Durante il nuovo trattamento HPS (Heat Prestretch Setting)
di Armare, la treccia in Dyneema® viene portata ad alta
temperatura e sottoposta ad un carico costante ed equilibrato.
Il risultato è una cima dalle caratteristiche eccezionali, con un
incremento del carico di rottura fino al 18% ed un notevole
miglioramento del modulo. Il compattamento della treccia
determina una leggera riduzione del diametro finale facendo
delle trecce HPS un prodotto molto adatto all’uso scalzato con
performance molto elevate.
The Heat Prestretch Setting is based upon the concept of
High Temperature Pre-Stretching of the ropes. The process of
increasing the temperature of the Dyneema® braid, while
subjected to a constant and determined load, permits an
ulterior equilibrium on the tension of the fibres. This results in
an increase of the Breaking Load of the rope up to 18% and a
significant improvement of the modulus. The compacting of the
braid results in a reduction of the final diameter and a highly
appropriate product for use without cover.

PBO Master Race nasce per attrezzare le migliori imbarcazioni da regata dove innovazione ed esasperazione
delle performance mettono a dura prova equipaggi,
barche e attrezzature. PBO Master Race garantisce un
allungamento simile al cavo d’acciaio, con il vantaggio
della maneggevolezza, del confort di presa e del minor
peso, caratteristiche proprie di una grande cima; non
risente le sollecitazioni di una intensa attività a bordo
di barche da regata o maxi yachts, anche se usata su
pulegge di piccolo diametro.
Altre caratteristiche sono l’eccellente carico di rottura
e la resistenza alle abrasioni unitamente ad una elevata stabilità di forma su winch e stoppers.
Pbo Master Race è infine facilmente impiombabile.

The name itself indicates the performance level of
this rope. Designed for sail professionals and for their
boats where the innovation and the exasperation
of the performance requested put crews, boats and
equipment to the test. PBO Master Race, the only rope
that will stop at nothing! Rope with a stretch similar to
steel wire rope, with the advantage of better handling,
more comfortable grip and lighter weight. Withstands
the stress of demanding, on board, activities of
innovative racing boats and maxi yachts and on small
diameter blocks. Excellent breaking load and abrasion
resistance. Elevated stability of structure on winches
and stoppers. Easily spliced using the correct methods.

Nata per l’uso su imbarcazioni con elevate performance, grazie all’impiego della nuova fibra Dyneema® SK
78, che ne migliora la stabilità sotto carico e una speciale calza di protezione, la rende la cima di riferimento
per gli skipper più esigenti. L’anima in Dyneema® SK78,
idonea anche per l’uso scalzato grazie all’applicazione di un coating poliuretanico, viene stabilizzata con
un particolare processo. La calza esterna, studiata
per grandi sollecitazioni, è realizzata in PBO-Zylon® e
Poliestere Alta Tenacità.
La particolarità di questa cima è l’estrema resistenza all’abrasione e ne permette l’uso con alti carichi,
garantendo un eccezionale fattore di sicurezza e massima precisione nella regolazione di qualsiasi manovra.
Created for use on high performance sailing boats.
Thanks to the new Dyneema® SK78 fiber and a special
protection cover, which improve stability under loading,
Tigerope is the reference rope for the most demanding skippers. The Dyneema® SK78 core, also suitable
to be used removing the external cover, thanks to the
pretreatement with a polyurethane resin, is subjected
to a particular stabilizing treatment. The external cover
is studied to endure high solicitations and realized with
PBO-Zylon® and High Tenacity Polyester.
The particularity of this rope is the extreme abrasion
resistance and can be used with the highest loads,
guaranteeing an exceptional security factor and the
highest precision as far as the regulation of any running rigging is concerned.

Viper 78 è fra le cime al top della gamma Armare per

Studiato per resistere al logorio continuo delle scotte
e scotte dello spinnaker, del gennaker e per i bracci.
L’ottima resistenza alle alte temperature
del Kevlar® previene la fusione
della calza sui winch e su tutti i punti d’attrito.
L’anima impregnata con coating Poliuretanico e
trattamento termico HSP è predisposta anche all’uso
scalzato. Basso allungamento e minima
necessità di regolazione.

Viper 78 is at the top of the Armare ropes range for the
fibres used and the technology of construction.
It’s studied to prevent the high abrasion cycles on
spinnaker and gennaker sheets and on afterguys.
Kevlar® fiber is an excellent guarantee against cover
melting on winches; The core is finished with a
polyurethane coating and HSP heat treatment; for this
reason it is possible to use the rope without the cover.
The low stretch reduces continuous adjustments.
Use
Sheets, afterguys, runners, tackles and all uses with
high working loads and high abrasion cycles.

Realizzata in 100% Dyneema® SK78 con costruzione
a treccia singola. Indicata per tutti gli usi dove
resistenza, leggerezza e minimo assorbimento d’acqua
sono requisiti fondamentali. La sostanziale differenza
fra il Dyneforce 78 ed il Dyneforce 75 è la maggiore
stabilità della treccia quando sottoposta a carichi
continuativi. Per l’uso sui winch e sugli stoppers,
onde evitare la fusione della fibra di Dyneema®, è
indispensabile sovrapporre una calza protettiva (scelta
fra le Protection covers).
Facile la realizzazione di impiombature.

Cima in 100% Vectran® HS con creep nullo e alta
resistenza all’abrasione; Vec-Tec assicura massima
affidabilità al minimo allungamento, per tutti gli
usi che richiedono alta resistenza, leggerezza e
minimo assorbimento d’acqua. Ideale per drizze dove
l’allungamento ed il creep devono essere prossimi
allo zero, con peso e diametro ridotto, stroppi, rinvii e
paranchi. Con Vec-Tec si possono formare ritenute a
bozzelli ed accessori.
Il Vec-Tec C migliora la resistenza ai raggi solari
garantita, grazie all’applicazione di un coating
poliuretanico pigmentato.
Il Vec-Tec N è comunque trattato con coating
poliuretanico ma senza pigmentazione, ottimo per
la realizzazione dei frenelli delle timonerie ed altre
applicazioni.
Su richiesta si fornisce la treccia al naturale, senza
trattamento poliuretanico. Facile l’impiombatura.

Description
­­100% Vectran® HS rope with zero creep and a high
resistance to abrasion. The advantages of using a
rope composed of a single braid and a single fibre are
incomparable. Vec-Tec: maximum reliability, minimum
stretch! For all applications which require high levels of
resistance, low weight and minimum water absorption.
Ideal for strops, control lines, tackles and halyards
with reduced weight and diameter, due to a near zero
stretch and creep. With Vec-Tec it is possible to create
block beckets and accessories of all kinds.
The high resistance to abrasion is guaranteed by the
application of a polyurethane coating (Vec-Tec C), and
the resistance to UV rays is guaranteed by a grey
pigmentation, making it ideal for all static applications.
Particular attention must be paid to make sure that
the workloads match those of the rope and that
dimensions are correct and suitable for the equipment
being used. Natural untreated braid can be supplied
upon request. Easily spliced.

Description
The intelligent combination of three fibres forms
this special rope, created for racing boats where
continuous manouvres and great solicitations put
the covering resistance to the test. Destined to a
professional use on big boats, it can also be used
on small monotypes, where the high number of
manouvres damages the rope in an irreparable manner.
Dragonfly One is the logical solution to wear and
tear on big and small boats. Compared to all other
ropes, this has the highest resistance to abrasion
thanks to the guarantee of the high fusion point of
the aramid fibre. The combination with HT Polyester
makes it soft and flexible and its coloration makes it
easily identifiable. The Vectran® core has low stretch
and maximum stability thanks to a near zero creep
under loading conditions. This implies that continuous
regulation and recovery is unecessary. Can be spliced
using the correct tools and methods.

Description
Armare has created a new range of protection covers for technical
ropes. These protection covers, which show the highest level of
performance and extreme traction resistance, originate from actual
requirements on monotypes, racing boats and maxi yachts.
The fibers used to produce the special protection covers have the
highest thermic resistance, with a melting point of 650 °C and excellent mechanical abrasion resistance. They are ideal for the protection of the critical points where the ropes run at high speed, with
continuous friction and heavy loading. These are therefore the perfect
solution to protect the exit points of halyards at the top of masts and
on stoppers, the sheets and tackles on winches and all running rigging
subject to high stress.

Dragonfly Two è l’alternativa a Dragonfly One, rispetto
alla quale garantisce un risparmio di peso ed un
interessante risparmio sul costo. Tre fibre diverse
danno vita ad una cima adatta a barche da regata
dove sia richiesta una elevata resistenza all’abrasione
della calza esterna. L’anima in Dyneema® trattata
con coating poliuretanico, la rende utilizzabile anche
scalzata. La copertura risultante dalla scalzatura può
essere conservata per il rinforzo o la sostituzione della
stessa una volta logorata. Resistenza all’abrasione
superiore rispetto a qualsiasi altra cima, garantita dalla
fibra aramidica con alto punto di fusione.
La combinazione con il poliestere ad alta tenacità
dona flessibilità e morbidezza e la sua colorazione
rende la cima ben identificabile in qualsiasi situazione.
L’anima in Dyneema® ha un ridotto allungamento che
potrebbe necessitare di alcuni piccolissimi recuperi,
fino al totale assestamento delle fibre e dell’intreccio.

Description
Dragonfly Two is the alternative to its sister product
Dragonfly One, very similar but with alower weight,
resulting in a lower cost. Here too, three different
fibres in a single construction, give rise to a new
rope, created for racing boats where continuous
tacking challenges the abrasion resistance of the
rope. The core made with Dyneema®, treated with a
polyurethane coating, makes this product fit for use
even without the external cover, retaining the outer
cover on the parts which are handled and on those
which have contact with winches and stoppers. Once
these parts become worn, the unused outer cover can
be retained for reinforcement or substitution. The core
with made Dyneema® core has a reduced stretch and,
once subjected to workload conditions, it may need
slight recovery until the total settlement of the fibre
and twist. Can be spliced using the correct tools and
methods.

Descrizione
Dagli impieghi aerospaziali alle barche da regata, la
fibra Vectran® trova solo utilizzi tecnici di grande rilievo.
Questa è la cima ideale per drizze a basso allungamento
e massima stabilità sotto carico, garantita dal creep
prossimo allo zero della fibra di Vectran® HS fino al
50 % del carico di rottura. Non soffre le flessioni ed il
passaggio su pulegge di piccolo diametro. Si consiglia
l’utilizzo per ogni situazione in cui sia richiesto basso
creep, sia su barche da regata che su maxi yachts.
Mantiene una buona compattezza e rotondità anche
sotto carico incrementando così la resistenza alle
abrasioni. Impiombabile facilmente,
usando la tecnica adeguata.

Dagli impieghi balistici a quelli oceanici, la leggerezza e
la più alta resistenza tessile mai ottenuta, sono unite da
un’unico nome, Dynerace. Usata sulle barche a vela da
regata di ogni livello, ma entrata prepotentemente a far
parte delle manovre correnti di derive, barche da crociera
fino ai maxi yachts. Dynerace presenta una grande
durata nel tempo, elevati carichi di rottura, eccellente
resistenza alle flessioni e all’abrasione. Una calza molto
compatta protegge l’anima in Dyneema® SK75 trattata
con coating poliuretanico e trattamento termico HSP,
effettuato solamente su diametri a partire dai 4 mm.
Queso trattamento permette di scalzare la cima nei punti
desiderati per alleggerirla e renderla meno voluminosa,
mantenendo la garanzia di una ottima protezione
dell’anima interna portante. Impiombabile facilmente.

Description
Light weight with the highest textile resistance ever
obtained. These are the principal characteristics united
in a single name: Dynerace. Used on sailing and racing
boats at every level, for running lines, from dinghies to
maxi yachts. High durability rope with elevated breaking
load, excellent flex/fold characteristics and resistance
to abrasion. The very compact cover protects the
Dyneema® SK75 core which has already been pretreated
with Polyurethane coating and HSP heat treatment (on
diameters from 4 to 24 mm). This allow the cover to
be removed at desired points to lighten the rope and
to make it less bulky, while mantaining the guarantee
of an optimum protection of the core, the principal
supporting factor of the rope itself. Easily spliced using
the correct methods.

Questa cima in 100 % Dyneema® SK75 ha il rapporto
carico di rottura/peso metro al top della gamma.
Dyneforce è un concentrato di tecnologia ed affidabilità
che, a parità di peso, è sette volte più resistente di un
cavo d’acciaio, grazie agli incomparabili vantaggi della
costruzione in una unica treccia ed una unica fibra.
Indicata per tutte le applicazioni che richiedono alta
resistenza, leggerezza e minimo assorbimento d’acqua,
ideale per drizze a basso peso e diametro ridotto, per
scotte e bracci spi, stroppi, rinvii e paranchi.
Alta resistenza all’abrasione e ai raggi solari, non
soffre le flessioni e l’impiego su piccole pulegge.
Grazie al suo elevato carico di rottura si possono
utilizzare diametri ridotti riducendo il peso a bordo,
dimensionando in modo corretto tutta l’attrezzatura
impiegata, verificando i carichi di lavoro in base a
quelli della cima. Facile l’impiombatura.

advantages of using a rope composed of a single
braid and a single fibre are incomparable. Dyneforce
is a concentration of technology and reliability which,
pound for pound, is 7 times stronger than steel. For all
applications which require high resistance, low weight
and minimum water absorption. Ideal for small diameter and low weight halyards, sheets and after guys,
strops,control lines and tackles. With Dyneforce it is
possible to form eyes (adequately spliced) for block
beckets and fittings of all kinds. High resistance to
abrasion and UV rays. Excellent flex/fold characteristics on small pulleys. Thanks to the elevated breaking
load, small diameters can be used, thus reducing

I moschettoni tessili Light Shackles sono
interamente realizzati con Dyneema® SK75, senza
l’utilizzo di parti metalliche. Trovano impiego per
la sostituzione di qualsiasi aggancio metallico
apribile, garantendo sicurezza, tenuta ed un
considerevole risparmio di peso, quantificabile
in circa 6 volte. La loro leggerezza e costruzione
in fibra tessile evita qualsiasi danno a cose e
persone per urti accidentali, preservando le superfici delle imbarcazioni e dell’albero. Vengono
eliminati i fastidiosi cigolii che i moschettoni
metallici possono produrre.

Description & applications
The textile Light Shackles are entirely realised with
Dyneema® SK75, without metal parts.
They can be used to substitute any opening metal hook,
guaranteeing security, resistance and a considerable
weight reduction (about 6 times less). Their lightness
and the construction with textile fibers help to prevent
damage to people due to accidental impacts, and to
protect the boat surface and the mast.
What’s more, they don’t squeak.
Use
Snap shackles for halyards and sheets.
Shackles and Padeye that can be opened.
Sails hanks, special shackles for blocks.

I Dyneema® Light Loops consentono la sostituzione
di qualsiasi grillo con riduzione di peso di oltre
85%. Sono applicabili senza danni a qualsiasi
falchetta, golfare o bitta, e risultano utili per
l’accoppiamento dei carrelli del trasto randa o della
scotta genoa, come punti di attacco sul tangone
per carica basso/alto. I Loops hanno la possibilità
di essere costruiti direttamente su moschettoni o
golfari o di una costruzione personalizzata su misura
per raggiungere un ottimale angolo di entrata su un
winch. Permettono la rotazione dell’orientamento di
una manovra di 180° (es.: drizza randa 2:1) oppure
l’orientamento a 360°. Infine, sono garanzia di
maneggevolezza e morbidezza, non graffiano, non
urtano, non arrugginiscono.

Description & applications
The Dyneema® Light Loops allow the replacement
of any shackle with a subsequent weight reduction of more than 85%. Application to toe-rails,
eyebolts/padeyes or bollards without damage.
Very useful for coupling the traveller onto main
sheets or genoa sheets.
They can be used as points of connection on the
spinnaker pole for the foreguy or toplift.
The Loops can be built directly onto snap-shackles or eybolts/padeyes; and they can be custom
built in order to obtain an optimal enter angle on
winches. They allow a 180° rotation of the angle
on some accessories (ex. Main halyard 2:1) or a
360° orientation. Good handling and suppleness,
no scratches, no crushing, no rust.

Description
Dynecruise is beyond all confrontation for its breaking
load, stretch and refined construction. Cruising boat
skippers are particularly keen on this rope, due to its
versatility and low stretch characteristics, good breaking
load, optimal resistance to abrasion, good handling and
constant stability of structure. A very compact cover
protects the Dyneema® SK75 core. The cover prevents
slipping between cover and core, and reduces flattening.

carico di rottura e un basso allungamento, ma anche
flessibilità, maneggevolezza, leggerezza e contenuto
assorbimento d’acqua. La costruzione a doppia

This article is superior to the quality of the regular
polyester double braids, thanks to the core which is
braided with Spectra® and High Modulus Polyethylene.
Good Breaking load and a fairly low elongation, but
also flexibility, suppleness, lightness and low water
absorption. The double braid construction, without the
intermediate braid, makes it easy to splice.

Description
Star is the most widely used rope on all cruising boats.
Thanks to the balanced double braid construction it
remains supple, manageable and resistant to flexion
and abrasion. The prestretch treatment significantly
reduces elongation and improves the breaking load,
making it also suitable for halyards, topping lifts and
tackles. All this makes Star the ideal rope for splicing
on snap shackles, blocks, thimbles and other fittings.

Description
Bora is the name of the strong wind which blows
from the north-east, through Trieste, converging in
the Adriatic Sea. The power of this wind bears some
affinity to this rope which is compact, resistant
and low stretch. The good quality/price ratio makes
Bora a product suitable for cruising boats, where its
qualities are exalted even after long periods of use. Its
compactness, resistance to abrasion and low stretch
make it suitable for halyards, topping lifts, vang and
tackles. The short pitch construction stands up well to
stoppers and winches. Can be spliced.

La drizza per antonomasia, perché costruita con anima
unidirezionale, per minimi allungamenti sotto carico.
Pur utilizzando una cima in Poliestere, si ottengono
performance di buon livello,
apprezzate anche dai velisti più esigenti.
Lo speciale Poliestere fissato e la particolare
costruzione, garantiscono il minimo allungamento
della Static. Questo perché i fili dell’anima vengono già
disposti nel senso longitudinale della cima ed essendo
paralleli, cioè senza torsioni, non hanno l’effetto molla.
La cima non si deforma sotto carico ed il bloccaggio
sugli stopper è sempre sicuro, mantenendo una buona
resistenza alle abrasioni.

Description
The halyard par excellence as it is constructed with
a unidirectional core for minimum stretch under
loading conditions. HT Polyester rope with a good level
of performance, which is highly rated by the most
demanding of seafarers.
The minimum stretch of Static is guaranteed by the
special low elongation Polyester and by its particular
construction. This is due to the fact that the yarns
of the core are arranged in a longitudinal line along
the rope and, being parallel, that is without twists,
there is no spring effect. No deformation under loading
conditions, so a good level of abrasion resistance is
mantained and blocking on stoppers is always secure.

Description

cover. Guaranteed hold even when the rope is wet.
The secure blocking on stoppers, winches and cleats
makes it versatile both on dinghies and cruising boats.
Staple fibres remove the natural shine and slipperiness
from HT Polyester and render the cover of this rope
opaque and slightly fleecy. This allows for an optimum
handgrip, secure blocking on stoppers and cleats, a
perfect grip on winches and their self-tailing. Compact
and manageable, it has a good resistance to rubbing on
shrouds, movements on trailers etc.

contempo flessibile e molto elastica. Ideale per gli ormeggi dei maxi yachts, oggi può soddisfare tutti i tipi di imbarcazione, grazie alla scelta di colori e diametri.
La cima più usata sui maxi yachts che, grazie alla costruzione a doppia treccia, risulta sempre morbida e maneggevole, anche nei diametri più grossi perchè non irrigidisce
con l’uso e con l’acqua di mare.
La costruzione a fibre differenziate dona enorme elasticità
e può assorbire violente sollecitazioni, ammortizzando
così quelle trasmesse all’imbarcazione. La Storm Line
si impiomba con facilità grazie alla sua morbidezza,
ottenendo splendide cime per l’ormeggio che, se rifinite
accuratamente con pelle, sono nota di estrema eleganza

Mooring line with a strong, tenacious character but
flexible and very elastic at the same time. Ideal for the
mooring of maxi yachts but today it is able to satisfy
all types of boats thanks to the choice of colours and
diameters. The mooring line most used on maxi yachts.
Thanks to the double braid construction it is always
supple and manageable even in large diameters. Does
not become rigid when used or when in contact with
sea water. The double braid construction gives the
rope great elasticity and shock absorbance, cushioning those effects which are transmitted to the boat.
Storm line is easy to splice thanks to its suppleness:
the result is splendid mooring lines which, if carefully
finished with leather, present prestige with an extreme

Famosa cima trecciata ad otto legnoli per l’ormeggio e
l’ancoraggio, sicuramente fra i prodotti più apprezzati ed
usati nel mondo nautico. Ora disponibile nei tre colori
standard e quattro colori speciali ed una ampia gamma
di diametri. L’elevata resistenza alle abrasioni, il buon
carico di rottura, l’elasticità e la maneggevolezza, sono
requisiti fondamentali per la sicurezza di un ormeggio/
ancoraggio. La speciale trecciatura ad otto legnoli
a torsioni equilibrate della fibra di Poliestere Alta
Tenacità, rende la cima flessibile, antitorsione, con
alto assorbimento degli strappi, resistente agli acidi,
ai raggi UVA, all’acqua salata. La Square Line affonda
ed è quindi ottima anche per l’ancoraggio. Si può
impiombare direttamente sulla catena, agevolando lo
stivaggio nei gavoni perchè poco ingombrante.
Destinazione d’uso
Per l’ormeggio di tutte le imbarcazioni fino ai maxi
yacht. L’ancoraggio ed ormeggi volanti o lunghi per
medie e piccole imbarcazioni.

Description
The famous 8 strand braid for mooring and anchoring
is certainly amongst the most used and highly rated
products in the marine world.
Now available in 3 standard and 4 special colours
and in a vast range of diameters. Square line has an
elevated abrasion resistance, a good breaking load,
elasticity and manageability: such are the fundamental
safety requisites for mooring/anchoring lines. The
balanced twist 8-strand braid of HT Polyester fibre
makes this rope flexible, anti-tortion, with good mass
absorption, resistant to acids, UV rays and salt water.
Square line does not float and is therefore an optimum
choice for anchoring. It can be spliced directly to
chains, thus facilitating peaks storing.

The new line for long moorings, towing and/or
emergency anchoring, is made with 100% Dyneema®
SK75 and protected with a Polyurethane Coating.
The advantages of this new product are remarkable:
High tensile strength and therefore the possibility
of significantly reducing the diameter of the rope.
Light, thanks to the low specific gravity
of Dyneema® fibre;
buoyant and very low water absorption.
High visibility for both the colour and its buoyancy.
High resistance to abrasion due to the intrinsic

Dagli impieghi balistici a quelli oceanici, la leggerezza e
la più alta resistenza tessile mai ottenuta, sono unite da
un’unico nome, Dynerace. Usata sulle barche a vela da
regata di ogni livello, ma entrata prepotentemente a far
parte delle manovre correnti di derive, barche da crociera
fino ai maxi yachts. Dynerace presenta una grande
durata nel tempo, elevati carichi di rottura, eccellente
resistenza alle flessioni e all’abrasione. Una calza molto
compatta protegge l’anima in Dyneema® SK75 trattata
con coating poliuretanico e trattamento termico HSP,
effettuato solamente su diametri a partire dai 4 mm.
Queso trattamento permette di scalzare la cima nei punti
desiderati per alleggerirla e renderla meno voluminosa,
mantenendo la garanzia di una ottima protezione
dell’anima interna portante. Impiombabile facilmente.

Description
Light weight with the highest textile resistance ever
obtained. These are the principal characteristics united
in a single name: Dynerace. Used on sailing and racing
boats at every level, for running lines, from dinghies to
maxi yachts. High durability rope with elevated breaking
load, excellent flex/fold characteristics and resistance
to abrasion. The very compact cover protects the
Dyneema® SK75 core which has already been pretreated
with Polyurethane coating and HSP heat treatment (on
diameters from 4 to 24 mm). This allow the cover to
be removed at desired points to lighten the rope and
to make it less bulky, while mantaining the guarantee
of an optimum protection of the core, the principal
supporting factor of the rope itself. Easily spliced using
the correct methods.

There is a continuous demand for this rope which has
proved to retain its luster for years aboard the many
boats which have used it.
Even though it mantains its classic double braid
construction, Star Gold is constantly updated in its
structure and colours. The most widely used rope
on all vintage boats. Thanks to the balanced double
braid construction it remains supple, manageable
and resistant to flexion and abrasion. The prestretch
treatment significantly reduces elongation and
improves the breaking load, making it also suitable for
halyards, topping lifts and tackles.
All this makes Star Gold the ideal rope for splicing
on snap shackles, blocks, thimbles and other
accessories.

NOTE TECNICHE GENERALI / GENERIC TECHNICAL NOTES
I dati e le caratteristiche tecniche riportate nel
presente catalogo sono da ritenersi puramente
indicativi e riferiti a cime nuove di fabbrica;
in particolare Armare declina ogni responsabilità
per eventuali errori di stampa sulle caratteristiche
tecniche dei prodotti.
I nodi possono ridurre il carico di rottura fino al 50%
così come errati metodi di impiombatura o imprecise
realizzazioni delle stesse.
Come indicato a margine di ogni tabella il carico di
lavoro non deve superare in nessun caso il 30% del
carico di rottura indicato. Le cime sotto carico non vanno
mai utilizzate, a contatto di superfici ruvide, ruggini o
comunque taglienti, in quanto potrebbero verificarsi
improvvise rotture delle cime e/o danni irreparabili alle
stesse. Nessuna responsabilità sarà da imputare ad
Armare per danni a cose o persone a causa di errato,
incauto o improprio uso delle cime.
Sciacquare le cime con acqua dolce (non montate
a bordo dell'imbarcazione) ogni due/tre mesi o almeno
a fine stagione, allunga la vita delle stesse
e garantisce un miglior rendimento nell'utilizzo.
Tenere le cime lontano dalla portata dei bambini,
non sono giocattoli!
Tutti i prodotti possono essere soggetti a variazioni
e modifiche senza alcun preavviso.
The data and the technical characteristics presented
in this catalogue are to be considered purely indicative
and refer to brand new ropes. In particular Armare
declines every responsability with regards to any
eventual printing errors, concerning the technical
characteristics of the products.
The use of knots may reduce breaking loads by up to
50% as will imprecise splicing or incorrect methods
of splicing.
As indicated in the margin of every illustrative table,
the workload must not, in any case whatsoever, exceed
30% of the indicated breaking load.
Never load ropes which are in contact with rough
surfaces, rust or sharp edges, as this may lead to sudden
breakage of the ropes or irreparable damage of the same.
No responsability can be imposed upon Armare for
damage to persons or things caused by the incorrect,
unsafe or inappropriate use of the ropes.
Rinse the ropes with soft water (after their
disinstallation) every two to three months or at least
at the end of each season. This extends the durability
of the same and guarantees better performance.
Keep the ropes out of the reach of children.
They are not toys!

Acquistare prodotti di qualità e seguire le regole
di buon utilizzo delle cime allunga la loro durata,
fa risparmiare l'utilizzatore finale e rispetta l'ambiente,
grazie al miglior utilizzo delle risorse, minor consumo
di energia e quindi un minor inquinamento ambientale.

Breaking Loads are tested on brand new ropes, spliced following the most adequate
splicing techniques.
Other diameters upon request.
The Static Load of the rope should not exceed 20% of Breaking Loads shown on
tables.
Knots can reduce the Breaking Load up to 60%.
Splicing will increase 1,5 times the diameter of the rope.
