compressore.

Nebulizzazione a intervalli
• Premere il pulsante di interruzione (k).
Dal nebulizzatore fuoriescono
particelle nebulizzate fini.
• Inspirare con la massima calma dal nebulizzatore.
• Rilasciare il pulsante di interruzione e procedere a un'espirazione rilassata attraverso il nebulizzatore.
L’aria espirata passa attraverso la lamella per espirazione (i)
sul nebulizzatore.
• Ripetere l’operazione di inspirazione ed espirazione come
descritto, fino a quando un diverso rumore nel nebulizzatore
non segnala che il medicinale
è esaurito.
• Controllare se è ancora visibile
il flusso di aerosol dal nebulizzatore (a questo scopo, premere il pulsante di interruzione).
• Terminare il trattamento non
appena si rileva la fuoriuscita
irregolare dell'aerosol.

Nebulizzazione continua
• Bloccare il pulsante di interruzione (k) premendolo e spingendolo contemporaneamente
verso l'alto.
L'inalazione avviene allo stesso
modo dell'inalazione a intervalli,
l'unica differenza sta nel non dover premere sempre il pulsante di
interruzione.
L'inalazione di 15 ml di soluzione per inalazione dura circa
10 minuti con nebulizzazione continua (a seconda del compressore utilizzato). Se si utilizza il pulsante di interruzione
per il funzionamento a intervalli, la durata dell'inalazione
cambierà di conseguenza.

PULIZIA E DISINFEZIONE A CASA
È necessario pulire a fondo il nebulizzatore e gli accessori dopo ogni utilizzo e disinfettarli almeno una volta al giorno.
Non è possibile pulire né disinfettare il tubo di collegamento.
4.1 Preparazione
• Estrarre il tubo dal nebulizzatore.
• Rimuovere dal nebulizzatore tutti i residui di soluzione per inalazione.
• Smontare il nebulizzatore nei suoi componenti.
• Eseguire un breve prelavaggio con acqua corrente di tutti i
componenti del nebulizzatore. Eseguire un prelavaggio particolarmente approfondito, se le operazioni di pulizia e disinfezione non verranno eseguite subito dopo.
4.2 Manutenzione del tubo di collegamento
• Collegare il tubo di collegamento al compressore.
• Accendere il compressore.
• Lasciare in funzione il compressore fino a quando l'aria che
fuoriesce dal tubo non abbia eliminato eventuali tracce di
umidità presenti nel tubo.
4.3 Pulizia
• Immergere tutti i componenti per circa 5 minuti in acqua di
rubinetto calda con un po' di detersivo. In presenza di sporco resistente utilizzare eventualmente una spazzola pulita,
che dovrà essere impiegata esclusivamente per questo scopo.
• Risciacquare a fondo tutti i componenti con acqua corrente.
• Per accelerare il processo di sgocciolamento, scuotere tutti i
componenti.

Per evitare l'ostruzione dell'ugello, procedere come segue:
• Riassemblare il nebulizzatore.
• Accendere il compressore.
• Riempire con acqua corrente, senza calcare, eventualmente
bollita o distillata, e nebulizzare l'acqua fino alla completa
fuoriuscita di aerosol dal nebulizzatore.
• Spegnere nuovamente il compressore.
• Smontare nuovamente il nebulizzatore.
• Scuotere per sgocciolare l'acqua raccolta.
Per accelerare il processo di sgocciolamento, scuotere tutti i
componenti.
NOTA
Dopo ogni inalazione è necessario pulire l'ugello per evitare
la cristallizzazione dei residui della soluzione per inalazione
che ne provocherebbe l'ostruzione.

4.4 Disinfezione
Dopo la pulizia disinfettare il nebulizzatore smontato e gli accessori utilizzati (tranne il tubo di collegamento); è possibile disinfettare efficacemente solo un nebulizzatore pulito.
Informazioni per l'utilizzo di maschere con elastico:
l'elastico può essere solo pulito, poiché le temperature elevate raggiunte durante la disinfezione possono danneggiarlo.
ATTENZIONE
Un ambiente umido favorisce la proliferazione di germi e batteri. Pertanto, al termine della procedura di disinfezione rimuovere tutti i componenti dalla pentola o dall'apparecchio
per la disinfezione. Asciugare tutti i componenti. Un'asciugatura completa riduce il rischio di infezioni.

In acqua bollente
• Posizionare tutti i componenti in acqua bollente lasciandoli
bollire per almeno 5 minuti.
Utilizzare una pentola pulita e acqua priva di calcare.
La plastica si scioglie a contatto con il fondo bollente della
pentola. Fare pertanto attenzione al livello dell'acqua nella
pentola. In questo modo si eviteranno danni ai componenti.
• Per accelerare il processo di sgocciolamento, scuotere tutti i
componenti.
Con un apparecchio per la disinfezione termica
dei biberon disponibile in commercio (senza
microonde)
Per una disinfezione efficace, utilizzare un apparecchio per disinfezione termica e azionarlo per almeno 6 minuti. Per l'esecuzione della disinfezione, la durata della procedura e la quantità di acqua necessaria, attenersi alle istruzioni per l'uso
dell'apparecchio per disinfezione utilizzato.
ATTENZIONE
Una disinfezione non sufficiente favorisce la proliferazione di
germi e batteri e aumenta in tal modo il rischio di infezioni.
La disinfezione è efficace solo se l'apparecchio si è spento
automaticamente oppure è stato raggiunto il tempo minimo
di disinfezione indicato nelle istruzioni per l'uso dell'apparecchio per disinfezione. Pertanto, non spegnere l'apparecchio
anticipatamente. Inoltre, assicurarsi che sia pulito e verificarne regolarmente il funzionamento.
4.5 Controllo visivo
Esaminare tutti i componenti del prodotto dopo ogni pulizia e
disinfezione. Sostituire i componenti rotti, deformati o molto
scoloriti.

4.6 Asciugatura e conservazione
• Posizionare tutti i componenti su una superficie asciutta, pulita e assorbente, quindi lasciarli asciugare completamente.
• Avvolgere il nebulizzatore in un panno pulito e privo di pelucchi (ad esempio, un canovaccio) e conservarlo in un luogo asciutto e privo di polvere.
4.7 Come procedere se ...
... dal nebulizzatore non esce medicinale?
Se non viene nebulizzato alcun medicinale, l'ugello potrebbe
essere ostruito. Procedere come descritto di seguito:
• Perforare dall'alto con cautela
l'apertura dell'ugello usando
l'utensile per la pulizia
dell'ugello.
NOTA:
Quando si utilizza l'utensile per la
pulizia dell'ugello, sussiste il pericolo di danneggiare l'attacco del
tubo. Assicurarsi che l'attacco del
tubo non venga rotto e che le
aperture dell'ugello non vengano
danneggiate. In caso di occlusione dell'imbuto dell'ugello, procedere alla sostituzione. Utilizzare
esclusivamente utensili originali
PARI per la pulizia dell'ugello.

BELANGRIJKE AANWIJZINGEN
1.1 Algemeen
Lees deze gebruiksaanwijzing volledig door. Bewaar deze zo
dat u haar later nog eens kunt naslaan. Als de gebruiksaanwijzing niet in acht wordt genomen, kan letsel of schade aan het
product niet worden uitgesloten.
Bij aanhoudende klachten of verslechtering van de gezondheid dient u het gebruik te onderbreken en onmiddellijk contact op te nemen met uw arts.
1.2 Informatie over de gebruiksaanwijzing
Deze gebruiksaanwijzing is bedoeld voor de gebruiker
thuis. Voor vakpersoneel is een aparte gebruiksaanwijzing
verkrijgbaar.
Gebruiksaanwijzingen kunt u bij verlies bij PARI GmbH bestellen [zie: Contact, pagina 119]. Voor afzonderlijke producten zijn
de gebruiksaanwijzingen zowel in het Duits als in het Engels te

1.3 Behandeling van baby's, kinderen en
hulpbehoevende personen
Baby's, kinderen en hulpbehoevende personen mogen alleen
onder permanent toezicht van een volwassene inhaleren. Alleen zo kan een veilige en doeltreffende therapie worden gegarandeerd. Deze groep personen schat gevaren (bijv. wurging
met het netsnoer of de aansluitslang) dikwijls verkeerd in,
waardoor er gevaar voor letsel kan bestaan.

Het product bevat kleine onderdelen. Kleine onderdelen kunnen de luchtwegen blokkeren en tot verstikkingsgevaar leiden.
Let er daarom op dat u de compressor, de vernevelaar en het
toebehoren steeds buiten bereik van baby's en peuters bewaart.
Voor de behandeling van baby's en peuters die nog niet met
het mondstuk kunnen inhaleren, zijn er speciale maskers.
De vernevelaars zijn alleen geschikt voor patiënten die zelfstandig ademen en bij bewustzijn zijn. Alleen zo is een doeltreffende therapie mogelijk en wordt verstikkingsgevaar voorkomen.
1.4 Therapie van patiënten met een operatief
aangebrachte opening in de luchtpijp
(tracheostoma)
Patiënten met een tracheostoma kunnen niet met het mondstuk inhaleren en hebben om te inhaleren de
PARI TRACHEO SET met een speciaal tracheomasker nodig.
Bij gebruik van het tracheomasker mag het inademventiel niet
op de vernevelaar worden geplaatst. Hiermee wordt een ongehinderde uitademing gewaarborgd en wordt gevaar voor ademnood voorkomen.
1.5 Hygiëne
Neem de volgende aanwijzingen aangaande de hygiëne in
acht:
– Gebruik uitsluitend gereinigde en gedroogde productonderdelen. Verontreinigingen en restvocht leiden tot de groei van
kiemen, waardoor er een verhoogd infectiegevaar bestaat.
– Was vóór elk gebruik en elke reiniging grondig uw handen.
– Voer de reiniging en het drogen beslist ook vóór het eerste
gebruik uit.

– Gebruik voor het reinigen en desinfecteren steeds vers,
kalkarm water.
– Let er na elke reiniging en desinfectie op dat alle onderdelen
voldoende drogen.
– Berg het product en het toebehoren niet op in een vochtige
omgeving of samen met vochtige voorwerpen.

2.2 Gebruiksdoel
De PARI SOLE N vernevelaar is een medicamentenvernevelaar die samen met een PARI compressor bedoeld is voor een
inhalatietherapie van de bovenste en centrale luchtwegen. De
vernevelaar kan worden gebruikt voor kinderen vanaf ca. 4 jaar
en voor volwassenen.
Er mogen alleen originele PARI compressoren en PARI
toebehoren worden gebruikt. PARI GmbH kan niet aansprakelijk worden gesteld voor schade die ontstaat doordat PARI vernevelaars met compressoren of toebehoren van andere fabrikanten worden gebruikt.
U dient de gebruiksaanwijzing van de gebruikte compressor en van het toebehoren in acht te nemen.
Uitgebreid gebruiksdoel voor professionele toepassing
De vernevelaar kan samen met een PARI compressor of met
de PARI CENTRAL1 in een medische instelling worden gebruikt. Hij kan met inachtneming van de speciale eisen voor de
hygiënische maatregelen voor hergebruik voor verschillende
patiënten worden gebruikt.
2.3 Beoogd gebruik
Het product is alleen geschikt voor patiënten die zelfstandig
ademen en bij bewustzijn zijn.
Er mogen uitsluitend medicamenten worden gebruikt die zijn
toegestaan voor de inhalatietherapie. Neem eventuele restricties in acht die zijn aangegeven in de gebruiksinformatie van
het betreffende medicament.

2.7 Levensduur
De PARI SOLE N heeft een te verwachten gemiddelde levensduur van:

– max. 1 jaar bij gebruik in een ziekenhuis
Vervang de sproeiertrechter en de aansluitslang ook bij gebruik
thuis uiterlijk na één jaar, omdat het materiaal mettertijd kan
veranderen. Hierdoor kan afbreuk worden gedaan aan de doeltreffendheid van de therapie.

INHALATIE
3.1 Montage van de vernevelaar
VOORZICHTIG
Controleer vóór elk gebruik alle onderdelen van de vernevelaar en het toebehoren. Vervang gebroken, vervormde of
sterk verkleurde onderdelen. Neem bovendien de volgende
aanwijzingen voor montage in acht. Beschadigde onderdelen
en een verkeerd gemonteerde vernevelaar kunnen afbreuk
doen aan de werking van de vernevelaar en daarmee aan
de therapie.
Controleer en corrigeer de positie
van de slang in de sproeiertrechter:
• Schuif de slang zo ver mogelijk
op het kunststofbuisje (f).
• Trek de slang voorzichtig omlaag, zodat hij zo veel mogelijk
zonder krommingen verloopt.
Alleen wanneer de slang met de juiste lengte in het onderste deel van de vernevelaar steekt, is gegarandeerd dat
het medicament bijna volledig wordt verneveld.

• Steek het bovenste deel van
de vernevelaar op het middelste deel van de vernevelaar.
• Steek de sproeiertrechter in
het onderste deel van de vernevelaar.
Let er daarbij op dat de luchtaansluiting (g) in de daartoe
voorziene opnamekoker (h)
van het onderste deel van de
vernevelaar wordt geplaatst.
• Schuif de PARI luchtaansluiting van onderen in de opname
van het onderste deel van de
vernevelaar.
• Bevestig de aansluitslang aan
het luchtaansluitstuk.

3.2 Vullen met inhalatieoplossing
• Giet de door de arts voorgeschreven hoeveelheid medicament met de maatbeker in het
onderste deel van de vernevelaar (maximale vulhoeveelheid:
15 ml).
• Plaats het middelste deel van
de vernevelaar op het onderste
deel.
Zorg ervoor dat de blauwe
markeringen één lijn vormen.
• Draai het middelste deel van
de vernevelaar naar rechts tot
aan de aanslag, zodat de beide onderdelen vast met elkaar
verbonden zijn.

3.4 De inhalatie uitvoeren
Vergewis u er vóór de inhalatie van of alle delen vast met elkaar verbonden zijn.
• Sluit de aansluitslang aan op de compressor en schakel de
compressor in.
• Ga ontspannen en rechtop zitten.

• Neem het mondstuk tussen de tanden en omsluit het met de
lippen.
• Adem zo langzaam en diep mogelijk door het mondstuk in
en ontspannen weer uit.
... bij een inhalatie met neusaanzetstuk
• Plaats het neusaanzetstuk voorzichtig op uw neus.
• Adem zo langzaam en diep mogelijk door de neus in en ontspannen weer uit.
... bij een inhalatie met masker
• Zet het masker zodanig op, dat het de mond en de neus
goed omsluit.
• Adem zo langzaam en diep mogelijk door het masker in en
ontspannen weer uit.

• Plaats het tracheomasker zo dat het de tracheostoma dicht
omsluit.
Let daarbij goed op de juiste richting van het tracheomasker.
• Adem zo langzaam en diep mogelijk door het tracheomasker in en ontspannen weer uit.
Wanneer de inhalatie is voltooid, schakel de compressor dan
uit.

• Druk de onderbrekerknop (k)

Uit de vernevelaar komt een fijne aerosol.
• Adem zo rustig mogelijk in
door de vernevelaar.
• Laat de onderbrekerknop los
en adem ontspannen door de
vernevelaar uit.
De uitgeademde lucht gaat
door de uitademgleuf (i) aan
de vernevelaar naar buiten.
• Herhaal het in- en uitademen,
zoals is beschreven, tot een
verandering van geluid in de
vernevelaar aangeeft dat het
medicament is opgebruikt.
• Controleer of er nog duidelijk
zichtbaar aerosol uit de vernevelaar stroomt (onderbrekerknop indrukken).
• Stop met de behandeling als
de aerosol er nog slechts onregelmatig uitkomt.

Duurverneveling
• Zet de onderbrekerknop (k)
vast door hem in te drukken en
tegelijkertijd naar boven te
schuiven.
Die inhalatie wordt net zo uitgevoerd als bij de intervalverneveling, alleen hoeft u de onderbrekerknop niet steeds weer in te
drukken.
Bij doorgaande verneveling duurt de inhalatie van 15 ml inhalatieoplossing ca. 10 minuten (afhankelijk van de compressor). Bij gebruik van de onderbrekerknop voor intervalinhalatie duurt de inhalatie dienovereenkomstig langer.

REINIGING EN DESINFECTIE THUIS
De vernevelaar en het gebruikte toebehoren moeten na elk gebruik grondig worden gereinigd en minstens éénmaal per dag
worden gedesinfecteerd.
De aansluitslang kan niet worden gereinigd of gedesinfecteerd.
4.1 Voorbereiding
• Haal de slang van de vernevelaar af.
• Verwijder alle resten van de inhalatieoplossing uit de vernevelaar.
• Demonteer de vernevelaar volledig.
• Spoel alle onderdelen van de vernevelaar kort voor onder
stromend leidingwater. Doe dat extra grondig als de reiniging en desinfectie niet meteen worden uitgevoerd.
4.2 Onderhoud van de aansluitslang
• Sluit de aansluitslang aan op de compressor.
• Schakel uw compressor in.
• Laat de compressor net zolang werken tot de door de slang
stromende lucht het eventuele condens in de slang heeft
verwijderd.
4.3 Reiniging
• Leg alle onderdelen ca. 5 minuten lang in warm leidingwater
met wat afwasmiddel. Gebruik bij grove vervuiling indien nodig een schone borstel (deze borstel mag uitsluitend voor dit
doel worden gebruikt).
• Spoel alle onderdelen grondig af onder stromend water.
• Versnel het afdruipen van het water door met de onderdelen
te schudden.

Ga als volgt te werk om een verstopping van de sproeier te
voorkomen:
• Zet de vernevelaar weer in elkaar.
• Schakel de compressor in.
• Vul het reservoir met vers, kalkarm, eventueel gekookt of
gedestilleerd water en vernevel het water tot er uit de vernevelaar geen aerosol meer komt.
• Schakel de compressor weer uit.
• Demonteer de vernevelaar nogmaals.
• Giet het achtergebleven water uit de gedemonteerde delen.
Versnel het afdruipen van het water door met de onderdelen
te schudden.
AANWIJZING
De sproeier moet na elke inhalatie worden gereinigd, omdat
anders restanten van de inhalatieoplossing in de sproeier na
korte tijd kristalliseren en daardoor de sproeier verstoppen.

4.4 Desinfectie
Desinfecteer de gedemonteerde vernevelaar en het gebruikte
toebehoren (behalve de aansluitslang) onmiddellijk na de reiniging (alleen een gereinigde vernevelaar kan effectief worden
gedesinfecteerd).
Informatie bij gebruik van maskers met elastieken
band:
De elastieken band kan alleen maar worden gereinigd, omdat hij door de hoge temperaturen bij het desinfecteren beschadigd kan raken.

VOORZICHTIG
Een vochtige omgeving bevordert de groei van kiemen. Haal
alle onderdelen daarom onmiddellijk na afloop van de desinfectie uit de kookpan of uit het desinfectieapparaat. Droog de
onderdelen. Door ze volledig te laten drogen verkleint u het
infectiegevaar.
In kokend water
• Leg alle onderdelen minstens 5 minuten in kokend water.
Gebruik een schone kookpan en vers, kalkarm drinkwater.
Kunststof smelt bij aanraking met de hete bodem van de
pan. Zorg daarom voor een voldoende hoeveelheid water
in de pan. Daarmee voorkomt u beschadiging van de onderdelen.
• Versnel het afdruipen van het water door met de onderdelen
te schudden.
Met een gangbaar thermisch
desinfectieapparaat voor babyflessen (geen
magnetron)
Gebruik voor een effectieve desinfectie een thermisch
desinfectieapparaat met een werkingstijd van minstens 6 minuten. Voor de uitvoering van de desinfectie, voor de duur van
het desinfectieproces en voor de vereiste waterhoeveelheid
dient u de gebruiksaanwijzing van het gebruikte desinfectieapparaat in acht te nemen.

VOORZICHTIG
Een onvoldoende desinfectie bevordert de groei van kiemen
en verhoogt daarmee het infectiegevaar. De desinfectie is
pas effectief uitgevoerd wanneer het desinfectieapparaat
zichzelf automatisch heeft uitgeschakeld, respectievelijk
wanneer de in de gebruiksaanwijzing van het desinfectieapparaat aangegeven minimale desinfectietijd is bereikt.
Schakel het apparaat daarom niet voortijdig uit. Zorg er bovendien voor dat het apparaat schoon is en controleer regelmatig of het goed werkt.
4.5 Visuele controle
Controleer alle onderdelen van het product na elke reiniging en
desinfectie. Vervang gebroken, vervormde of sterk verkleurde
onderdelen.
4.6 Drogen en opbergen
• Leg de onderdelen op een droge, schone en absorberende
ondergrond en laat ze volledig drogen.
• Wikkel de vernevelaar in een schone, niet pluizende doek
(bijv. een theedoek) en berg hem op een droge, stofvrije
plaats op.
4.7 Wat te doen wanneer ...
... er uit de vernevelaar geen medicament komt?
Wanneer geen medicament wordt verneveld, kan de sproeier
verstopt zitten. Ga in dat geval als volgt te werk:

• Prik voorzichtig van boven met
de sproeierreiniger door het
sproeierkanaal.
AANWIJZING:
Bij het gebruik van de sproeierreiniger bestaat gevaar voor beschadiging van de slang. Let erop
dat niet door de slang heen wordt
geprikt en dat het kleine sproeierkanaal niet kapot wordt gemaakt.
Als deze verstopping vaker voorkomt, dient u de sproeiertrechter
te vervangen. Gebruik uitsluitend
originele PARI sproeierreinigers.
... de vernevelaar lek is?
Wanneer de vernevelaar lek is, moeten de afdichtringen worden vervangen:
Er is een set afdichtringen met de vernevelaar meegeleverd.

5.1 Verwijderen
Dit product valt onder het toepassingsgebied van de AEEA2.
Dit product mag dan ook niet samen met het huishoudelijk afval worden verwijderd. De nationale voorschriften op het gebied van afvalverwijdering dienen te worden nageleefd (bijv.
verwijdering via gemeentelijke recyclageparken of leveranciers). Het recycleren van materialen helpt het verbruik van
grondstoffen te verminderen en het milieu schoon te houden.
