Non più luoghi comuni
In realtà, non ci sono regole nell’arredamento, se
non quelle decise da altri. Siamo talmente pervasi
di ovvietà che riconosciamo a fatica il nostro pensiero, l’idea autentica che abbiamo su qualsiasi cosa.
Imab vuole riportare il design a dimensioni più profonde: la nostra interiorità, il nostro gusto, il nostro
ambiente, la nostra libertà, il piacere soggettivo.
Qualcosa che appartiene soltanto a noi e che nessuno potrà mai portarci via. L’educazione al design,
deve partire riconoscendo ciò che ci piace.
NO LONGER COMMON PLACES
Actually, there are no rules regarding furnishing
other than those decided by others. We are so pervaded by obviousness that we recognise laboriously
our thought, the authentic idea we have on anything. Imab wants to transmit the design in deeper
dimensions: our intimacy, out taste, our surroundings, our freedom, personal pleasure. Something
that belongs only to us and which nobody can ever
take away from us. Designer education should take
off by getting to know that which pleases us.

Parliamo di living oppure di area giorno o semplicemente di quello spazio dove concentriamo le tante
tantissime ore del nostro vivere quotidiano. Ciascuno
sostiene che debba essere pratico, versatile, aperto
a chi ci vive e a chi ci viene a trovare. E allora Imab
suggerisce tutto questo, coniugando il bello con l’accessibile. Perché ognuno di noi traduca o arricchisca
la parola living con tutte le molteplici parole che più
siano adatte alla propria giornata.
EVERY PLACE IS THE RIGHT PLACE
We’re talking about a living area or simply the part of
the house where we spend much of our daily life. We
all believe it should be practical, versatile, open to us
who live there and to whoever comes to visit. Imab
suggests the same thing, by combining the beautiful with the accessible. In this way, each of us can
translate or elaborate upon the word “living” with
the many other words that best describe our day.
