Bruno Reverberi (Team Manager of Bardiani Valvole - CSF Inox Pro Team):
“The 2013 will be for us the 32th sport season in the professional cycling.
Our team is always stood in all this time for the trasparency and professionalism in its activity.
Since several years we have started an important project focused only on the italian cycling,
where after a deep scouting into the young categories, we choose the best young italian
talents and we work for their develop, bringing to the success.
A general goal not easy to achieve but year after year is giving us great sport and human
satisfactions, offering to our sponsors huge visibility and an important image return.
In 2013 we think to have strengthened our young italian team, making more competitive for
different types of races. We have great expectations of Sacha Modolo which we hope a definitive
international consecration and as the youngest team between World Tour and Pro Continental
categories (only 23,3 is the average age), we trust in the great talent of Stefano Pirazzi, Enrico
Battaglin and Sonny Colbrelli.
Between the new adds Enrico Barbin and Francesco Manuel Bongiorno (both neopro), with
Filippo Fortin from Type 1 – Sanofi, could be good protagonists during this season.
About the race we’ll be at the start of the next Giro d’Italia, the most important race for our
team and also we’ll take part at Milano – Sanremo in March. Alongside the italian race calendar
we are looking to partecipate in some important foreign events during the whole season.
Also from this season we have joined into the MPCC (Mouvement for a credible cycling) another
concrete step of growth and trasparency”.

Sacha Modolo is one of most emerging and promising sprinter in the cycling world.
Pro rider since 2012 at the age of 23, he soon gained an excellent fourth place in the
“classicissima” Milano - Sanremo.
Hit first professional victory came in 2011 in the 5th stage of Tour of Qinghai Lake,
from there he began an incredible escalation of results with other 10 wins around the Europe.
Thanks to all these victories in 2011,
he took part at the World Championships in Copenaghen with the italian team.
In 2012, after a good start, the victories obtained during the months of June and the previous
second place at the Pre-Olimpic race (in 2011), gave him a spot in the italian team for the Olympic
Games. During his career, he also won the Coppa Agostoni (2011) and the Coppa Bernocchi (2012),
single stages at the Tour of Denmark, Tour of Austria, Tour of Slovenia and Tour of Turkey.
In the 2013 he aims to grow again becoming one of the best sprinter in the world, to get the
podium at Milano - Sanremo and other important victories in the most important cycling races.
