Il modulo GPRS viene utilizzato per la trasmissione/ricezione di comandi a distanza fra un dispositivo cellulare ed una
stufa Ecoteck. Molto utile per clienti che desiderano comandare a distanza (esempio in montagna) questo mezzo di
riscaldamento, per avere un clima gradevole prima di giungervi.
INSTALLAZIONE E CONFIGURAZIONE:
Operazioni preliminari:
- disporre di una SIM CARD con credito disponibile sufficiente a coprire la necessità delle varie operazioni
di comando a distanza
- inserire la SIM in un telefono cellulare per disabilitare la richiesta di inserimento PIN all’ accensione
- rimozione del cassetto porta SIM agendo con un oggetto appuntito.Fare una leggere pressione sul tastino giallo.
- rimuovere la SIM dal telefono cellulare e, con modulo non alimentato, inserirla nell’ apposito alloggiamento.
Prima connessione
Dopo aver inserito la SIM, connettere il cavetto seriale da una parte al MODULO GPRS , alla scheda elettronica dall’
altra.
L’attivazione del LED “ALIMENTAZIONE PRESENTE“ indica che il modulo è alimentato e la batteria interna è in carica
N.B. :Se il modulo è rimasto fermo un certo tempo, è possibile che sia necessario qualche istante prima che il
modulo si attivi. La sua attivazione è evidenziata dall’ accensione del LED “Campo presente“.
Dopo alcuni istanti si attivano i LED “COMUNICAZIONE SERIALE ATTIVA” .Un costante lampeggio alternato tra i due
led è indice di una corretta comunicazione seriale.

Salvataggio numeri telefonici
Per inserire una lista di numeri di telefono inviare al dispositivo GPRS il segente messaggio:

= numero telefonico principale, quello che riceve tutti i messaggi di allarme oltre ad inviare e ricevere sms di
conferma dell’ operazione richiesta
y,z = numeri telefonici secondari, possono soltanto inviare e ricevere sms di conferma dell’ operazione richiesta
N.B. :Ogni volta che la SIM viene sostituita bisogna reinserire i numeri telefonici seguendo la procedura descritta nel paragrafo “Salvataggio numeri telefonici“.

(*) I numeri telefonici devono essere preceduti dal prefisso internazionale (+39 o 0039 per l’ Italia). L’invio di una nuova
combinazione numerica sovrascrive la precedente.
N.B. :Messaggi differenti da quelli riportati in tabella o non correttamente digitati ( attenzione a puntegggiatura e spaziatura ) fanno si che il modulo risponda con uno dei seguenti sms:
-Ridigita il messaggio con la temperatura ( potenza ) corretta
-Messaggio non riconosciuto
Funzione blackout
Quando abilitata, il modulo gprs invia al telefono principale con ritardo di circa 30 secondi un sms che avvisa che la
tensione è venuta a mancare. Il messaggio visualizzato sarà:

Reset del modulo
In caso di necessità è possibile resettare il modulo e ottenere così la cancellazione di tutti i numeri telefonici impostati.
Per ottenere ciò, mantenere premuto per circa 10 secondi il pulsante posto sulla “testa” del modulo. L’avvenuto reset è
caratterizzato dallo spegnimento e dalla successiva riattivazione dei led RX-TX. Il reset del modulo comporta il ripristino delle funzioni originali: lingua=italiano e funzione Black-out=attiva.

In caso di problemi
a: Il led “comunicazione GPRS attiva “ non si accende
- la SIM non è stata inserita correttamente
- la SIM non è stata attivata dall’ opereatore
- la richiesta di inserimento PIN è ancora attiva
In queste condizioni il modulo non può fornire nessuna operatività, per veri¿care lo stato della SIM inserirla in un cellulare e contattare l’opreratore.
b: I comandi non vanno a buon fine
Dopo aver eliminato qualsiai problema di ccui al punto precedente:
- veri¿care che il modulo GPRS sia alimentato e connesso alla stufa
- veri¿care la corretta alimentazione della stufa
- veri¿care l’esistenza e la correttezza del numero telefonico
- veri¿care che negli sms siano inseriti i comandi secondo il SET previsto (il sistema e’ insensibile alle lettere
maiuscole e minuscole, mentre riconosce punteggiatura e presenza di spazi non richiesti, come errori)
c: Verificare lo stato dei LED TX-RX
In situazioni normali lampeggiano l’ uno alternato all’altro ail intervalli abbastanza regolari.Condizioni differenti sono causate da dif¿coltà di collegamento tra modulo GPRS e scheda, oppure da scheda difettosa.
N.B.: Il modulo GPRS
N.B.: Il modulo GPRS aggiorna la propria memoria leggendo i dati nella scheda circa ogni 10s. Quindi risulta
opportuno interrogare la scheda con il comando “GET STATO” almeno 10s dopo aver inviato un comando di
modifica. In generale la rete nn è garantita in quanto la rete GSM potrebbe essere impegnata in modo da ritardare sia la ricezione del comando da parte del modulo GPRS sia la ricezione della conferma dalla stufa.
Questi comandi possono essere recapitati in sequenza temporale differente da quella di invio.

The GPRS module is used to transmit/receive remote commands between a mobile phone device and an Ecoteck stove.
Very useful for customers who require to control this means of heating remotely (for example in the mountains), in order
to have a pleasant temperature before arriving.
INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION:
Preliminary operations:
have a SIM CARD with sufficient credit available to cover the needs of the various remote control operations
insert the SIM in a mobile phone to disenable the request to input the PIN for ignition
remove the SIM carrier compartment using a pointed object. Press lightly on the yellow key.
remove the SIM from the mobile cell and, with the module disconnected, insert in the appropriate housing.
FIRST CONNECTION
After inserting the SIM, connect the serial cable to the GPRS MODULE on one hand and to the power board on the
other.
Activation of the “FEED PRESENT” LED indicates that the module is fed and that the internal battery is charging
N.B. :If the module remains unused for a certain period of time, a few minutes may be necessary before the
module is activated. Its activation is shown when the “Field present” LED comes on.
After a few minutes the “SERIAL COMMUNICATION ACTIVE” LEDS are activated. Constant flashing alternating between
the two LEDs indicates that the serial communication is correct.

SAVING PHONE NUMBERS
To input a list of phone numbers send the following message to the GPRS device:

x = main phone number, the one that receives all the alarm messages and sends and receives SMS confirming the
requested operation
y,z = secondary telephone numbers. They can only send and receive SMSs confirming the requested operation
N.B. :Every time the SIM is replaced, you must input the phone numbers again following the procedure
described in paragraph 10.1.1.

IF ANY PROBLEMS
a: the LED “GPRS CONNECTION AVAIBLE” is off.
- the SIM card has not been set in properly
- the SIM card has not yet been activated
- the request of adding PIN number is not satisfied
Under these circumstances the system can not work; to verify the stats of the SIM card, test it on
a mobile or contact mobile operatore
b: the messages do not reach the system
After you ceck a.m. issues:
- verify that GPRS system is fed and connected to the stove
- verify number is correct
- verify that the messages of SMS are set according to the demanded SET (while the system is not effected by capital
or normal letter, it recon point and spaces as mistakes)
c: verify status of LED TX-RX
normally the LED il flashing with regula intervals; if not, there could be problems in the connection between GPRS
system and electronic card.
The GPRS device, update its memory every 10 “. It is then advisable to ceck the message you sent after 10”
you sent it into “VIEW STATUS” menu.
Delay in transferring the message or in receiving the confirmation from the stoves may depend on availability
of GSM signal and not necessarly the messages to the stove are arriving at the time sequence you sent

(*) The phone numbers must be preceded by the international prefix (+44 or 44 for England). When a new numerical
combination is sent it overwrites the previous one.
N.B. :Different messages from those reported in the table or incorrectly input (attention to punctuation and
spacing) will result in the module replying with one of the following SMSs:
-Re-enter the message with the correct temperature (power)
-Unrecognised message
BLACKOUT FUNCTION
When enabled, the GPRS module sends the main telephone an SMS with a delay of around 30 seconds notifying that
there has been a blackout. The displayed message will be:

Reset module
If necessary, the module can be reset and all the set phone numbers can be deleted. To obtain this, keep the button on
the “head” of the module pressed for about 10 seconds. Resetting occurs when the RX-TX LEDs go out and come on
again. Resetting the module entails re-instatement of the original functions: language=Italian and Black-out=active.

On utilise ce module GPRS pour transmettre / recevoir les commandes à distance entre un dispositif cellulaire et un
poêle Ecoteck. Très utile pour les clients qui veulent commander à distance (par exemple en montagne) ce moyen de
chauffage, pour avoir un climat agréable déjà avant d’y arriver.
INSTALLATION ET CONFIGURATION :
Opérations préliminaires :
- disposer d’une CARTE SIM ayant suffisamment de crédit pour couvrir le besoin des différentes opérations
de commande à distance.
- introduire la SIM dans un téléphone portable, pour désactiver la demande d’insertion PIN à l’allumage
- enlever le tiroir porte-SIM en agissant avec un objet pointu. Faire une légère pression sur la petite touche jaune.
- enlever la SIM du téléphone portable et, avec le module non alimenté, l’insérer dans le logement prévu.
Première connexion
Après avoir inséré la SIM, connecter le câble série au MODULE GPRS d’une part et à la carte de puissance d’autre
part.
L’activation de la LED “ALIMENTATION PRÉSENTE” indique que le module est alimenté et que la batterie interne est
sous charge
N.B. : Si le module est resté à l’arrêt pendant un certain temps, il se peut que quelques instants soient nécessaires avant que le module s’active. Son activation est manifestée par l’allumage de la LED “Champ présent”.
Après quelques instants, les LED “COMMUNICATION SÉRIE ACTIVÉE” s’activent. Un clignotement constant alterné
entre les deux LED indique que la communication série est correcte.

Pour mémoriser une liste de numéros de téléphone, envoyer au dispositif GPRS le message suivant:

Fonction blackout
Quand cette fonction est activée, le module GPRS envoie au téléphone principal, avec un retard d’environ 30 secondes, un SMS avisant que la tension a été coupée. Le message affiché sera:

Reset du module
En cas de besoin il est possible de remettre à zéro le module et d’obtenir ainsi l’effacement de tous les numéros de
téléphone enregistrés. Pour obtenir cela, maintenir appuyé pendant environ 10 secondes le poussoir situé sur la “tête”
du module. La mise à zéro effectuée se manifeste par l’extinction et la réactivation des LED RX-TX. La mise à zéro du
module comporte le rétablissement des fonctions originelles. langue = italien, et fonction Black-out = activée.

En cas des problems
a: la carte SIM n’est pas bien placé
- la carte SIM n’ est pas encore activé
- de demande de code PIN n’est pas encore activé
Dans ces cas le system ne peut pas étre operatif; pour verifyé l’operativité il faut l’essayer dans une
Portable et contacter l’operateur telephonique.
b: les messages n’arrivent pas a destination
Si vous avez dejà verifié le problems mentionné:
- verifier que le system GPRS est connetté au poéle
- verifier que le nombre de téléphone est correct
- verifier que pour le SMS vous utilisé les information selon le SET (le system accept les majuscules et les minuscules
mais ne reconnait pas point ou ligne).
c: verifier le funtionnement du led
normalement le LED clignote regulierement; sinon il faut controller le connexion parmi le GPRS et la platine ou la platine est défectueuse
Le systéme GPRS, fait une mis à jour tous 10”. Nous suggérons de controller les messages après 10” vous
les avez envoyé, sur le menu “VOIR ETAT”.
Le retard sur la transmission du message ou la reception de la confirmation par le poéle, ça peut dependre
par la disponibilité de la ligne GSM et pas necéssairement les messages au poéle arrive avec la sequence de
temps que les messages ont été envoyes
