The Kurhaus Cademario was built in 1914 and will re-open in April 2013
following several years of renovation. When it was built, the Kurhaus
Cademario was one of the leading hotels in Switzerland and Ticino and was
committed to offering relaxation, well-being and health. The new Kurhaus
Cademario Hotel & Spa is firmly anchored in almost 100 years of tradition
and offers the perfect setting for guests to submerse themselves in the 2,200
m2 spa area in addition to its stylish rooms and fresh and hearty cuisine. The
tranquility, 3 ha of extensive parkland and dreamy views of Lake Lugano and
the surrounding Ticino mountains have been retained but everything else is
completely new.

Il Kurhaus Cademario, edificato nel 1914, riapre di nuovo i battenti ad
aprile 2013 a seguito di un totale rinnovamento durato alcuni anni. A suo
tempo, in Svizzera e in Canton Ticino il Kurhaus Cademario, precursore
nella naturopatia, era uno degli alberghi leader nel settore relax, benessere,
e salute. Solidamente ancorato a una tradizione quasi centenaria, il nuovo
Kurhaus Cademario Hotel & Spa, con le sue camere in stile e la sua
gastronomia fresca e salutare, offre ai suoi ospiti l’ambiente perfetto per
immergersi in una paradisiaca Spa di 2’200 m2. La tranquillità, l’esteso parco
di 3 ettari e la spettacolare vista sul Lago di Lugano e sul comprensorio
alpino ticinese sono rimasti inalterati, il resto è totalmente nuovo.
Das 1914 erbaute Kurhaus Cademario wird nach mehrjähriger
Renovationsphase im April 2013 wieder eröffnet. Das Kurhaus Cademario
war damals eines der führenden Hotels der Schweiz und des Tessins die sich
der Entspannung, dem Wohlbefinden und der Gesundheit verschrieben
hatten. Fest in dieser fast 100-jährigen Tradition verankert, wird das neue
Kurhaus Cademario Hotel & Spa mit seinen stilvollen Zimmern, seiner
frischen und herzlichen Gastronomie den Rahmen bilden in dem Sie, als
unsere Gäste, in den 2.200 m2 grossen Spa Bereich abtauchen können. Die
Ruhe, der 3 ha grosse Park und die traumhafte Aussicht auf den Lago di
Lugano und die umgebene Tessiner Bergwelt sind geblieben, alles andere
ist vollkommen neu.
All of the 82 rooms and suites are non-smoking and include wooden flooring,
flat-screen TV with internet access, telephone, safe, desk, hairdryer, make-up
mirror and mini-bar. Rooms with lake view have a large balcony with
magnificent views of Lake Lugano. Rooms with garden view have relaxing
views of the park landscape.

Tutte le 82 camere e Suites sono non fumatori e dotate di pavimento in
parquet, televisore a schermo piatto con accesso a Internet, telefono,
cassaforte, scrivania, asciugacapelli, specchio estetico e minibar. Le
camere con vista lago dispongono di un ampio balcone con un panorama
spettacolare sul Lago di Lugano. Le camere con vista giardino offrono
invece una vista rilassante sul rigoglioso parco.
Alle 82 Zimmer und Suiten sind Nichtraucherzimmer und verfügen über
Klimaanlage, Holzfussboden, Flachbild-TV mit Internetzugang, Telefon,
Safe, Schreibtisch, Fön, Kosmetikspiegel und Minibar. Zimmer mit Seesicht
verfügen über einen grossen Balkon mit herrlichem Blick auf den Luganersee.
Zimmer mit Gartenblick bieten eine entspannende Aussicht auf die schöne
und üppige Parklandschaft.
DOT.Spa has been planned in accordance with geomantic criteria and all of the 5
elements have been integrated. The total area of 2.200 m2 includes a brine contrast
pool with underwater music in a rock and cave setting, indoor and outdoor pool
with rain cascade, integrated massage recliners, whirlpool, water channels and water
jet benches, panorama terrace, salt cave, sauna area with salt tepidarium, hamam,
Turkish steam bath, Finnish sauna, bio-sauna with garden views, ice fountain, two
frigidaria, experience showers and various relaxation areas. It also includes a fitness
area with a treatment room, cardio & fitness room and fresh air training zone.

DOT.Spa è stata concepita secondo i criteri geomantici, integrando perfettamente
i 5 elementi. Estesa su una superficie di 2’200 m2 propone un percorso di contrasto
in piscina salina con musica subacquea, caratterizzato dalla volta rocciosa che forma
una grotta pittoresca, una piscina che dall’interno porta all’esterno con una piacevole
cascata, lettini ad effervescenza e ad immersione, postazioni idromassaggio, cascate
cervicali e nuoto controcorrente, così come botte effervescente, Jacuzzi, “river lento”,
grotta salina, terrazza panoramica, Tepidarium salino, Hamam, bagno turco, sauna
finlandese, biosauna con vista sul giardino, fontana del ghiaccio, due Frigidarium
e docce sensoriali. Completano l’offerta una sala corsi, una palestra attrezzata con
zona cardio e un percorso d’allenamento all’aria aperta.

wurden integriert. Die Gesamtfläche von 2.200 m2 besteht aus Sole-Kontrastbad
mit Unterwassermusik in Felsen- und Grottenlandschaft, Innen- und Aussenpool
mit Regenkaskade, integrierten Massageliegen, Whirlpool, Strömungskanal und
Sprudelbänke, Panoramaterrasse, Salzgrotte, Saunawelt mit Salz-Tepidarium, Hamam,
Türkisches Dampfbad, Finnische Sauna, Biosauna mit Gartenblick, Eisbrunnen, zwei
Frigidarien und Erlebnisduschen sowie verschiedene Ruhezonen. Fitnessbereich mit
Kursraum, Cardio- & Fitnessraum sowie Frischluft-Trainingsbereich.

voyage of discovery through the cuisine of Ticino and Northern Italy.
Traditional, regional and seasonal dishes are prepared fresh each day by
chef Franco Passoni and his team. He will surprise you each and every day,
focusing on your individual requirements. Our nutritional concept and food
for allergy sufferers is just one example of the individuality implemented by
our hotel. Not to be missed: Ticino wines at the stylish Agra Bar enjoying the
great view of Lake Lugano!

persone allergiche è solo uno degli esempi dei trattamenti personalizzati

The exclusive events area of the Kurhaus Cademario Hotel & Spa comprises a
large ‘Tamaro’ room which can be divided into two units with large panoramic
windows and a very spacious terrace before an impressive mountain and lake
backdrop. The light conference rooms are air-conditioned, multi-functional
and ideal for presentations, parties and other events for up to 100 people.

Il Kurhaus Cademario propone per ogni tipologia di evento la spaziosa sala
“Tamaro”, divisibile in due unità e dotata di grandi finestre panoramiche e di
un’ampia terrazza che si affaccia su uno spettacolare scenario montano e
lacustre. Le luminose sale congressuali sono climatizzate e multifunzionali,
particolarmente indicate per presentazioni, festeggiamenti e altre
manifestazioni fino ad un massimo di 100 persone.
Der exklusive Veranstaltungsbereich des Kurhaus Cademario verfügt
über einen grossen Saal „Tamaro“, teilbar in zwei Einheiten, mit grossen
Panoramafenstern und einer sehr grosszügigen Terrasse vor einer
beeindruckenden Berg- und Seekulisse. Die hellen Tagungsräume sind
klimatisiert, multifunktional und für Präsentationen, Feiern und weitere
Veranstaltungen mit bis zu 100 Personen nutzbar.
How to reach us:
By plane: Lugano-Agno airport is just 9 km away and is easily accessible via Zurich and Geneva.
Alternatively, all Milan airports also offer excellent links.
By train: Lugano main train station followed by the post bus to Cademario. A pick-up service is
also available on request (supplement payable).
By car: A2/E35 towards Lugano. Motorway exit ‘Lugano North’, towards Ponte Tresa/airport.
In Bioggio, turn off right towards Cademario. From here, travel 1 km towards the village of
Cademario and turn off right towards the Kurhaus Cademario Hotel & Spa.
Come raggiungerci:
In aereo: l’aeroporto domestico di Lugano-Agno, distante soli 9 km, offre collegamenti giornalieri
con Zurigo e Ginevra. In alternativa, gli aeroporti internazionali di Milano propongono ottimi
collegamenti.
In treno: stazione centrale di Lugano e successivamente prendere l’autopostale per Cademario.
Possibilità di usufruire del servizio navetta, su richiesta e con supplemento di prezzo.
In auto: A2/E35 direzione Lugano. Uscita autostradale “Lugano Nord”, direzione Ponte Tresa/
aeroporto. A Bioggio svoltare a destra in direzione Cademario. 1 km dopo il paese di Cademario
svoltare di nuovo a destra in direzione del Kurhaus Cademario Hotel & Spa.
