L'elenco iscritti del Valpantena 2012 non delude
Evento sempre più international: 11 equipaggi esteri al via
In attesa dell'approvazione definitiva del Direttore di Gara, Stefano Torcellan, è stato pubblicato
l'attesissimo elenco iscritti provvisorio del 10° Revival Rally Club Valpantena. Si sono chiuse
ieri, lunedì 8 ottobre, le iscrizioni alla manifestazione, ed ora inizia l'attesa per lo start vero e
proprio, in programma venerdì 19 ottobre prossimo dalle ore 13:00 nel centro di Cerro Veronese,
sui Monti Lessini.
L'evento organizzato dal Rally Club Valpantena, dimostra anche quest'anno il grande affetto e il
grande prestigio accumulato in questi anni di lavoro e impegno. Sono infatti 223 gli equipaggi
iscritti, divisi tra 124 partecipanti alla formula All Stars e 99 alla Regolarità Sport. Numeri che
fanno già andare in visibilio i tanti appassionati che si apprestano a seguire la manifestazione
scaligera.
Ad aprire il gruppo, come annunciato a suo tempo, la coppia “Lucky”-”Rudy” che torna assieme
dopo 23 anni. Grande prestigio anche la presenza di Franco Ceccato che riporterà in scena la 131
della 4 Rombi che lo ha reso celebre, assieme a Fiorenza Soave, per l'occasione navigatrice
d'eccezione. La coppia festeggia infatti con questo Revival Valpantena i trent'anni dalla vittoriosa
stagione 1982 che regalò ad entrambi grandi soddisfazioni nel Campionato Italiano Rallyes. Ma
l'attesa è anche per il nutrito plotone di gruppo B. Sei Lancia S4, quattro Audi Quattro (e non è un
gioco di parole) tra cui l'S1 che fu condotta al Valpantena dal compianto Gary Midwinter, fino alle
altrettanto attese Ford RS200 e Peugeot 205T16.
Occhi lucidi anche nello scorrere le tante Renault 5, tra tutte quella del tedesco Erni Peter, ma poi le
Lancia Stratos (sei), le Rally 037 (quattro), Fiat 131 (tredici), e via via tutti gli altri modelli che
come ogni anno si sono dati appuntamento al Valpantena.

The event organized by Rally Club Valpantena, demonstrates once again the great affection and great prestige
accumulated over the years of work and commitment. In fact 223 crew members are listed, divided among 124
participants in the formula All Stars and 99 to Regularity Sport. Numbers that are already going into raptures many
fans who are preparing to follow the event.
To open the Group, as announced at the time, the couple "Lucky" - "Rudy" who returns after 23 years together. Great
prestige the presence of Franco Ceccato and his 131 4 Rombi that made him famous, along with Fiorenza Soave,
exceptional navigator for the occasion. The couple is celebrating with this Revival Valpantena thirty years after the
successful 1982 season that gave great satisfaction to both of them in the Italian Rally Championship. But the wait is
for the large platoon of group B. Six Lancia S4, four Audi Quattro (and not a pun) including the S1 that was driven in
past Valpantena's by great friend: Gary Midwinter. Not last the awaited Ford RS200 and Peugeot 205T16.
Many Renault 5, first of all that of the German Peter Erni, but then the Lancia Stratos (six), the 037 (four), Fiat 131
(thirteen), and gradually all the other models that like any years have come together to Valpantena.
