RIFF è il sistema decorativo per interni
ad effetto materico e perlaceo, costituito da
fondo e finitura. Il fondo a spessore, estremamente duttile, viene applicato in maniera
irregolare per dare profondità e movimento
mentre la finitura perlescente carica la parete
di luce ed energia. Il prodotto si trasforma e
prende vita. La materia appare lavorata dal
tempo e la superficie vibra come il suono dei
riff più originali della storia del Rock.

Pure instinct
RIFF is a decorative system for interiors
with a materic and pearlescent effect, made
by a base coat and a finish coat. The base,
which has got a certain thickness, is applied
irregularly, giving this way the surface a basrelief aspect and a movement sensation.
The pearlescent finish coat makes the wall full
of light and energy. The product transforms
itself and comes to life. The “materia” seems
to be finished by the time and the surface vibrates like the sound of the most original riffs
in Rock history.

Both, Riff Base Coat and Riff Aluminium
finish can be tinted with the tinting system Colormaker and Colormaker Aqua in the shades
of this colour card. Riff Rust finish is a ready to
use colour.
1.Before the application make sure that the
surface is well cohesive, clean and dry. In
case of chalking surfaces it’s necessary to
use the fixative 2340.0003 properly diluted
with water.
2.Apply the first coat of Riff Base Coat uniformly on the surface with a plastic trowel
on the entire surface. Work immediately the
surface with the same trowel with irregular
strokes, using the flat part of the trowel, in
order to give movement to the surface.
3.After 6-8 hours apply a second coat of Riff
Base Coat always with the plastic trowel.
Work the product irregularly and make sure
to leave some empty spaces that are typical
of this decorative effect. Wait few minutes
and lightly smooth the picks on the surface.
4.When the surface is totally dry apply two
coats of Riff Finish by brush, then work the
surface with a sponge trowel using circular
movements, when the paint is still wet, in
order to uniformly spread the product.
Wait at least 6 hours within the two coats.
After each coat of Riff finish, work the surface with the plastic trowel, in order to remove the excess of paint and in order to empathise the depth of the decorative effect.

Sia Riff fondo che Riff finitura Alluminio
possono essere colorati con il sistema Colormaker e Colormaker Aqua nelle tinte a cartella. Riff finitura Ruggine è un colore pronto.
1. Prima di verniciare accertarsi che la superficie sia ben coesa, liscia e pulita. Altrimenti,
prima di applicare Riff, rimuovere tutte le
parti incoerenti e sfarinate, consolidare il
supporto e intervenire sul muro con il fissativo Titancril 2340.0003 opportunamente
diluito.
2. Applicare una prima mano di Riff Fondo fino
a totale copertura del supporto e lisciare
immediatamente, utilizzando il frattazzo
piatto con gesti irregolari, al fine di movimentare la superficie.
3.Dopo 6-8 ore applicare una seconda mano
di Riff fondo, avendo cura di lasciare scoperte alcune porzioni di superficie.
Attendere alcuni minuti e lisciare leggermente gli accumuli di vernice. Quando la
superficie è ben asciutta, procedere all’ultima fase.
4.Applicare due mani di Riff finitura a distanza di 6-8 ore. Per ogni mano applicare il
prodotto a pennello e ripassare con una
spugna la superficie ancora bagnata, avendo cura di distribuire il prodotto con movimenti irregolari fino a coprire la superficie
in modo omogeneo. Dopo ciascuna mano
rasare con frattazzo in plastica per eliminare l’eccesso di vernice e mettere in risalto la
profondità del decorativo.
