Alle piastrelle della serie WALK è stato assegnato il
marchio europeo di qualità ecologica Ecolabel che
attesta il ridotto impatto ambientale del prodotto
nell’intero ciclo di vita, e che rispetta rigorosi criteri di
prestazione ambientali stabiliti a livello comunitario,
quali un minor consumo energetico nei processi di
produzione, minori emissioni nell’aria e nell’acqua ed
una maggiore informazione al consumatore.
Il termine del ciclo di vita del prodotto si ha con la demolizione delle piastrelle. I detriti provenienti dalla
demolizione sono rottami di materiali ceramici inerti (non reattivi chimicamente e fisicamente stabili,
resistenti ad esposizione prolungata anche a condizioni estreme dal punto di vista termico, idrometrico
e chimico). Questi detriti possono essere localizzati
nell’ambiente senza rischi particolari, trovando anche
impiego nella preparazione di massetti, sottofondi ecc.

The tiles of the WALK serie have been awarded with
the European Ecolabel that certifies the reduced environmental impact of the product throughout its
life cycle, and that respects stringent environmental
performance criteria established at Community level,
such as reduced energy consumption in production
processes, reduced air and water emissions and greater consumer information. The end of the product’s life
cycle happens with the demolition of the tiles. Debris
from ceramic materials demolition scrap materials
are inert (non-reactive chemically and physically stable, resistant to prolonged exposure to extreme conditions in terms of thermal, chemical and hydrometric).
These debris can be located in the environment without special risks, finding use in the preparation of
screeds, substrates, etc.
