MAINTENANCE
Prima di montare l'indicatore accertarsi che l'interno
del corpo e gli attacchi filettati siano puliti. Eventuali
impurità dovranno essere rimosse per assicurare un
corretto funzionamento se si dispone di aria compressa
utilizzarla per una migliore pulizia.
Avvitare l'indicatore al serbatoio usando una chiave
proporzionata alla grandezza dello stesso.
Per ottenere una corretta tenuta sui filetti utilizzare nastro
di PTFE canapa o altro prodotto compatibile al fluido
in quantità adeguata, poichè un eccessivo impiego
potrebbe causare la rottura dell'indicatore.
Before to assemble the level gauge at the tank open it
completely. Check inside the body and the threaded parts
to be clean, possible impurities have to be removed in order
to ensure a right functioning. If compressed air is at your
disposal, use it for a better cleaning.
Screw the plug cock at the tank using a suitable wrench.
In order to get a correct sealing on threadings it is useful to
employ PTFE, hempen tape or other product compatible
with the fluid, in adequate quantity since an excessive
employ could cause the gauge breakage.
Verificare saltuariamente la tenuta della baderna. In caso di perdita, avvitare il dado
premistoppa per comprimere la baderna; un'eccessiva coppia di serraggio può provocare
il malfunzionamento o un danneggiamento irreversibile alle guarnizioni di tenuta.
Se il dado premistoppa è giunto a fine corsa senza ottenere la tenuta, questo evidenzia che
la baderna ha esaurito la sua funzione e quindi deve essere sostituita integralmente. Tale
operazione deve essere eseguita ad impianto non in pressione e non in temperatura.
Se necessario l'indicatore può essere smontato completamente utilizzando utensili standard.
Qualora l'interasse avesse una dimensione notevole sarà indispensabile prevedere dei giunti
intermedi.
Occasionally verify the sealing of the packing. In case of leakage, screw the gland to press the
packing; excessive force could cause a bad functioning of the valve and irreversible damages to
the packing.
If the nut reaches the end of its run without obtaining any sealing, this means the packing has
finished its function and must be replaced. This operation must be done at plant not in pressure
neither in temperature.
If necessary the gauge can be disassembled using standard tools.
In case the length between upper and lower cock is considerable, it will be indispensable provide
the gauge by median joints.
